Bland food and not cheap. Service okay. Rest rooms down steep stairs and required cleaning. Overall an average lunch. Gluten free food available but average in quality.

My sister was taking a NYC airporter bus to LaGurdia and got to 41st much too early. We walked a block and found Blooms. We entered with our luggage and packages, hot and dishelveled to be greeted by a lovely hosted who parked our luggage to the side and led us to a quiet table. We told our waiter that... More

I read online that this place was gluten free friendly and since it was around the corner from Pip’s Place I figured we would give it a shot. While I was not provided a separate GF menu nor did I see a separate section on the menu, our waitress was extremely in tune with our needs and new exactly what... More

I stayed just over the road at Pod 39 and enjoyed fantastic gluten free pancakes here for breakfast on a couple of occasions. It feels like a classic american deli and the service is super fast.

We ate at Blooms' for breakfast and dinner a few times throughout our 4 day stay in NYC. We stumbled across it as it was close to our hotel (The Kimberly). The food was amazing... massive portions, tasty and loads of choice, and mid of the range price wise. The staff were helpful and friendly. The decor was fun and... More

We were looking for a deli that serves eggs and corned beef hash. They offer this both as a regular menu item and a combo meal special, so I assumed that it'd be great. Unfortunately I was presented with what must have been canned corned beef hash. Eggs were cooked just right but the truck stop diner style corned beef... More

We ate at Blooms on first visit to NY two years ago and went back again this year. Food and service really good, would thoroughly recommend this place.

This is a place which values a diner's time. By that I mean, they get your meal to as quickly as possible, and keep coming with the coffee. I have eaten there a number of times, and usually order bananna and chocolate chip pancakes. They have gotten smaller over the years, but are still delicious.
