Classic American Breakfast!

We had our breakfast here every few days on our trip to New York! Bloom's has the real deal: pancakes, omelettes and all the diner classics. The service is very friendly and fast, and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. The food quality is as expected for what it is - good taste, big servings... read more

Their hot pastrami sandwich is not a thick as it used to be 20 years ago. The service was average at best & the coffee crappy. What really ticked me off is that they wouldn't bring me picked and Cole slaw to accompany my pastrami sandwich because it was 10:35 and they didn't offe pickles until 11am. Can't wait for... More

The concierge desk at our hotel recommend Bloom's to us as a breakfast place, so we went there to try it out. There was a decent amount of customers there for a Friday morning. The menu offers quite a lot of breakfast choices, most of them are your standard options. They also have some combos, where it's usually a main... More

We had breakfast here a couple of times. It is the best breakfast place close to Pod 39 (a couple of blocks walk). Good service. Average prices. Food was tasty and plentiful. I recommend any of their omelets.

We had an uneven experience at best. My wife had one of the triple combinations -- chicken liver, tongue and cheese -- in which the chicken liver had an odd orange appearance and a flavor that spoke of some addition like Russian dressing. She proclaimed it mushy and sweet. My open-face Reuben was a massive pile of sauerkraut, meat and... More

This was our first breakfast experience in NewYork and proved to be a great start to our holiday. It was an authentic deli that served a great selection of breakfast choices. The staff were very friendly and helpful too.

What a wonderful surprise to find gluten free food in a genuine deli. My daughter has celiac and hasn't been able to find gluten free delicatessan food since her diagnosis. The food was amazing, prices were very reasonable and the service was incredible. The milk shake was a little disappointing but no complaints other than that. It is a very... More

Traditional New York deli, complete with complimentary pickles and cole slaw on arrival. The gluten free pastrami and side of fries was perfect. Portions are big enough, had to take-away the second half of the sandwich.

A perfect deli for either one. The service is prompt, the breakfast is comfort food. Between the Challah French Toast and the scrambled eggs with sausage , it satisfied our pallets.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
