My daughter is celiac and loved the attention the staff paid, including the GF bread delivered without ceremony. Both GF and non GF dishes were superb and everyone was happy to share the creme brulee and flourless chocolate torte. Our dining companions were not GF and were thrilled with their food. The adults also loved the very reasonably priced wine... More

Went to Bistango on our last nt in NYC. Walked through snow covered streets from our hotel on 35th st to find this gem of a place. From the moment we walked in we felt at home. All staff thoroughly wonderful. Menu varied and food AMAZING. So good to be treated as normal being gluten intolerant, and not as some... More

Sadly I live in England so can't visit this wonderful restaurant very often. As I eat a gluten free diet it is great to find I can have so much choice and everything was delicious, my husband who is not celiac also enjoyed his meal. The service is really friendly and helpful. I hope to make it back there!

We have been to both of Bistango's locations, most recently this past weekend to the 50th Street restaurant. We were attracted to the 28th Street location because of the gluten free (my wife is gluten free) options and decided to try the 50th Street location. Service is wonderful, food is very, very good.

This place isn't exclusively gluten free, but they do an amazing job at offering a wide selection of GF choices. Their version of GF eggplant parm makes me so happy. Getting GF bread to dip in their yummy red sauce made the night seem less cold and rainy. Their calamari appetizer includes both fried and unfried pieces (also with yummy... More

If you follow a gluten free diet, you know the challenges of eating out. It's NOT fun! I found this little gem by searching online, and decided to give it a try. Four of us went (only myself is GF). First of all there are two locations. We ate at Bistango at The Kimberly Hotel at 145 East 50th Street.... More

Over the past several years, my friends and I have had and continue to have monthly dinner at Bistango. The service is impeccable with table visits by management throughout the evening. The menu features an array of traditional and non-traditional dishes with a flair of "pow" added in. That twist of something special keeps you coming back for more and... More

My wife, daughter and I were in NYC to celebrate my daughters birthday for the weekend and ended up dining at the Bistango one of the nights we were there. The food was excellent as well as the service. It is not overly priced and it was conveniently located to our hotel. We will certainly be going back the next... More

We were looking for a pleasant spot on the east side to meet a friend who had just flown in from overseas. Bistango was the ideal spot. We were all jet lagged and not too hungry. We shared 2 flatbreads one with wild mushrooms, carmelized shallots truffle and thyme and the other with pesto, artichoke hearts , pine nuts and ricotta.... More
