Both Locations are GREAT

This place isn't exclusively gluten free, but they do an amazing job at offering a wide selection of GF choices. Their version of GF eggplant parm makes me so happy. Getting GF bread to dip in their yummy red sauce made the night seem less cold and rainy. Their calamari appetizer includes both fried and unfried pieces (also with yummy... More

If you follow a gluten free diet, you know the challenges of eating out. It's NOT fun! I found this little gem by searching online, and decided to give it a try. Four of us went (only myself is GF). First of all there are two locations. We ate at Bistango at The Kimberly Hotel at 145 East 50th Street.... More

Over the past several years, my friends and I have had and continue to have monthly dinner at Bistango. The service is impeccable with table visits by management throughout the evening. The menu features an array of traditional and non-traditional dishes with a flair of "pow" added in. That twist of something special keeps you coming back for more and... More

My wife, daughter and I were in NYC to celebrate my daughters birthday for the weekend and ended up dining at the Bistango one of the nights we were there. The food was excellent as well as the service. It is not overly priced and it was conveniently located to our hotel. We will certainly be going back the next... More

We were looking for a pleasant spot on the east side to meet a friend who had just flown in from overseas. Bistango was the ideal spot. We were all jet lagged and not too hungry. We shared 2 flatbreads one with wild mushrooms, carmelized shallots truffle and thyme and the other with pesto, artichoke hearts , pine nuts and ricotta.... More

4 years ago: From the moment I walked in the door to this restaurant I fell in love with it. The owner handed myself and my friend a glass of wine on the house as our table would be a few minutes. I have never met friendlier staff then those at this restaurant. I traveled from Dublin, Ireland and found... More

I've been eating gluten free for about 2 years now and this is by far the best Italian I have had. I'm Italian and pretty particular about pasta and can honestly say if I didn't know the raviolis I had were GF I would have not given it a second thought that they were homemade, fresh pasta? Ravs are my... More

Bistango is a great choice for a quick bite or a leisurely Italian meal. The restaurant is cozy, quaint and welcoming. We visited on a recent busy Friday night where the place was packed and for good reason. The food was excellent and service to match. We decided to eat at the bar since it offered a bit more room...
