My husband, son and I met with friends at the restaurant. The restaurant is very small and lighting is very low. The food was okay and the atmosphere was nice. Price is on the high side. Staff is attentive. Not sure if I would go back with all the restaurants in the city to choose from.

I want to start by saying I wanted to give 5 stars, but the portion size prevented me. I was with my big Italian family who are used to "family" sized dishes. I realize this is a nice Manhattan restaurant and not my grandmother's dinner table, but my portion seemed more like an appetizer. That being said, the gnocchi I... More

Friendly staff and good food. They felt attentive and serious about our allergies. Would recommend for gluten allergics any day.

Delicious gluten free ravioli and a very tasty salad. Attentive service. A great treat for gluten free and "regular" eaters!

I visited the original restaurant location on the 4th of July and I must say it was the best experience I had in NYC! Finding good gluten-free pasta is difficult, but finding STUFFED gluten-free pasta is next to impossible! I had the cheese tortelloni with spinach, peas, and artichokes, and it was AMAZING. They also served me fresh, hot bread... More

Wow, great Italian food that just happens to be Gluten free. The non gluten free food also received high reviews from my sisters family(local new yorkers). The price was very good for New york. The staff was friendly and ask the correct question about my gluten free requirements. The place is small so I recommend getting a reservation. The second... More

Bistango was a real treat for me on my recent trip to NYC. Not only do they have gluten free pasta, they have gluten free ravioli. The meal was delicious. Dessert was amazing too and the service was first rate : they even threw in a free glass of porto with my meal!

Bistango now has two locations: 30th and Lexington & 3rd Ave., between 80th and 81st Street. The Meat is mostly organic (Amish Farms) and the service is almost always excellent. I have eaten here for years and I am teased by my girlfriends (over the years) that I go there too often. Anyway, try the GF Fried Calamari & the... More

I visited the new location at 79th and third avenue. It was not a good experience. The calamari was salty. The penne pasta with pesto was tasteless and hard. The staff lacks experience. I am not willing to spend $17.00 on a plate of tasteless undercooked pasta even if it is gluten free. Neither location will receive my business.
