Quiet but great food right in the neighborhood

Very nicely prepared and flavorful pasta, pizzettes and main courses. Right in our neighborhood -- always friendly and welcoming. Usually very quiet so a great place to really enjoy your lunch or dinner.

We went to this restaurant after finding it on trip advisor. Thankfully we booked a table as when we arrived it was really busy (always a good sign). We had one Gluten Free eater with us, and 2 standard. The bread arrived (GF and standard) and was yummy and the pasta dishes were great. I had the pasta with scallops... More

Since we were staying at the Gansevoort Park, it was convenient to have our last dinner in New York at Bistango, which is only a few blocks away. Our reservation was for three at 6:30. When we arrived, the restaurant was only partially full. We asked for the nice table by the window, and the host graciously seated us there.... More

Small cozy restaurant. Really good pasta dishes and starters. The service was really good even when the place was full with guests.

Just arrived in NYC and needed some gluten free food and what a great restaurant...... I can't recommend this restaurant enough, especially if you are celiac like myself. Delicious!

This little corner, midtown Italian restaurant was perfect for an easy dinner after traveling to New York. When we arrived only one other table was occupied, but by the time we left, it was packed. Many of the patrons obviously knew the staff, and it felt comfortable like a real Neighbourhood gem. I had mussels for an appetizer and they... More

When we arrived only a dozen people occupying 3 tables. We were promptly seated and drink orders taken. Wine was served and meal orders taken. Menu was simple but offered a wide selection which was fresh and tasty. Entrée was good and hot when served. The staff knew what was in their food as we had allergy concerns and they... More

With both of us on a gluten free diet we were delighted to find this place a few years ago. They are very accommodating and the gluten free items on their menu taste like real food.

Firstly I apologise for not leaving this review when we visited. I could not remember the name of the restaurant, but we loved our evening here. We booked in advance of flying to New York from the UK. The restaurant is relaxed, friendly and the food delicious with lots of options - and it didn't cost the earth. We walked... More

We have just returned from New York where we ate at this restaurant and highly recommend it. My friend needs a GF diet and the whole of the menu is suitable for a GF diet without any compromise on taste and presentation. We both had excellent meals including pizza, pasta and cheesecake which my friend was delighted with. The staff... More
