Great spot, great food and beer

While staying at the hotel Mela this was our go to spot for drinks. No question this is a great spot, great selection of beer and tasty pub food that goes above the traditional greasy bar food. The staff was fun which brought us back.

We called ahead and reserved a few tables for happy hour. This place was packed on a Wednesday night. Full bar decent drinks. We didn't have any food. Good location near grand central

we were 4 for lunch. Two meals were good (2 of us had the cured meat and cheese board), 1 average (tandoori skewers) and one poor (calamari which was just plain and boring). Wait staff (Sarah) was good but there were delays in delivery of food and we asked for 2 more slices of bread for the cheese board as... More

Great place for a late night dinner. Very casual and upbeat. Menu has a wide variety. We shared a few appetizers and that was plenty food for a full meal. Everything was very tasty. Great place to hang out and have a drink too!

Excellent experience. I had the salmon and it was perfectly cooked and delicious. My friends had the fish and chips and steak and chips also perfectly cooked. Service was friendly and prompt and prices were very reasonable. Best of all it was close to the theatre we were going to after our meal. Definitely a great experience!

Service is friendly. Good hamburgers, if you like high chairs to have that give you a déjà vu moment.

Great atmosphere. The bar is next door to hotel mela. Plenty of beers to choose from on tap. Friendly bartenders.

We were escorted from this bar on Saturday night because we did not fit the profile of their clientele. we weren't in the bar for five minutes when we were told we needed to leave because my sister-in-law was with us. It was humiliating. Do not go to this establishment.

If I lived in New York, I would come here to hang out and chill after work. Just a cool funky place with interesting seating areas all with a rustic feel and charm old dark wood gives. Good simple dining choices that work well together, and taste great as well as plated well. I give it 3 out of 5... More

Minutes away from Times Square The Long Room feels a world away. Billed as an Irish Gastropub it welcomes you (especially on bitterly cold evenings) with a cozy, warm setting. Entering through a velvet curtain you find yourself in a typical old world pub with a very long bar, that is jammed packed in the evening, and a ample seating... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
