Always delicious, sometimes celeb-spotting, and half portions so you don't fall asleep in the theatre!

We always go here after the theater. The service is very friendly and efficient, the atmosphere pleasant (often there are celebrities in the room), the food reliably very good. Cost is quite reasonable (for NYC).

Never have a bad time at Orso! Love the food, especially the Pizza Bread! Great staff and located in the heart of the theatre district. A perfect evening.

Food and service was top notch. Went for a lunch which was great and no theater crowds. Got to actually enjoy the restaurant and food was delicious.

We eat here almost every trip to NYC. It's close to the theaters and for mid-town Manhattan well priced. For the first time I didn't have pasta but rather the skirt steak. Perfectly cooked with crisp roasted veggies. It came in a bowl like plate which made it hard to cut the meat even though it was very tender. A... More

Close to the theater district and open late for supper, Orzo was the perfect spot for dinner. The restaurant is located on a charming little street filled with other small restaurants . It was much nicer inside than it looked on line. Very cozy and very New York. We had raw oysters to start, which were perfection. We shared a... More

We were anxious to get to the theater but also quite hungry since we drove down from New Haven CT. One of my friends from the city recommended this restaurant so we decided to go there. Although most of the entries are pretty basic, the service is quick if you tell them you are going to see a show. We... More

Three of us had dinner at Orso Monday night. The roasted chicken was incredible. Someone else had the soft shell crab which also received a strong recommendation. This restaurant is very convenient to Times Square, has a reasonably priced wine list and we were served quickly. We were having a business dinner and the noise volume in the restaurant is... More

This wonderful Italian restaurant in the heart of the Broadway theater district is just as pleasant now as it was several years ago when we heard about it through an article on Joe Torre in the New Yorker magazine. The wait staff are allegedly young and aspiring actors, and they are delightful. The food and service are excellent and reasonably... More
