A little disappointing

We ate here pre-theater, and in general enjoyed the food, but felt we were treated like poor cousins, especially since I had reserved weeks in advance. We were given one of the two worst tables, which was especially disappointing since we arrived well in advance of our reservation time. The... read more

Lovely food, friendly staff, very accomodating. Tomato sauce on the ravioli was amazing. Would definitely come back again.

I loved it. Great menu. Unusual dishes. very pretty inside. Relaxing atmosphere. The food is just great. Better than most theatre district places.

Loved this restaurant after our show. Its a bit of a hike through the crowds of Times Square but so worth it once you arrive. Food was outstanding and service was 5 star. Can't wait to eat here again on our next trip.

Delicious and beautifully presented Italian food. Service was very attentive and professional. Try the roasted chicken and scallops. Menu changes daily. Our only complaint was that the pizza crust was bland, but toppings were creative and generous. We were a bit surprised that they requested a server's tip AND a "Captain's Tip". Perhaps this is common in NYC, but seems... More

Went here due to reviews (figured if famous people are often sighted here, must be good) and proximity to theatre. You have a couple levels of servers, and not a very large place, so attentive. Food was good, but can honestly say most of our other meals around the city were better at half the price, thus the 3 rather... More

I rarely give a 3-star review. Generally, places that I would rate as three-star-worthy aren't worth writing about. I'm quick to give one or two stars to a place that is quite bad; for me, 4 stars means "really good" and 5 stars means "extraordinary". A place I give 4 stars to is a place I will revisit frequently. Orso... More

Recommended by a family member, we tried this restaurant after a Broadway show matinee. We had made a reservation well in advance (2-3 weeks). Its location was wonderful in relationship to our theater and hotel - especially on a very rainy day. It did not disappoint. We loved the dishware as well as the food. Our waiter was attentive -... Good service from nice service staff. The caprese was standard, you know what you get. The artichokes was real good as was the lamb. A nice italian in the theatre district.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
