stopped in before leaving NY for sandwiches to go for my son and I. Corned beef was tough, fatty and nasty. Couldn't chew it, it was so tough. Try another place if you want Corned Beef!

We were in a rush to get something quick to eat before a Broadway show, and this was a great find. The sandwiches are reasonably priced and portions are enormous. I would highly recommend the Honey Moon (Corned beef and Pastrami on Rye). Service was very attentive and friendly. We were too full to eat our macaroon after the sandwiches,... More

We went here on a recommendation primarily because of the purported entertainment value. From that perspective we were not disappointed. All of the wait staff are aspiring broadway performers. They sing while they serve with each taking turns. They were all very talented, and some were just amazing. They announced at one point that 16 of their former co-workers had... More

If you took away the singing -- you would think this was a way overpriced, below average eatery. It got three stars here only because the waiters could sing a lick -- some could. There were a few singers you wanted to pay to stop singing. This breakfast deli is in the heart of Times Square -- so great big... More

.This is the restaurant I wanted to review, casual dining, great entertainment, affordable prices and good menu choices. They make their own Sangria wine, also very good. A fun place to eat if you don't mind sitting tight and close up to your neighbor and it isn't quiet .. Would go there again next time I'm in NYC.

It was a true NYC tourist event. Young families would love this. The burgers were good, the shakes were great. The friendly staff made it fun.

We stopped in here for lunch before a matinee show. It was the worst 1 1/2 hour I spent in NYC including LaGuardia airport. The staff was unable to juggle waiting tables, bussing, keeping restrooms clean and performing. The food was substandard. The performances were loud. You couldn't talk among yourselves. Forget about refills and be sure you order all... More

A classic New York take out deli. If you want classic American sandwiches and coffee "to go" served with attitude...this is your place. Freshly made food, good value food, served with minimal wait and friendly staff. My family had a Cubano (roasted pork, swiss cheese, mardarderella and dill pickle chips) pancakes with bacon and ham, and a speciality roll called... More

Was just in New York City and wanting to check out the Starlight Deli at 212 W 44th St. after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor mentioning that the waiter and waitresses sing. This address is located near 7th Ave. and the name is Star Lite Deli NOT Starlight Deli. It is a small Deli where you can buy food... More
