This is not the place where waiters sing and there are no tables to eat in. I think many people as mentioned are confusing this place with stardust diner. Starlite deli is a small yet great quality deli frequented by lots of new yorkers. I had the honey moon sandwich (corned beef and pastrami) and my mum had a tuna... More

This is a really fun place. The staff sings and performs while serving the meals. The food is well prepared home cooking of good quality. Service is lightning quick and the prices are reasonable. So if you are looking for some entertainment and a quick bite - this is a really great place to check out!

Staying at the nearby Marriott Marquis, we didn't have time for a sit-down meal before our show on our first night in New York. We picked up sandwiches at the Starlight Deli. My Reuben had so little sauerkraut that I was half finished before I was convinced there was any. It just wasn't very flavorful. The meat was OK but... More

Color can kill an appetite. Green and Yellow lighting flashing or cycyling every minute or two can render your food inedible! My gravy was sick looking and the salad dressing was gray! It was a mess. The singers were great and if they dialed back the karaoke reverb we could have heard them better. We didn't finish our meals and... More

stopped in before leaving NY for sandwiches to go for my son and I. Corned beef was tough, fatty and nasty. Couldn't chew it, it was so tough. Try another place if you want Corned Beef!

We were in a rush to get something quick to eat before a Broadway show, and this was a great find. The sandwiches are reasonably priced and portions are enormous. I would highly recommend the Honey Moon (Corned beef and Pastrami on Rye). Service was very attentive and friendly. We were too full to eat our macaroon after the sandwiches,... More

We went here on a recommendation primarily because of the purported entertainment value. From that perspective we were not disappointed. All of the wait staff are aspiring broadway performers. They sing while they serve with each taking turns. They were all very talented, and some were just amazing. They announced at one point that 16 of their former co-workers had... More

If you took away the singing -- you would think this was a way overpriced, below average eatery. It got three stars here only because the waiters could sing a lick -- some could. There were a few singers you wanted to pay to stop singing. This breakfast deli is in the heart of Times Square -- so great big... More

.This is the restaurant I wanted to review, casual dining, great entertainment, affordable prices and good menu choices. They make their own Sangria wine, also very good. A fun place to eat if you don't mind sitting tight and close up to your neighbor and it isn't quiet .. Would go there again next time I'm in NYC.
