Description: HK is the ultimate experience. Located at the corner of 39th Street and 9th Avenue, it has transformed the local area of Hell's Kitchen from a place of culinary oblivion to a hot spot demanding everyone's attention. The ultra modern minimalist restaurant boasts French Asian cuisine with a unique Mediterranean flair that appeals to anyone's palate. We went here recently for brunch. We ordered the HK eggs benedict and a french toast. Both were ok but not great. The potatoes with the benedict were greasy and lacked flavor. The highlight of the meal was the flavored coffee. Overall the food was fair but the bigger problems were the service and the noise. The waiter disappeared for... More

We stopped in here for Sunday Brunch. We enjoyed their bottomless mimosas. Fun atmosphere, friendly staff. Be sure to have cash because it was a cash only brunch.

Visited the restaurant for dinner on my recent stay in NYC. The restaurant was quiet with few diners. We ordered the Endive Salad Pear that came without the prosciutto so told the server and I guess the cook must have forgotten to add so a plate of the missing prosciutto was brought out to us. We had the Steak Frite... More

Had brunch here on our last day in New York. Didn't realize it was just round the corner from our hotel. As the weather was lovely on that Saturday, the glass sliding doors were opened and it created a lovely spot for people watching. Decor was minimal and white and lots of light bathed the interior which was a nice... More

We visited on spec one lunchtime. Welcomed instantly and shown to a table by friendly staff. Food good but expensive. Glass of Chardonnay did not taste like any other Chardonnay I had ever tasted- ie it was worse. Nice decor and ambience, pity about the wine.

I went on Sunday of labor day weekend with two of my girlfriends, we only had to wait about 5 minutes, than got seated outside as requested. This place was SO MUCH FUN, the unlimited Bellini's and mimosas didn't stop flowing for the 3 and a half hours we were there. The drag queens were so entertaining, and the food... More

Went to hk (in Hell's Kitchen) at the recommendation of the hotel concierge and am glad this became my dinner destination. I ordered salmon farfalle w/a dill & caper cream sauce that was to die for and a side of sautéed kale. My waiter gladly brought some vinegar to season the kale. Prices were extremely reasonable. If I return to... More

This was some of the best food we had while we were in NYC. We went there two times both for lunch or a little later. We received good service and the quality of the food was very good. Within walking distance from the Holiday Inn Express Times Square.

We recently planned a weekend trip to NYC. I read reviews and ask my NY friends for recommendations for Sunday Brunch. I was very excited and looking forward to our experience on Sunday at HK. We arrived a little early, just before Noon, to avoid having to wait. It wasn't too busy at that time and they sat us right... More

Get the bottomless champagne or minosa coupled with the lobster benedict and you're set. Ambience is hip, if not super noisy, but a stint at the bar while we waited for a table followed by an excellent brunch with good service is the way to go. Recommended!
