HK is the ultimate experience. Located at the corner of 39th Street and 9th Avenue, it has transformed the local area of Hell's Kitchen from a place of culinary oblivion to a hot spot demanding everyone's attention. The ultra modern minimalist restaurant boasts French Asian cuisine with a unique Mediterranean flair that appeals to anyone's palate. An elegant streamlined decor of brilliant silver mirrors and glass partitions serves merely as the white plate on which the opulent cuisine is laid before you with colors and flavors that will paint your dining experience in hues you will not find elsewhere in Manhattan.

I really like HK - it is consistently good for brunch and lunch; I can't speak for dinner but I don't believe that experience would be any different. For brunch I would go for the pancakes and bacon. The pc's are perfectly done - not like those diner dark brown slabs - these are light, fluffy... read more

Had a great experience at this restaurant. The staff was extremely helpful in making decisions and made the experience great. We both had the burger and fries which were outstanding. We were also given a free drink with dinner as a promotion they were doing. Great food, great atmosphere, definitely recommend this place to other guests.

We were sat promptly but it took a while to get our orders and longer to get them to to table as the other tables were filling up the "unlimited mimosas" were coming slower... Food was OK at best. They do not take credit cards on the weekends... Really?

Located in close proximity to the flea market we stopped in for Sunday brunch. The music is so loud inside we decided to take a table outside in the sunshine as we were meeting up after five years apart and wanted to hear ourselves think. Service was not great. The wind blew over a glass of water all over me... More

Enjoyable place close to the Hell's Kitchen Flea Market. Busy during the Sunday Brunch, it's well located, with outdoor tables along the sideway, music and attractive young waiters. Average food, vegetables juices. omelettes.

HK Hell's Kitchen is a restaurant that has much to offer. Great location, great atmosphere, and of course great food. With its glass garage-like doors, you'll be in a space lit by natural daylight as you are able to enjoy your food and have a great view of the Meat Market District. This is especially nice when it's too cold... More

We went for a Sunday brunch and the place was packed so we had to wait at the bar (that was crowded as well) for like 30 minutes The Unlimited Bloody Marys option is the best thing. Food is pretty good, but not outstanding. The only problem, as I said before, is the crowd and the noise. Average price.

Food is pretty good, nothing outstanding. I like low lights, but this place is so dark, you wonder if they are hiding something. Tea lights at the table do not help much. We ordered the calamari frites and it was basically deep fried calamari out of a bag. Not homemade. Greasy. The Thai sauce lacked the Thai heat. Then ordered... More

We were staying in New York City, and found this place on Yelp. We were very pleased with our experience. There was an option for Unlimited Bloody Marys, Mimosas, and Bellinis- you can mix them up. Breakfast was yummy. Service was fine. We went early, and the place was very quiet. Bathrooms downstairs.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
