HK is the ultimate experience. Located at the corner of 39th Street and 9th Avenue, it has transformed the local area of Hell's Kitchen from a place of culinary oblivion to a hot spot demanding everyone's attention. The ultra modern minimalist restaurant boasts French Asian cuisine with a unique Mediterranean flair that appeals to anyone's palate. An elegant streamlined decor of brilliant silver mirrors and glass partitions serves merely as the white plate on which the opulent cuisine is laid before you with colors and flavors that will paint your dining experience in hues you will not find elsewhere in Manhattan.

Great flavors!

We got there after looking up online nearby places to eat, it was very late, midnight-ish, and we were the only one there so we got a VIP service ;) The cocktail was fantastic, (Leachy Martini) and the Lobster salad that followed was a festive dish that tasted wonderful. We arrived at about 11am. There were only two sets of customers sitting, so we didn't really expect for an almost minute wait for our coffees (after about 15 mins we were told there was a "hold up" in the kitchen, and a few moments later a member of staff strolled in with a bag of milk.) Fortunately our drinks... More

If you don't mind waiting 45m for bad food then you won't mind this place. Staff don't know what they are doing (although they are friendly enough). Food is expensive, and not particularly good. Nice hangout but I would not recommend.

My Wife, 2 sons and I ate here one evening after passing the restaurant a few times and agreeing it looked very welcoming. We were served by Alexander who was entertaining, very attentive and had a great sense of humour. We had all different dishes including steaks, chicken, meat balls, pasta and salads and each were good sizes without being... More

Sunday brunch was good but nothing extraordinary. My chocolate hazelnut waffle was tasty but dry. The croissant with egg and spinach was better. Nice service though.

We went for a late dinner after seeing a show. Our hotel was just up the block, so the hours and location were great. We waited a while once we seated ourselves (I had to look for a host to make sure we could sit anywhere). We ordered an appetizer (Calamari- I will say it was good, but it was... More

I went to the Hell's Kitchen Flea Market two Saturdays ago. Noting a "cute little bistro" setting outside a non-descript restaurant, it was close and I was getting cold. A young lady welcomed me, and immediately directed me to the bar area as I was solo. I sat next to another woman, also dining solo. For about five minutes I... More

Thank you for your review. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your turkey and brie Sandwich. We don't have any table number 9, 29, 39, 49, 59 etc. in the entire restaurant so that statement can't be accurate. As for the cash only, it is written on our menu. We wanted to address these points in your review.... More

Over priced and mediocre food. Went here with my family during a recent visit to NYC. Stopped by for brunch early enough that we got in without any major difficulty. Coffee was cold when served and refilled....if you could get them to refill, Lobster Benedict and traditional Eggs Benedict had to be sent back because the lobster, poached eggs and... More

found this place by chance when walking along 39 towards Macy's. We ordered brunch and some drinks, the food was chicken, burger and lobster and pretty good. It as a hot day and the repeat water top-ups were much appreciated. Staff were friendly and service efficient, no pressure to move and good value at around $70 for 3

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
