When I first moved to New York I decided that cupcake cafe would be the only people to do my wedding cake and ten years later they did. Gorgeous butter cream and lovely decorations and not too expensive :)

This cafe is in a pretty dull location and is totally understated from the outside, but inside it is a little oasis of calm - with incredible cupcakes that are each a work of art, hidden away in the display case at the back of the cafe. A great place to relax and watch the world go by outside -... More

A quaint little cupcake cafe, friendly staff and great hot chocolate. The cupcakes look amazing. The flowers and frosting look sensational, works of art but they are dry and tasteless. I had 3 cupcakes, all different flavours and they were all the same. A major disappointment! I am a cake decorator and have looked so forward to visiting this bakery,... More

These are darn good cupcakes -- a simple menu selection of chocolate, vanilla and chocolate, vanilla and maple cream frostings. They are beautifully decorated and delicious. The frosting melts in your mouth. With the $3 NY price tag and the deliciousness, I just wish the cupcakes were more generously-sized. The address above is not quite right -- it's at 545... More

Coffee was simply delicious, I had a cappuccino. Nice ambiance, although place itself does not feel very clean. Good service.

Our friend from Phiili guided us here and we were not disappointed. The cupcakes were delicious, especially the peanut butter and walnut, but I expected them to be good in this specialised location. The surprise was the quality of the coffee, which was outstanding. Sensibly sized cup with just the right amount of cream and a taste to die for,... More

Went to this place because it was recommended by Conde Nast Traveler. Was hopeful when I saw the cupcakes as they are beautiful - each type with several different types of flowers on them. We ordered 2 cupcakes - one chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream and one vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream. Both cakes were dry and both "buttercream" frostings... More

My favorite cupcakes in town (I still miss the counter that used to be attached to Books of Wonder on 18th Street.) Rich, beautiful cupcakes. The small one is probably enough, though I almost always go for the large.

I love this place. It is eclectic and comfortable at the same time. I have never seen such beautiful cupcakes they look too good to eat. Once you get past that you find they taste even better than they look... The coffee here could put those chain places out of business. Starbucks should be glad there is only one location!... More

We were told that this cafe had the best coffee in the area, and they were not kidding, it certainly is a bit eccentric and we waited to be served but the coffee was delicious and we had a cake that was too, don't know what it was called but it was not a cup cake. We went back so... More
