Very classically French food here, good food and reasonably priced. In the Theatre district, worth a visit.

I had orange duck and beet salad. The duck was cooked to keep the juices inside. It also had more of a free range instead of factory taste. The beet salad was also very good. I'd return next time I'm in NYC.

This is a French place on Restaurant Row of 46th St. It was very cold outside, and LeRivage proved the ideal place to warm up and have an excellent meal. The duck with orange sauce was excellent, and coq au vin equally fine. Liked the onion soup a lot. They had a nice prix fixe menu that was broad and inclusive... More

Located on Restaurant Row, you cannot beat Le Rivage for price and value. Who else offers you a $29 prix fixe menu in a city where you need to take out a second mortgage to dine out? The food was not a "wow" and the service was on the disinterested side, but it was tasty and cozy. I would definitely... More

Where in New York City can one get a $25 prixe fixe menu with good food? Le Rivage lives up to its reputation with a large selection of entrees, appetizers and desserts. It is a good place if one is planning a theatre excursion since the restaurant location is central.

We have been going to Le Rivage for maybe 10 years. They never disappoint. We went over the holiday to see the Rockefeller Center tree and walk around the city. We were running late and called the restaurant to let them know. They were very polite and said they would hold our table. Our table was waiting when we arrived.... More

I keep coming back to this little gem. My first ever authentic French dining experience some years ago, and I was hooked. Their price fixe lunch $25 and dinner $39 menus are great values. The food is always well-prepared and authentic. Service is attentive, but not rushed - if you want to linger by all means do so. One curious... More

This was my second visit to this delightful restaurant and I was not disappointed! We had reservations for 6:00 and had plenty of time to enjoy our meal before making our 8:00 show. You can't beat the value of the prix fixe menu - appetizer, entree and dessert for $40. My daughter and I had the lobster seafood bisque, beef... More

We had tickets for 7:00 show to see Once. We opted to get reservations at 4:00 which was a great idea. Enjoyed some wonderful French wine, trying the chateauneuf de pape. The three of us enjoyed the escargot, the onion soup, the lobster bisque for appetizers. I loved the beef bourguignon. Peach Melba was a perfect ending to the meal.... More
