I was trying to find last minute reservations in the theater district before seeing the Rockettes. Many places were already booked but I stumbled upon Le Rivage on opentable.com, seen the reviews were pretty good and decided to go. Well where do I start, my husband and I walked in, we were not greeted and there is no stand for... More

This is not a trendy spot, but if you are looking for a good traditional french food and a friendly atmosphere this is a great place. There are many appetizing choices on the three course prix fixe menu, some interesting cocktails, and a nice choice of french house wines. I can recommend the duck entree and the celery root appetizer,... More

Don't be put off by the fact that you walk a while up West 46th Street - it's worth it. The outside looks very ordinary but through the door you enter into a bit of France. Lovely layout of tables, friendly wait staff and a great deal on the 3 course meal. Both the duck and coq au vin as... More

I confess to not having the best luck with Dinner Theater district restaurants. The reviews for Le Rivage were good so we tried it. People were hospitable, the house wine was decent, but the pour was scant. The Pate was not bad. The entrees, sweetbreads were drowned in a bland sauce and the frog legs were something of a breaded... More

We went with some friends who have eaten at this restaurant before. The meals we had included lamp chops and bourguignon both of which were great. For desert we had peach melba which we also enjoyed. We would eat at this restaurant again and recommend it to others We were told that the restaurant is a popular place for meals... More

This is a great place for pre-theater-very convenient in the theater district. They have a nice selection on their menu. The prix fixe menu is reasonable for what you get and is $39 which includes appetizer, entree and dessert. We didn't feel rushed and service was great. The onion soup is really good and the duck and salmon are also... More

We opted for the prefixe diner menu, everyone was very satisfied with there meals. Decent selection of wines. Never felt rushed by the staff even when the dinner crowd began to arrive.

Cosy bistro: has great prices for prix fixee dinners with lots of choice. Located in "restaurant row" and has special prices for dining after 8 p.m.

We wanted the beaujolais nouveau, so we wanted French. Nice authenticity and fixed price menu. I had onion soup and the duck breast, both of which were great (loved the gruyere). wife had salad and sole (salad too garlicky for my tastes). For dessert -- bread pudding (a very different, but good, bread pudding) and I had the tarte maison... More

In the theater district on Restaurant Row, we chose this French a Restaurant for their $39 pre fix theater special. We were in and out in less than an hour. Service fast, food fair. Neither of us finished our first 2 courses. There are many restaurants on the row, will select another next time.
