Needing a pre-theatre meal, my wife and I walked along Restaurant Row and after some mediocre experiences at some of the restaurants there, decided to try Le Rivage and thus time, we were very satisfied. We did not have a reservation but it was just after 5 PM and when we told the hostess that we had theatre at 7... More

Had an early dinner on Sunday evening. We had reservations for 6:30 but arrived at 6:00; they seated us right away. This restaurant is on W46 St. (restaurant row) and caters to pre and after theatre patrons. The ambiance is charming (Edith Piaf music) and the wait staff is gracious and helpful. We had escargots and filet mignon. For desert... More

We just happened upon this restaurant, but La Rivage was so good that we dined there twice in just a few days. The first time, there were just two of us, but the next time, I took 9 others along. The ris-de-veau was especially outstanding! The moules were very good also. Tip: There is a prix fixe menu after 7:30... More

Have eaten at this restaurant with friends and with husband both at lunch and dinner. The food is always good as is the service even when it's packed with women at a Wednesday lunch. I can't even tell you my favorite meal and everything I've ordered has always been excellent.

Three of us have been there twice in our annual visit to Manhattan The food was excellent, especially the duck, trout almondine and the snails We also loved the salad dressing and the sundae with fresh cherries. A bottle of Grave was perfect. I wish that this restaurant were closer. I just love it.

Made a reservation for the after 7:30pm $25.00 Prix Fixe menu. How could you go wrong for a 3 course dinner at a French restaurant for $25.00. The restaurant is very nicely decorated. I found the service to be very good. The 2 waitresses were very pleasant and attentive. I ordered for the appetizer Duck Meat Terrine. It was nicely... More

This restaurant was one of many close to the theater district so it was an easy dinner choice after a Wednesday matinee with friends. There were four of us and we each sampled one another's dishes. The portions were adequate and the food was well prepared. The prix fix dinner menu had numerous choices and was well worth the price.... More

Read reviews from various sites and magazines and made a reservation before our Broadway show. Went with friends and had the price fix dinner. Did not expect to have such an incredible dinner and did not realize we there for over an hour and half as the food was delicious and service was excellent. We tried the scallops, mussels, prosciutto,... More

Been here a few times over the last few years. The food is good not 5 stars but consistent. We always do the prefix menu which covers everything they serve. It is a quiet dining room so you can enjoy a god conversation while you eat. Serve is outstanding and the place is very clean. Great place to go for... More
