Great Dinner

Fixed price menu of $39.00 for dinner but after 7:30 PM if you can wait it drops down to $29.00. You have a choice of many appetizers, entrees and desserts which is always good and usually a special of the day. Country French with excellent wait staff and they even ask if you are going to a 7:00... read more

The food in this restaurant is of good quality. We have spent many years in France and our meal compared favourably with French cuisine. Busy so booking required. The only downside was the compulsory service charge of approximately 20%. Not something you would mind paying for good service and it was a free choice but compulsory?

To celebrate Dad's 80th birthday we wanted a restaurant on or near Restaurant Row for a Saturday at noon. Not so easy for many places in the area as this is when many pre-theater places are at their busiest. We were accommodated with a long table in the middle of the restaurant (out preference), the regular prix fixe menu, and... More

This restaurant had decent food. It was a bit pricey for what you got. Not sure it is truly French cooking. French items on menu but not cooked like you might expect. The waitresses were not very friendly. Probably wouldn't return.

Either at lunch or dinner, a superb French specializing in prix fixe lunches and dinners of appetizer, entree, dessert and coffee, $25 for lunch, $27 for dinner. In the heart of Broadway Theater District.

The fixed price dinners offer a nice range from which to choose. My escargot was delicious followed by duck, then a luscious pear tart. The meal was made complete with an excellent wine menu. The waitstaff was well versed on the menu and were very cognizant of show times as it is very close to all the theaters. Great for a... More

Le Rivage is a wonderful French restaurant which is a 5 to 10 minute walk to any Broadway. We arrived a little late and were planning on going to a show - they were o amazing and ensured we got served quickly and we were still able to make it to show. Not only was it quick but it was... More

My wife and I stopped here for lunch while on vacation in NYC. This was my first French restaurant, and it was excellent. The atmosphere is wonderful, very cozy and warm. The food was fantastic, as was the service. If you're looking for a nice, quite, really great french restaurant, La Rivage is the place.

For a restaurant in Midtown Manhattan's Restaurant Row on 46 St. to offer a three-course lunch for $25 is extraordinary. The wait service was very attentive. The food was very good. We went with a number of friends who ordered a variety of fare from the menu: meat, poultry, and fish. Everyone was happy with the appetizers, entrees, and desserts.... More

Le Rivage is a wonderful French restaurant right in the Broadway theater district on a street known as Restaurant Row. A 5 to 10 minute walk to any Broadway theater. The food is delicious. The duck was cooked perfectly as was the trout (and extremely fresh). The service is very quick (but not rushed) as the restaurant is geared for... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
