Great Theatre menu.

From the moment we walked in the door...WOW. Great space and very european. The Escargot, Pate to start amazing. Crab Bisque was out of this world. Boef bourgeoisie was out of this world. Nice Champagne to boot. Loved it.

The one positive thing about this little restaurant is the service. It is impeccable and friendly. Very attentive. Other than that, it was no great shakes. The salad I had was dry. The duck, which both my husband and I had, was average. If you’re hungry, you can get a meal here for a reasonable price and they will get... More

Price fix menu is great. It includes a wide selection of entrees and portions are on smaller side, however there are three courses. Prices are awesome for NYC and it's in the theater district. They take reservations. Staff is very attentive.

We visited Le Rivage on Restaurant Row before our show. The Prix Fix dinner menu offered numerous choices. The appetizers we chose (salad and soup) were very good. Our entrees (beef bourguignon and Cordon Blue) were variable. Recognize the challenge of having a dining room full of people appear all at once and want to leave all at the same... More

Pleasant quiet cozy atmosphere, very efficient service for pre theater crowd, but with the exception of the lobster bisque, the food was mediocre.

If you are looking for a restaurant in the theatre district with a pre theatre menu, Le Rivage does not disappoint. Lots of choices for the appetizer, entree and dessert. Also, the restaurant has a lovely ambience because it is furnished nicely and the noise level is very low.

A Wonderful French restaurant, couldn't have enjoyed a more sumptuous meal for lunch. Food is great, staff, splendid, always attentive to your needs. Since we were attending a play in the afternoon the staff is very efficient, knows when to serve your lunch, have plenty of time to make the theatre. Very good price too, price fix..large menu, lots of... More

Very nice dinner. Good bistro and nice atmosphere. Worth coming after 7:30 as the prices go down. Food was classic French dishes.Nothing too fancy but very good and tasty

We have dined here five times in the last ten years, the most recent being November 2015. The prix fixe menu has plenty of choices and is a real bargain! Wait staff are attentive, decor is lovely, with fresh flowers .... Hot food served very hot, cold food very cold. On our last visit, my husband and I enjoyed a... More

Met some friends here for dinner... group of 6. We were seated immediately, service was good, food was very good... BUT, make sure you keep track of when you arrive. The menu is Prix-Fixe. Not a problem, but the price changes at 7PM. We had reservations for 7PM, BUT one of my friends arrived about 6:55PM. So, we got the... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
