A lovely meal!

Good service, a comfortable setting and great food combined for a meal to remember! We arrived a bit early, but our table was soon ready. Last week my wife and I dined out at the Le Rivage restaurant located in the Restaurant Row, NYC before a Broadway show. We had a prior reservation at 5.30 which is highly recommended because of the restauarant's popularity. The restaurant is in the theater district and very convenient for a leisurely dinner before a Broadway show. We ordered the... More

The price is just right, and the food is excellent...very good. Old fashioned, but the service is good and everything tastes great.

Great food and intimate space. Great for parties of 2 to 6 (maybe 8 to 10 tops). Wonderful pre-post choice if you are seeing a Broadway show. The prix fix dinner menu is a great value and is what we chose. I do not think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. We all enjoyed our meals; mine... More

We have eaten in Le Rivage many times. It is conveniently located on 46th street ( restaurant row). It is a French restaurant and has an amazing selection of all the favorites of French cooking as well as other dishes. It has a wonderful value pre fixed dinner in which you get an appeteizer, ( tremendous selection of delicious appetizers... More

The Food was MAGNIFICENT!!! The duck was cooked to perfection and the orange sauce was just the right sweet tang and bitterness. The dreamy cream puff which I savored was also elegant and light! I couldn't have enjoyed the entire meal more.

Took mom to NYC for mothers day weekend. We wanted a restaurant that was easy walking distance to theater and from hotel. Reservation at Le Rivage worked out great. It is situated right in "restaurant row" a few minutes walk from Times square. Down a few steps into the restaurant we were greeted promptly and seated. The decor is definitely... More

Le Rivage has a fixed price three course theatre dinner, which allows you to choose from a large variety of dishes for a reasonable price. The restaurant has a very good atmosphere, a comfortable relaxed family style. We enjoyed the food which was good. Have tried this restaurant more than once.

We ate here before going to Radio City Music Hall. We ordered from the prix fixe menu and enjoyed the choices as well as the quality of the food. It was a little like being in Paris as the entrees and flavors transported us across the Atlantic and up the Seine. The onion soup was delicious, the boeuf bourguignon very... More

Had a very lovely meal from the $39 pre-fixe menu. Lots of choices and since this was for 3 courses, good value. The food was delicious. Cosy decor and atmosphere. Marked down to 4 for service. Our server was waiting on too many tables, she was running around all over the place, very busy, but meant a drinks order was... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
