Went here with 11 yr old after Wicked. Food is HORRIBLE, and VERY overpriced, you've been warned. It is a fun place with the wait staff actually good singers. If your going for the entertainment OK, don't expect a good meal. We had 1 salad, 2 Seltzers, grilled cheese, Mac and cheese, sloppy Joe.....$72 before tip, and food was bad.... More

All the wait staff get up and sing in between serving. Lots of talent - probably all have been in musical shows. Regular diner food - attentive waiter, Adam.

Wandered in for a bite to eat not really knowing what to expect. Thought it would be just an American diner (which is what I wanted) but found it had a big surprise. As I sat waiting for my food the staff suddenly erupted into song and singing from the tables and rafters! It was incredible. The performances were spike... More

This diner is a fun place to have breakfast. All the servers are aspiring Broadway stars who sing and dance whilst serving your food, and at the same time raise a little extra money to pay for music/dance tuition. Lovely pancakes with bacon and coffee top-ups throughout your entertaining visit. Love it!

Ok, I get it. The waiters sing. But out of maybe 10 I heard, only 3 were memorable. A few were NOT good. It is a fun place though but the food wasn't great. I had a milkshake and a cheesesteak with fries. Fries were hardly hot and the cheesesteak was HUGE. The meat looked like steakums from the supermarket.... More

I had a great time at Ellen's Stardust Diner. It is an experience not to be missed. From reading previous reviews on Trip Advisor that the food is expensive and not very good I decided to take the advise and order a hot fudge Sundae Milkshake $7.95 (sooo good, reminded me of an old fashioned milkshake) and Sweet Potato Fries... first i will start with the positives...having just returned from New York on 17th July ..staff were very good and the singing and entertainment was excellent...we especially enjoyed the version of 'let it go' from frozen, with the 'flying ice' straws....i can also see why 16 of the waiters/waitresses were picked in the last year for broadway musicals as all had... We went for dinner, this was my second time, the place is always packed but I have not waited more than 5 minutes for a table. The food is average diner food, the prices are what you expect for average food in the city. The singing wait staff are the reason you want to go there! These folks are hard... More

This restaurant is charming, fun and makes you want to sing along. The wait staff keeps up a virtually nonstop performance of show tunes and rock hits. From "waterfalls" by TLC to broadway ballads, the wait staff sing their hearts out at the same time they deliver food and checks. The food is diverse, kind of bland but you are... More
