The breakfast was ok but the service was superb and the ambience with the performances was truly something not to be missed.

We came here for a meal when staying in New York on our honeymoon. The diner featured on a BBC programme before we came which is how we know about it. The food was amazing, the staff were friendly and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was the best we have ever experienced at a restaurant. The staff sing live... More

Went for lunch on Saturday. Very busy. Singers really entertaining and excellent quality. They will all be snapped up on Broadway soon. Food average at best. Worth a visit for the whole experience.

Ate here on our last night in New York after recommendations from friends at home and it definitely didn't disappoint. All three of us ordered the steak and the meals were huge, great value for money. Great service, great atmosphere and all in all a great evening, thank you to all staff at Ellen's.

We went in at 4.30pm to beat the crowds, before heading to a show. The food was fine, fairly standard greasy diner food. But you don't go for the food, you go for the singers and we were not disappointed. These people are true Broadway performers and every single one was top class. The host was funny too. Don't miss... Went here for dinner as it was close to our hotel. It was great - singing wait staff who were really good and in touch with their audience. I had cottage pie and my husband had veggie focaccia which was good and reasonably priced. An enjoyable experience

Food was average, and a bit expensive for lunch, but the talented waitresses and waiters were wonderful. It was a lot of fun, if very noisy; we could hardly hear each other speak. You go there for the talent and because it's different, not for the food, but the milkshakes were wonderful.

Ellen's stardust diner was amazing, it's the staff that make it amazing, they all deserve to be on broadway. The food however is just ok but don't let this put you off as the entertainment is great it's a free show by very talented entertainers.

Ellen's Stardust Diner was great fun! We were recommended this restaurant by a friend and decided to go there for breakfast. The staff are simply wonderful. Aspiring Broadway stars and they sung all morning long, a variety of Broadway and musical classics. Our particular waitress was brilliant. The food was adequate. I had Nutella French toast and my partner had... More

We visited for breakfast and it was like a scene from Glee with waitresses signing to backing tracks and walking along the tops of the diner seats whilst you ate! Good food, amazing experience!
