Food is average, but the show makes it special

Went there for breakfast, which was just ok, and the place is a bit tight. But the staff singing was wonderful, felt like inside a Broadway theater. It is worth just to see the show!

This is a unique fun place. After seeing the immense que to get a table in the evening we went for breakfast and got a table straight away. The food is good but the servers are spectacular their performances were better than the ones we saw in a show on Broadway! It is loud but so much fun. We went... More

The food is standard US fayre with a good choice. What people come here for however is the staff. All have amazing voices and sing throughout the meal. On our visit there were two who performed a duet who were absolutely amazing. Not surprising many leave for Broadway shows and tours. We had to queue to get in for dinner,... More

Much has been written about the Stardust Diner. Just to repeat, it's a diner staffed by waiters and waitresses who are aspiring Broadway actors and they take turns singing throughout your meal. You'll hear oldies, country/western, classics...yup, all kinds of music. If you just HAVE to know about the food, my wife, daughter and I went for breakfast (no line... More

What an amazing truly American style diner! All the staff were welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere was buzzing! The staff are all Broadway trainees and sing and dance throughout your meal! There are big typical American meals and are what I would say are gut busters! We went twice the first time was the weekend and so we had... More

The overall ambiance is crowded and the singing and music is really loud. Much too loud after a late night of bar hopping as we soon discovered. The food was just okay and my husband did not like his pancakes. He said they were dense and tasteless. My omelette was ok but definitely overpriced. it cost us $40 for two... More

We went to Ellen's after a Broadway show and were pleasantly surprised that there were no lines to get in consdering it was 11pm on a Friday night. The food was ok, edible but nothing special. The servers put on a good show but the place emptied quite quickly and sort of lost the atmosphere. Would not say it was... More

After having this place recommended multiple times, we were very excited to try it. Food was mediocre at best. Seemed like it was frozen food prepped to be served- and it was expensive! We spent more at lunch here than we did at an amazing Italian restaurant for dinner the night before. Service was ok. I could have overlooked all... More

We'd been recommended by a friend but got there and saw a large queue. We joined anyway and were pleasantly surprised at how quickly it went. Well it was worth the queue and clear to see why there was one! Great entertainment while you eat. The waiters/waitresses all sing and dance whilst serving and it's pretty remarkable. We went twice... More
