If you want a show, this is the place to go. I had the Dean Martin (Spaghetti and meatballs)...Not so good. However, if you are wanting entertainment on the cheap....order a sundae and sit back and enjoy the show! This place is great, i had a 3 scoop ice cream milkshake & cake that was to die for ! Mind its not cheap, but you have the added bonus that the staff sing you songs for free on Broadway !

Ellen stardust is a huge tourist trap, no wonder since it's so close to Times Square and broadway. The food is crap. Soggy French fries/potatoes and boring burgers. The price is high for [--] food. We tried twice to eat here on Saturday - line was very very long - so plan ahead. Came back for a late lunch on Sunday - perfect! Great entertainment, good service and so so food, but you go to this place for the entertainment!

Ellen's Stardust Diner is a slightly overpriced and super crowded 50's diner with aspiring broadway stars serving food while singing. The food is standard fare, and the waitstaff are all really nice. I have been a few times and have a combination of outstanding, to mediocre servers, but overall I still enjoy the experience. Every few songs they come around...

Our first impression of Ellen's was it was a diner and yes it is but what a diner. The food is not fabulous, the seating is not plush and the waiters do not wear fancy outfits but what a great place to go for lunch or dinner. Good diner fare with entertainment thrown in by the wait staff. I've eaten there several times now and it really never disappoints. The PBJ stuffed French Toast is not to be missed.
