You don't go to Ellen's Stardust Diner for the food! It is quite bad and I think all of it came from the microwave. However, I do recommend going because the staff is wonderful. They sing amazingly well and it is quite entertaining. Perhaps go for dessert!

We went for Breakfast as the ques before were too big to get in for dinner, the breakfast menu very basic and very little if a veggy. However you don't go there for the food. The staff are very talented and very entertaining. I would recommend a visit but think its more of an evening place as people were more... More

I was really looking forward to going to this diner. The restaurant wasn't full when we got in, yet we were put upstairs. Looking down on the entertainment. We felt we were rushed with our dinner. The singing was excellent, but the constant asking to put money in the bucket they were passing round to help with their singing lessons,... More

A terrific place to visit and have a good meal in New York. The singers are great and really get the diners involved. There was a large selection of meals and when it came the food was plentiful, well presented and hot. We visited on a Monday evening and there wasn't a line waiting for a table as happens later... The food is disgusting. Be honest: the only reason this is famous is because of the name, location, and the singing wait staff. Chicken tenders (hard to screw up) were processed McDonald's chicken nugget material. Find somewhere else famous to eat.

omg I loved this place!! Stumbled across it online when I was looking for an All American Diner to take my friend to. Who knew that it was so entertaining. If your a music theatre fan or dont mind people breaking into random song whilst they are serving you dinner, then this is the place for you! Songs were sung... More

We have been wanting to see what this place is all about for a few years now. The line is always around the block. We walked by and the line was only a few parties deep so we decided to give it a shot. We got in and seated in no time. It was the most organized process I've ever... More

We thoroughly enjoyed this experience. The entertainment provided by the wait staff was great. One of the performers "gave Josh Groban a run for the money" when he sang "You Raise Me Up" and the couple who performed the "Grease" song was great! The food and service was great. Would highly recommend.

Correct food, overpriced but it's Beoadway! A good tasty variety of classics and old fashioned meals. Don't go there for a quiet dinner, the concept is to support future actors, dancers and singers that look for a role in the multiple Musicals of Broadway, each of them turn by turn will sing and the dollars you put in the bucket...
