We stood in line for quite some time and were a bit annoyed when they would come out and ask for parties of 6 or 2 [we were a party of four] so many people behind us were allowed to go in. This annoyed us and the people around us. Once we got in, we were sat above and in... More

I have eaten here before but I wanted to share the experience with my sisters. We were celebrating our sister's 50th BD before going on to Wicked. Food and entertainment were great and we got a BD serenade.

My friend's daughter wanted to go here. It was a fun place. Expensive milk shakes( 7.95) but it is NYC and the atmosphere with the waiters/waitresses was great. Many of them already perform on Broadway, and sing throughout the night. The wait can be long but we only waited about 20 minutes on Sunday night. Our table was not the... More

Ellen's Stardust is a unique experience with continual live performances from the staff. Even some of the guests get involved. However, the food and service did not match up to the atmosphere. Waited outside in line for a good time before getting seated and then the service itself was slow. The waiters seemed more concerned about who was singing then... More

I have no idea why you would wait in line for this restaurant. It is dirty, tables are too close together, food is cold, milkshakes are $7.95. I ordered spaghetti and the sauce had chunks of raw garlic in it, the meatballs didn't even taste like beef. very disappointed, won't be back. Worst $90 we spent. Singers are very good... More

We decided to try Ellen's for breakfast, knowing that it would not be as crowded as other parts of the day. The entertainment was fantastic and all of the waitstaff should be on Broadway. I ordered and bagel sandwich and for some reason found the egg to be totally inedible.

Food is decent (not amazing), but the main reason for going here is the broadway atmosphere. Its just so different and although this is a bit cheesey and made for tourists, you will really feel like New York is settling in to your psyche. Well worth it I would say. Different to anything else and memorable. Every time I go... More

Fun little café. The servers are aspiring Broadway performers and entertain you with songs the whole time. Food was good and their milkshakes were INCREDIBLE.

A very busy, packed diner where the waiters both serve and sing to you. The atmosphere is what makes this place as one after another the waiters get up and sing classic songs from stage and film. Food is of good quality, portions are average, but the price is a bit steep. I guess you are paying for the location... More
