For me and my husband, who live in France this kind of dinner while being served by waiters and waitresses lovely, who sing wonderfully we've never seen this before. Bravo, the food is excellent and varied .Don't out of New York, without imperatively have at least once eat at Ellen's Stardust Diner

Just off Times Square, you may have to queue to get a table. Food is ok, but you come here to see and hear the waiting staff. we visited for breakfast and the staff took it in turns to sing various types of songs. Some of the staff will stand on the tables and others are singing whilst serving coffee... More

My kids absolutely loved this diner. It was loud, fun & they could be as loud as they wanted. The waiter was great. Food was great- we had mac n cheese, reuben sandwich, chicken pot pie & corned beef sandwich. Portions were big. We sat upstairs and had a great view! We didn't have to wait for a table. It... More

Had been given mixed reports before visiting, but was so glad we went. We took our children (3,5,8) and they absolutely loved it. It is LOUD, so def not one for anyone who wants a quiet, relaxed meal. The standard of the singing is superb, I mean, really superb. Every singer was excellent they sang a mixture of show tunes and... More

Really amazing place in the heart of the city - special with kids and musical lovers - possible line at the entrance but try to ask for a table in a first row (up or downstairs)!!

waiters were horrible. Too busy waiting for their next song to sing or act to perform. Food was overpriced and barely edible. Waste of time and money

Visited numerous times when in New York as the atmosphere is great. Food basic but good quality with big portions, just what you need to start the day.The staff are very talented looking for the breakthrough to a Broadway show. Staff have made this short trip, every hour a collection for singing and acting lessons, the staff perform as you... More

We decided to try this diner after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor and what a great experience! We didn't queue at all, ate at 3pm, we enjoyed a good meal, typical diner food but well cooked, I had a great burger cooked rare ( why can't I get a burger cooked rare in the UK?) but the real fun...
