Not that much to say about this Italian restaurant. The food is OK. Service fine. But you will receive nothing out of the ordinary. Prices are somewhat high considering the US tipping practice.

We went to Murano Ristorante on a weekday for lunch. The food was good enough. If you want a sit down Italian restaurant, it is okay. There are better Italian restaurants around. The service was very good and the food arrived promptly, important for a business day lunch. A major disappointment was that the restaurant was very noisy with poor... More

Murano Ristorante is located on 36th between 7th and 8th Aves. If you're in the area and are dead set on Italian, its an average stop. I was there during Feb, 2012 for a large corporate dinner. I think the size of our party (12 people) may have been a bit much for the wait staff and the kitchen. The... More

I decide to have dinner here because I was going to a WWE event up the street at MSG. We ordered the calamari, which we found to be rubbery. We both had the penne sausage dish which was very good. The service was good and fast.

I had roasted gnocchi and shrimp with Oven Dried Plum Tomatoes, Onions, Mushrooms, Arugula and White Wine 21.95 and it was really good. My friend had a special that was Risotto with mushrooms, peas, broccoli rabe and it was good too. Lentil soup was good and the cheese cake was good too. I'd suggest making reservations but we went at... More

This is always a restaurant you can depend on. Great food, nice atmosphere, clean modern design, wonderful waitstaff and a good wine list. I have been going to this restaurant for several years now and I love it. It is so convenient to everything but tucked off the avenues that it seems like a real find. They do a great... More

We came across this restaurant. We were on a weekend bus tour. We were walking downtown NY, looking for a good place to sit down and eat, after a long day of in the bus. We were 3 couples. We all took different plates and there were all extremely good. Fresh made pasta, fresh made tomato sauce, fresh hot bread,... More

We came in bedraggled, coming out of the rain on a Monday evening around 7pm. There were only a few tables of customers besides ourselves. The food was so very, very fresh & delicious! I had the angel hair pasta with dried plum tomatoes, olive oil & garlic. My husband had the pasta with proscuitto. Both were generous helpings. The... More
