Let me start by saying that we had eaten here two years ago and as the meal was good we decided to come back. As all travellers do, we checked the online restaurant reviews and saw that the service was the issue with most reviewers. We went anyway based on our last experience. If you go for the All You... Food and staff were great although a bit pricey for what you get but everything is in this area. Try the Brazilian dishes!

We were staying at President Hotel, on 48th Street, in New York, and could never imagine there was a brazilian restaurant so near, on 8th Ave. We went there for lunch and dinner as well. Very good food. My wife and I recommend it.

I have never eaten Braziilan fare before so this was new to me. Wow, delicious. Everything I had from the soup to the main course was exceptional.

After wandering by a bunch of other places around Happy Hour -- where the music was pounding, and the noise level ridiculous --- we happened upon the Brazil Grill, where there was live guitar jazz. Very nice / we enjoyed our drinks at the bar while we relaxed, and were actually able to hear each other without yelling. I cannot... More

We should have done the all you can eat, but opted to just do ala carte. Food was tasty. Service was ok.

Service was SUPER slow. Dirty plates left on the table... Water replenished once during 90 minute visit. Barely saw our waiter...mostly other staff. Sangria was good.... Had to pour ourselves because waiter dropped it off at our table and had to rush over to another table for whatever reason. Food was okay....meat was shoe leather. The only time waiter was... More

We stopped by for drinks during an evening roaming 8 Av through Hell's Kitchen. The drinks are expertly made and served. There was a trobadour playing South American Music, very nice. Prices were OK, although I found the preset 15% tip when using a credit card slightly odd. I accept that tipping is customary in America, but it seems sort... More

Due to traffic, we arrived at 7:00 PM for a 6:00 PM reservation. they got us right in. I advised the waitress that we had to make an 8:00 show and she said no problem. We ordered right away and they got the food to us in 15 to 20 minutes. We even had time for desert. The steaks were... More

We went here after a show (Avenue Q which was great). We had not seen the reviews, just stumbled upon this place after the show. Not really sure how authentic this place is either. The bread was very sweet, the steak was a bit tough, is it supposed to be, I'd be surprised! The white wine was not very cold.... More
