My Favourite Restaurant In The World!

I visited this restaurant in February 2007 as part of a group of friends and I have to say to date, this is the best restaurant along with Gobi's that I have ever eaten in. That is saying something really as its now been 7 years and I am yet to find the equivalent in the UK. Can you please... read more

It is now out of business. It used to be one of the best in the city, but it was declining in recent years & now it is only an empty storefront. Sad to see it go...

As a vegan I have enjoyed visiting this restaurant over the past few years when visiting the city. Their 'Rose Petals' dish with tofu skins is lovely and very different to anything I can get in the UK. Unfortunately, when visiting this week (9/15) I discovered that the restaurant is in the process of converting to an Italian restaurant (Zen... More

This place has gotten some seriously mediocre reviews, but we really enjoyed it. There was only one guy working the day we showed up, but he still managed to provide us with really good service. We were traveling with my wife's vegetarian family from England, and they really enjoyed it as well. The 19-year-old (who doesn't like ANYTHING) thought it... More

We were at a conference in NY and this restaurant was recommended to us because it was a nearby vegetarian restaurant. We were looking forward to a meal that would make the vegetables shine. This restaurant does not do that. The food is not bad. But most of the dishes are 'fake meat'. The menu contains references to meat and... More

Our family visited zen palate near Times Square this week for dinner. We are vegan and thought to try this place while in the city. We ordered several things from the menu - the food was pretty mediocre. I have been to several vegan places before and this one did not really offer any tastes that would make me want... More

Not something that you will see at the normal Americanized Asian restaurants. Interesting meals that had our taste buds guessing. If you like interesting dishes, this could be your place.

Very good and very reasonable . A seperate gluten free menu and a waiter who saw that soy sauce came out and without me saying anything took it back for a gluten free sauce. The front wall slides back and was great for enjoying the sights and sounds. Appetizer and meal for under $15. I will go again..

As a longtime vegetarian and a senior with blood pressure issues, I always look for creative meals minus the salt found in most restaurant meals. The waiter here was extremely patient and his recommendations were right on. I had sautéed dumplings with peanut sauce, and perfectly cooked steamed veggies, which I also enjoyed the peanut sauce with. My plate was... More

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
