Description: It was in 1980, when Chef-Owner Mr. Costas Spiliadis opened the first...
It was in 1980, when Chef-Owner Mr. Costas Spiliadis opened the first Estiatorio Milos on Park Avenue, Montreal. The reason seemed obvious to him: the need to elevate the sophistication of Greek cuisine abroad far away from its stereotyped forklorization. 'I wanted to change what people thought about Greek cuisine, make sure it's being appreciated and awarded with its rightful place on an international level!' As a small restaurant, Milos gained the trust of the Montrealers in no time. The menu being always simple and impeccably fresh, drew the attention of the media and food critics from around the world. NY Post has triumphly started that 'Milos fish could only be fresher if it swam to your plate!' What was the secret that made Milos stand out? Its focus in finding the purest Mediterranean products and cooking with the freshest ingredients.Through 35 years of intensive research, we have managed to build lasting relationships with growers and small-scale fisheries at the shores of Greece, Morocco, Tunisia and Portugal, flying in our fish and seafood daily by plane! Milos has since then taken the world by strom and opened in 1997 in NYC, in 2004 in Athens,in 2010 at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas and in 2012 in Miami Beach and in 2015 in London! We invite you to live the Milos experience and celebrate with us our 35th year anniversary!

Light and fresh seafood

Milos is awesome Greek fare with great service. I always get the loup de mer, which never disappoints. The Milos Special (that tower of tempura vegetables is a wonder to see) and octopus starter are also yummy. I thought the walnut cake was only okay.

Polite. courteous and articulate with a wide selection of foods and suggesteted preparations. It is a unique place where you actually pick the fish you are going have prepared.

Extremely Expensive, good but not the Best! So many waiters, confusing, also so Crowded can hardly hear yourself Talk! This is off season slightly for them, due to New Yorkers out of Town, but no excuse, way too high priced! $200 for one appetizer shared & one Entree Shared, Fish "flown in from Greece" Give me a break! nothing special, if... Anniversary dinner in style, first class. I have been here before, the food is expertly cooked. Fish can't get any fresher. You are getting the best of Greece. The best service, wonderful Chefs, classy atmosphere. It is on the pricey side but you must pay for the best of everything..

Incredible, fresh fish - remarkable choices. The atmosphere, the food, the wine, makes you dream of being in Greece. This is a terrific restaurant. The wait staff is top notch and very helpful in guiding the many choices. I enjoyed a mouth watering snapper and one of the best tomato salads I have ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant,... Came here for a quick lunch. Service was ok, not great but friendly. Ordered set lunch menu. All very tasty and fresh but it is too expensive. Good setting and recommended for biz lunch. Apparently dinner service is even more overpriced. Will only return for business lunch.

You will eat a grear selection of greek food but in general great seafood. Location is the best, the bar is always full of people. Oysters are always good. Tuna steak is delicious as well the lobster. Please expect to pay a lot of money for a dinner.

The restaurant is beautiful, the people are very nice and the food excellent. You go and choose the fish or seafood you will eat. You have a large choice and so fresh the fish is still alive. The side dishes are very good. The asparagus were perfectly cooked. Of course you have to reserve. Contrarily to what I had been... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
