It was in 1980, when Chef-Owner Mr. Costas Spiliadis opened the first Estiatorio Milos on Park Avenue, Montreal. The reason seemed obvious to him: the need to elevate the sophistication of Greek cuisine abroad far away from its stereotyped forklorization. 'I wanted to change what people thought about Greek cuisine, make sure it's being appreciated and awarded with its rightful place on an international level!' As a small restaurant, Milos gained the trust of the Montrealers in no time. The menu being always simple and impeccably fresh, drew the attention of the media and food critics from around the world. NY Post has triumphly started that 'Milos fish could only be fresher if it swam to your plate!' What was the secret that made Milos stand out? Its focus in finding the purest Mediterranean products and cooking with the freshest ingredients.Through 35 years of intensive research, we have managed to build lasting relationships with growers and small-scale fisheries at the shores of Greece, Morocco, Tunisia and Portugal, flying in our fish and seafood daily by plane! Milos has since then taken the world by strom and opened in 1997 in NYC, in 2004 in Athens,in 2010 at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas and in 2012 in Miami Beach and in 2015 in London! We invite you to live the Milos experience and celebrate with us our 35th year anniversary!

Outstanding food and service, great ambiance and unforgettable evening for our international family

We had an amazing dinner here to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Her husband knows the restaurant well and arranged ahead off time the food and the service for our large table seating 8 adults and 3 children. He selected all the fish courses from the freshest offerings on the ice display. The... read more

Four of us for the Prix Fixe menu before a play on our first visit to NYC. Thrilling to be able to sit and watch all the action. The food was all amazing. The decor is stunning. So glad we chose Milos for one of our dinners.

This is a very classy high end restaurant with beautiful Greek food and decoration. The way they pull this off when it's in the ground floor of an office block is amazing. The fish are truly the freshest and outstanding It is very expensive. An offer or pre or post theatre cheaper menu would be an excellent way to sample... More

Outstanding fish restaurant. You pick your own fish like if you were in the market. Fish from all over the world. I love mine simple, grilled and they cook it to perfection. Salads are amazing and the service is excellent. Every time I'm in NY this is a must. Could be my fave seafood ever!

We were a party of four people dining before we went to a Broadway play. Milo's offered a special $49 pre-theatre menu that was outstanding in the choices and the delicious items served. All portions were very generous and the service was fantastic. As we sat down, our wait person asked what time our play started and the meal progressed... More

We had the bargain brunch, but it was wonderful: sushi grade grilled octopus, and wild salmon. They had many wines by the glass. The service was great. We hope to go again soon

Beautiful decor here and a WOW display of fresh seafood that displays lobster, fishes, etc. You can pick your dinner from here! High ceilings give it a grand feel. The wine was superb; we had a wonderful Brunello. Of course we had the amazing octopus. It was the best I've ever tasted. We asked the waiter to select our fish... More

We took our son there for his birthday at lunchtime. The place was absolutely packed, mostly with business people. However, they had a very reasonable price-fixed lunch with excellent options which we all had. It actually included a whole fish which was one of the better ones we have had in awhile. And the service could not have been better.... More

Fast and friendly service. You have the choice between a large variation of fresh fish, mussels and crabs as well as classic greek dishes. The wine menu lists a lot of the best greek wines available. All this comes comes at a high but reasonable prices. The only complaint I have to make: the restaurant is loud and most times... More
