It was in 1980, when Chef-Owner Mr. Costas Spiliadis opened the first Estiatorio Milos on Park Avenue, Montreal. The reason seemed obvious to him: the need to elevate the sophistication of Greek cuisine abroad far away from its stereotyped forklorization. 'I wanted to change what people thought about Greek cuisine, make sure it's being appreciated and awarded with its rightful place on an international level!' As a small restaurant, Milos gained the trust of the Montrealers in no time. The menu being always simple and impeccably fresh, drew the attention of the media and food critics from around the world. NY Post has triumphly started that 'Milos fish could only be fresher if it swam to your plate!' What was the secret that made Milos stand out? Its focus in finding the purest Mediterranean products and cooking with the freshest ingredients.Through 35 years of intensive research, we have managed to build lasting relationships with growers and small-scale fisheries at the shores of Greece, Morocco, Tunisia and Portugal, flying in our fish and seafood daily by plane! Milos has since then taken the world by strom and opened in 1997 in NYC, in 2004 in Athens,in 2010 at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas and in 2012 in Miami Beach and in 2015 in London! We invite you to live the Milos experience and celebrate with us our 35th year anniversary!

We took our son there for his birthday at lunchtime. The place was absolutely packed, mostly with business people. However, they had a very reasonable price-fixed lunch with excellent options which we all had. It actually included a whole fish which was one of the better ones we have had in awhile. And the service could not have been better.... More

Fast and friendly service. You have the choice between a large variation of fresh fish, mussels and crabs as well as classic greek dishes. The wine menu lists a lot of the best greek wines available. All this comes comes at a high but reasonable prices. The only complaint I have to make: the restaurant is loud and most times... More

This was my second time to Milos, the first being nearly 2 years ago....obviously, it has become one of the "in places" in the mean time. Being in NY on business, I organised a dinner with 5 colleagues and customers for 8pm on a Wednesday. After our party arrived on time, we were asked to wait until our table became... More

A truly outstanding meal at an unbeatable price. We did the Pre/Post Dinner Pre Fixe priced at $49 for 4 courses - incredible! I had the grilled octopus, tomato salad, Loup de Mer and Walnut Cake. Everything was delicious, expertly crafted and prepared. The fish was so fresh. Our waiter allowed a few wine tastings so we could pick the... More

We keep on going back to this excellent Mid Town Greek fish restaurant. Fresh fish which you can view on a huge slab. You do need to discuss the prices and what you will actually expect to pay as it can get very expensive very quickly. The pre theatre menu is still one of the best deals you can get... More

We have been here many times, this is a must; the decor, the food and the vibe are all worth the wait and the prices. Fresh food flawlessly prepared. Branzino of course!

I came here with my family on a Sunday night and they were able to sit us right away with no reservation, which was great. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great and it was busy. I had the lamb and it was amazing! The rest of my family had the calamari and sashimi tuna. They all said it was... More

We are here after the theater. They had a great 4 course prix-fix option (we did not choose). The food and service are excellent. We shared three appetizers, which they brought out at different times, so it wasn't too much food at once. Our waiter was fantastic. Try the Greek Ceviche- divine.

We've eaten at this restaurant several times -- it's very noisy, busy and bustling. It's not like any restaurant we've experienced in Greece, but the food is good and the service attentive. The tab will be quite pricy--for example $32 for a traditional Greek salad!!!! If you are into people watching, we've spotted a celebrity there every visit and the... More

Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
