Whaaaaa!! I don't know the details, other than it's closing. Cool little spot that had tons of old NYC character. When I go back, it's not going to be the same. Goodbye old friend.

It's a busy place. Servers don't have time for you. You somewhat feel ignored. Food arrives quickly and hot. Coffee just ok. You're given your bill and you leave. The perfect place for breakfast in New York. Loved it

Service is really fast. The waitresses were quite friendly, but I couldn't say the same about the waiters. The food was OK. If you like oats, go for the oats with the banana. You'll be full until lunch for sure.

We stayed at the Edison Hotel and might never have thought to eat at the Cafe Edison otherwise. It was truly a great find for our group of 5. The breakfasts were brought out very quickly but were delicious and made properly to order each morning. The sandwiches and salads on the deli menu were all good choices. Especially the... More

We traveled with frequent NYC travelers, and this hotel/restaurant was highly recommended. Nice, full breakfast to start the day. Nice atmosphere, good service, hot and delicious food.

The food and service is excellent. It's a convenient place to eat for the guests that stay in the hotel and for the people that are in the area. Not complaints whatsoever.

Food was average. Service is rushed. We had breakfast there-- good-sized proportions. We ordered the specials. The messy handwritten bill was confusing. We were charged an extra $2.45 ! for our coffee refills and the tip was included on the bill. There is nothing mentioned on the menu that service is included and the waitress made no mention of it.... More

This Café is located right next to the Hotel Edison, you can enter it from the hotel lobby. Prices are reasonable by New York standards. Our bill included tip and there was no option if service was poor. Service is average in terms of attentiveness but is great in terms of speed. We felt rushed entire meal, with food served... More
