This classic cafe has a perfect NYC vibe. Everything is efficient and done in a "New York Mimute." Know what you want to order, be nice, and you will be looking and living like a local. The blinz are worth the wait. I hear they may be losing their lease. Sad. I'm glad I have had the opportunity to eat... More

It's true. My husband and I are new to cafe Edison and have fallen head over heels. Each time we go we stuff our selves to the gills and can't seem to spend more than $30. The deli sandwiches are delicious int he simplicity, so far we've tried and loved both the Reuben and the Brisket. Their cheese blintzes are... More

Very convenient being next to hotel, good service in the mornings, not bad prices for location, evening service was hit and miss

The food was very reasonably priced. American fare food. Served breakfast at any time as well which my kids loved. The food was just ok. Nothing really special. More for celebrity sightings!!

We were awake super early due to jet leg so made our way here around 8am, so glad we did by 8.20 there was a long queue. The service was polite and swift, the breakfast was on the table about 30 seconds after ordering! The eggs benedict was delicious, the pancakes all looked great. Really reasonably priced. Good locaton

We were a party of 6, seated immediately. Super fast service, like I have never seen before. Every food item we had was great. Prices were good when you ordered a combo including coffee and juice. It says this place is going out of business, which is a shame.

Food was delicious and came exceptionally fast! There was a rumor that this place was going to shut down. I sure hope not. I love it 100%

We ate here on a Saturday night before seeing a Broadway show. We were in a hurry and came up to this place. The menu had many choices, but the food was tasteless, unoriginal, and borderline terrible. The prices weren't cheap, especially for what we received. I had the eggs Benedict and the hollandaise sauce was curdled - the fries... More

The Cafe is in the Edison Hotel building on 47th street 100 yards from Broadway. The Cafe is a mid-town landmark for over 30 years. Good affordable breakfasts and lunches. Go out to dinner. Cafe Edison is being closed by the landlord at the end of December.

Overpriced. average menu. Expected better fare for such a nice hotel. Wait for ages to be seated and to get some attention. Service very "offish" and "abrupt". A bit un American as service generally in New York is outstanding.
