So few reviews. Was skeptical before we went in. Totally blown away by the food. Our server was very helpful in suggestions to bring about a very tasty authentic Greek food experience.

I am never disappointed when I come to Nick's. We live in the hood and if we can't decide where to go, we always come to Nick's. It's a great value and the food is tasty and filling. The service is always spot on but the atmosphere is nothing special. RECS: Branzino, Moussaka, Grape Leaves

The food was authentic and tasted very good. Also, the service was great and quick! The owner was very friendly and overall, it was just a fun place to eat at!

I went to Uncle Nick's with a friend last week and ordered the small greek salad (split between the two of us), grilled octopus appetizer (split between the two of us) and we each ordered the grilled flounder. Everything was absolutely perfect. Washed it down with an inexpensive but delicious bottle of greek white wine (Santorni). Who could ask for... More

My wife and I were lamenting that we haven't been to uncle Nick's For several years. The other night we happened to be in the neighborhood with friends and we told him we'd love to go there because we always had such great food. Alas it turned out to be very bad food. We were there early on a Sunday... More

I loved this place the last time I visited NYC, and I loved it again this time. Affordable, with great food, and friendly, speedy service, it's a great option for pre-theatre dining. I didn't have anything fancy, just a big Greek salad (easily enough for two) with hummus and pita, washed down with a nice Greek red wine. It completely... More

I love this place. Although it has become a tourist attraction and the lines are longer after 11:30 AM, its worth it. I prefer the one on 43rd street as I work near that place. Although the burgers are small they are juicy. I can eat two at a time :). Their shakes are good too.

We visited with a party of 11 the Friday after Christmas. Our table was ready when we arrived and the restaurant was crowded. Despite the crowd, the service was fairly good. We had 2 large Greek salads which were tasty. The children had the french fried potatoes, the fried cheese and the ribs all of which they enjoyed. One person... More

This was our second visit to Uncle Nick's - the last about 5 years ago. I am happy to report it is as good as ever. The noise level seems to have increased but the food is still yummy. We started with my favorite appetizer, the saganaki-tiri, the flaming cheese. Heavenly and of course a theatrical choice. We also tried... More

Order the skewered lamb. It was served atop a bed of light fluffy rice (or pilaf). The rice was fluffy, light full of flavor and the lamb well marinated, tasty and a lovely pink in the middle. Spot on recommendation on a full bodied red wine. Soft and moist meatballs. The chicken soup was a tad salty but overall wonderful... More
