We dropped in for a quick bite to Uncle Nicks...the food was wonderful, very fresh and tasty. The service was good also....if you are a greek food lover, then I would suggest you give them a try. The prices are reasonable and I think you will leave happy and full!

Portions were incredible size-they might want to consider trimming them to reduce waste! Food was good and although my lamb started a little tough, it was actually very good once I got to the middle. My wife bit into a small piece of metal near the end of her meal. No damage-close call, and we simply showed it to the... More

My extended family all met to enjoy dinner together and we did. I can't say the service was the best, but there were 10 of us, so we did add a bit to the confusion. Everyone enjoyed their food--many different choices. I'm not an aficionado of Greek food, but I was satisfied. My niece, who is a Greek food lover... More

We went on a Sunday evening and had a wonderful time. We haven't been here for almost 5 years, but the food and service were better than ever. The RED SNAPPER WAS PERFECT. The PITA is the best we ever had. The Salads were authentic and delicious . The waitstaff was very friendly and helpfull. I hope to go more... More

Best Greek food since I visited Greece. The waiters were efficient without hurrying us and very accommodating. We had a 2 1/2 year old in our party of 4 and a high chair was provided. Moussaka was delicious and enough for two. Atmosphere was warm and very family oriented.

Went to Uncle Nick's after the theatre. We arrived late at 11:30 and were asked to order quickly as the kitchen would be closing soon. After we had ordered, we did not feel rushed at all. We had a great meze, which the menu said served 2, but was enough for the four of us. Mains, including moussaka & steak... More

My husband and I were with a group tour of New York and we ate dinner here with the group. The food was outstanding, but the place is small and does not accommodate a large group well - more a couple or two couples place. The tzatziki sauce was the most flavorful I've ever had anywhere! I've never tasted anything... More

I am Greek and grew up on Greek food as well as making it a point to eat Greek food wherever I travel and can say without hesitation that, despite Chicago's claims to great Greek food, for my money NY has the best Greek food outside of Greece. Nick's is up there among the best, especially for its price point,... More

So few reviews. Was skeptical before we went in. Totally blown away by the food. Our server was very helpful in suggestions to bring about a very tasty authentic Greek food experience.

I am never disappointed when I come to Nick's. We live in the hood and if we can't decide where to go, we always come to Nick's. It's a great value and the food is tasty and filling. The service is always spot on but the atmosphere is nothing special. RECS: Branzino, Moussaka, Grape Leaves
