This was a nice place with great service and an updated yet warm ambience. Food was good. The salmon was particularity tasty. The risotto was a bit mushy. Had chocolate mousse for dessert - so good!

While a bit on the high side for prices, you must remember this restaurant is on the fringe of the theater district. So you do not have the best restaurants in town to pick from when you are trying to make curtain time and eat nearby the show. This restaurant had a good selection on the menu -- we ate... More

While in NYC, we went to a Sat evening performance of Motown. We booked Thalia's for dinner post theatre, with reservations at 10:45P, because it was nearby & reviews were positive. One of the best meals during our trip, service was attentive & the interior was unique & theatre oriented. When in NYC next time, will definitely dine here again.

We had lunch here before a Wednesday matinee. The food was fresh, creative and delicious and the prices were super reasonable. We are looking forward to going back!

I showed up at this place by casualty and was very surprised by the quality of the food served. My wife and I had 2 totally different dishes. I had sushi and she had ravioli and both were really good. I would definitely visit this restaurant again if I am in the neighborhood.

Besides their $1 oysters from 7:00 to 10:00 Thalia is a wonderful New York Restaurant. There are so many appetizers, entrees, salads and deserts that many visits don't begin to use up the repertoire. We have never had a meal there that was anything but excellent. It is such a pleasure to look through the menu and not to worry... More

My friend and I had dinner on a Sat night, made a reservation at 6, but was not crowded that early. Excellent food and service, we shared and tasted several dishes. Also stopped there same night for drink at the bar. Nice neighborhood feel and across the street from our hotel!

Always struggling to find a place to grab a light bite before the theater. This was perfect. Had a lovely salad with quinoa, edamame, corn, cilantro with grilled shrimp that were done to perfection.

$1 oysters for happy hour in New York City on a Saturday! You can't beat it and they were very good. Location was good and it was a nice night so we sat outdoors. Drinks were a little pricey but typical for NYC.
