Even when it's very busy this restaurant has good food and service. It's not fine dining but it's very decent food. The prices are in line with those at other restaurants in the Theatre District. It can get crowded and loud, but it's still a very pleasant place. I wouldn't rush back, but we had a nice evening and a... More

Had lunch there a couple of days ago, atmosphere was lively, the decor was that of a French bistro, our Latino waiter and busboy were polite and professional, we didn't have to ask for water as it was brought right after we were seated, (not very common nowadays) and there was no lemon slice in it which was great (lots... We ate here before we went to the theater on Saturday night and again on Sunday morning with their breakfast buffet. Both meals were very good. The restaurant was packed on Saturday night but we were able to get a table only after a short wait. It is very convenient if staying at the Hilton Garden Inn next door.

This was a busy restaurant on a rainy NY might. We had the fixed price menu. The highlight was the most enormous pork chop I have ever seen. Nice veg and dauphinoise style potatoes. Very nice. Friendly service throughout. Only downside was that the wine was expensive and all at $40+.

Right next to the Hilton garden inn on 8th ave, this casual restaurant is a decent place to go for affordable food and drinks.

The Brasserie Pigalle was just around the corner from our hotel on Times Square. We past it several times walking to the subway and plays. So, one night we decided to try it. It’s has that French brasserie feel in that the tables are very close together (although they didn’t sit anyone next to us) and not all that fancy.... More

I have been a fan of Brasserie Pigalle for years. It's consistently good, usually crowded, especially before the theatre, and always good food. Our server was dressed in a mask and chains for Halloween, but he was efficient and made it a good dining experience: tasty roasted chicken (and a LOT of it!), a terrific hamburger, huge Caesar salad, perhaps... The classic Brasserie look of the restaurant was very inviting. The staff were very nice and we had a nice seat by the window. But this is New York and I had high expectations for the meal. Nothing was terrible, but I expected better than OK. "Parisian ham" for the Eggs Benedict Parisian" was out so they subbed typical canadian... More

I was meh. My server was not well informed about the menu, and the food was only alright. Too many other options of places to eat that this place needs to seriously up its game.

Had breakfast at Pigalle. Service was ok, atmosphere ok but the food was not that good. Bacon was soggy, toasts were toasted on one side only and the texture of the bread was awful more like eating plastic. I didn't like the side potatoes either.
