Well prepared food, expert service and extensive wine list. There is a price fixed pre-theatre menu at $48.00 with 4 or 5 choices. I had the Cod as a main and a salad first. Good dessert selection. The bread is fresh and different kinds were in the bread holder. When I asked if the white wine could be colder, the... More

We were on our honeymoon and went to bar boulud at the recommendation of a British newspaper. It was fabulous so we thought we would try another of Daniel boulud so restaurants. We heard db bistro moderne was a bit more low key so we booked there. It was fabulous. The food was amazing, the staff were so attentive and... More

While going to NYC to see Wicked, we made 6:00pm reservations at the same time for db Bistro. We arrived and were seated right away. Very nice decor and the dress is semi dress, no jeans, but comfortably classy. The meal started off perfectly. We were even asked by the waiter if we were attending a 7:00pm or 8:00pm show.... More

We came here on the recommendation of a friend. It was post-theatre and the place was packed. We thought the tables were a bit too close together but that was our only gripe. The burger was as delicious as we had been led to believe. We also had the duck confit which was excellent. This is a great place for... More

We went there only for breakfast and it was delicious. We didn't know anything about this restaurant but we realised from the entrance it was expensive. And it was pricey but worth it. Very tasty and professional service!

Pricey for a glass of wine and salad for lunch. Just ok. Service was good and prompt. Expected better wine choices by the glass and more French whites.

We had eaten at Daniel a couple of nights before and decided to try his other restaurant. We knew it wouldn't be like Daniel, but this place is louder and much more casual than we expected. Aside from that, we had the foie gras hamburger and I must admit we both were a bit disappointed. It was good, but it... More

Ended up eating here because I couldn't get a table a few doors down. Face it, in midtown west there simply is no shortage of great choices. DB Bistro Moderne is guaranteed to give you good food. Just don't expect anything spectacular. Typical French bistro food. I tend to eat alone a lot so sitting at the bar is nice... More

I went to DB Bistro Moderne to try the famous hamburger and it really didn't disappoint. We also had the escargot which was delicious. It's a perfect place that's a nice enough for a fancy date but not too over the top luxury.
