The food was fine. It's right on a main street, so not the most relaxing of places, but the most noticable thing was the waitress who served us clearly didn't want to be doing so. Never smiled never spoke except to ask us what we wanted. When we left we left no tip at all - why would we? The... More

Visited this without having seen any reviews. We had to wait quite a while for our drinks, which was surprising because it was quiet, but the waitress did apologise. A few people came in to pick up takeaway which is always encouraging. When the food arrived, it was scorching hot and absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend a visit.

We were referred to this great spot by NYC theater-savvy friends. Our group was fairly large (12) and we were headed to a late cabaret show about 10 blocks away. Our servers were efficient and pleasant, food was great, prices reasonable, and the atmosphere was comfortable and casual. We were not at all hurried, and had plenty of time to... More

Looking for a place we could get into, but also one that wasn't empty... Don's had one table left so we took a chance. Menu has great variety and the atmosphere is a little off in my opinion however for the area and the huge portions the food was very well priced. We over did it on our order, appetizers... More

This restaurant is near the theatre district so it's not a bad place to go before seeing a show, it's not fine dinning, the restaurant walls are decorated with old photos, etc. The food is alright and the price is not bad for a Manhattan restaurant , I have been there a few times to meet friends before a show... Nothing good enough to remember. Food way below average. At the end of the day, there are tons of better options nearby. It's just not worth it.

We ate at Don Giavanni's on our recent trip to NYC and loved it. The pizza was excellent and a real value financially. The atmosphere in the restaurant was friendly and gave you a true NYC sense and experience.

Great food, great atmosphere with reasonable prices. Somewhat crowded however not too long of a wait time. Get seated by the large windows for some scenery. Great wine selection and just a very nice place to relax if you like people. Wait staff was very attentive. I would definitely go back.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
