We have eaten in all kinds of places in NYC. Expensive, cheap, fancy, plain, etc etc.... when we walked into Don Giovanni's we knew right away we had found a gem. They literally welcomed us as we entered, were cheerful and seemed genuinely glad to see us. The atmosphere was warm and cozy and just had a GREAT feel. And... More

Stopped by after a show - service was smooth, pizza was GREAT and staff was very hospitable - will definitely stop there again. And get the chocolate silhouette dessert :-)

We went with a party of 8 & the food and service were very good! We ordered the eggplant parm & it was awesome with ricotta in the middle. The lobster ravioli with clam sauce was great too! Service was pretty good.

We picked this restaurant as it was steps from the Intercontinental and the line ups was less than the other places. We still need to line up for 30 minutes, but that is to be expected in NYC. The spaghetti with meatballs and also with sausages was quite good, so was the lasagna. The stuffed shells with meat sauce was... More

This is an OUTSTANDING restaurant with wonderful food and the prices are unbelievable. There were 4 in our party and we all ordered something different. We all LOVED our dinners! The location is great too....close to many theatres! Don't miss it!

We were cold, wet, and hungry and Don Giovanni's looked open and inviting. Not too far from Times Square, it appeared to be calling us. The wine was just what we needed (house merlot and chianti hit the spot). We three women shared calamari and a delightful spinach with pignoli, goat cheese, and roasted red peppers. We proceeded to a... More

It's hard to find a terrible pie in this city and this place does an ok pie. Sadly I found the service absolutely shocking. Combine this with high prices and not only will I not be coming back I'm actively telling people not to bother. It's so easy to find a much better experience in this neighbourhood.

we found this lovely little restaurant by accident and it was a delightful find. Busy, with great atmosphere and fantastic food and service. Just off the touristy Times Square you will get much better food and service. Nothing was too much trouble. Try the garlic knots...absolutely delicious.

The place is simple but very cozy. The staff is nice and the food is amazing. Homemade style, very tasty pasta and pizza. And the price is very good as well. The dishes serve two people!

On my most recent visit to New York, had one of the friends in my group insisting to visit Don Giovanni. After 90 minutes of punishment I still can't understand why this restaurante was chosen and most important the reviews it gets. Got their by 8PM, with all the rush of pre-theater crowd. Noisy as hell. It only got worst... More
