Great food and atmosphere

We had a wonderful relaxing lunch here. The Pollo con Salsiccia was delicious! Open air, flower shop across the street, wonderful service.

It was a fairly busy Friday night and it was quite full. Service was average/below average - we didn't tip; and food not outstanding. Avoid the pizza.

I went here around Christmas time with a large group. It is a small Italian restaurant, but it is very clean and nice setting. All of the food was gourmet and divine. This is an upscale restaurant with great food.

We basically chose this on the hop, just wished we had a hopped a couple of steps further and missed out this restaurant. There were only about 4 tables occupied with about 15 free. I chose the Lasagne for main and found it stodgy and bland. The following day and for the next couple of days I suffered from severe... More

We come to NYC only occasionally, but always have dinner here at least once. The menu always has old favorites and at least one innovative (usually pasta) dish as a daily special. Very reasonable prices for the quality and location. Average but attentive service. It is a popular place so can get a bit loud.

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here, and loved the quaint atmosphere. It is the epitome of a wonderful little Italian cafe in Manhattan.

We have been dining at Pietrasanta for several years, and have never had a disappointing meal! That's saying a lot! They have been around for a long time, and good food is the reason. Classic Italian food, homemade pasta, wonderful, personal service, you can't ask for more. The pre-theater Prix Fixe menu is terrific both in taste and price! The... More

Lovely and quiet neighborhood open-front Sunday brunch location on a beautiful day. Staffed by my definition of perfect wait staff, attentive, but not disruptive. We enjoyed fresh coffee, veggie and pancetta fritattas, breakfast potatoes, salad and bread. I think it was about $16.50. Everything was great and just what we needed to get us through a long matinee. Close to... More

One of the best in the theater district. Had Carciofini (Artichokes) appetizer and pumpkin and lobster raviolis. ALL DELICIOUS Pasta is all made at restaurant. Piero will take good care of you. You can make reservation.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
