We visited this restaurant on the recommendation of one of the bartenders at our hotel and we weren't disappointed. Situated on 9th Avenue @ 47th Street, it's just about a 10 minute stroll form Times Square. The food and the service was absolutely first class. We were so impressed that we returned the following evening, which was the last night... More

When going to the theatre I usually dine on 9th Avenue. I had not eaten at Pietrasanta before so decided to give it a try. We had a reservation and were seated right away. We had a number of different servers come by, which was fine, but having one or two would have been enough. One person asked about drink... More

My broiled fish and grilled veggie dish was outstanding. Our service recognized we were time sensitive and deftly managed to navigate delicious our experience and get is out to the Theatre with time to spare. Recommend

Ate there between shows on a Saturday night. Old school Italian. Smallish place with good food. Fettuccine Verda recommended. Good house wine and well priced. Make a reservation, the place is hoppin!

I ate here on the same night as the football match to decide the second team to go to the superbowl, so it was a little dead with only a few other tables in there. Service was good though, attentive but not all over you but there when you needed it. The food was mostly good, above average for an... More

We discovered Pietrasanta by accident on the first night of a friends reunion trip to NYC. What a pleasant accident it was. The restaurant has a warm atmosphere and glow about it and the waiting staff continued that ambience. It felt like you were at home in Italy. The owner at some point in the evening made the rounds to... More

This is an unassuming little place, with charm and solid food. Diverse and varied menu, but limited wine choices. Just slightly off the theater area, but worth the effort. Great value, nice service. Go, try, enjoy!

I've been to this restaurant many times over the past 12 or so years. The food, service and atmosphere have always been good, and the location is very convenient. Last week I went with a party of 8 to celebrate a birthday and had an especially good experience. The food was excellent, and the service was also excellent! Our party... More

On recommendation of others went here for pre-show meal. The dining areas is rather small so make reservations. The owner greeted us and made sure we were provided with all our needs during the meal. The other staff was very efficient. The prices were very reasonable and wine selection, although limited, was excellent.

If you want an Italian restaurant that is convenient to Broadway theaters at a reasonable price this is the place to go. The service is caring. It is a small room so make a reservation. Wines by the glass are $8.00. This is not fine dining but you are not rushed. The minnestrone soup was filled with vegetables. The mussels... More
