Excellent italian in a cool "old world" atmosphere. Good service and the best spaghetti and meatballs we have had anywhere. The table side service was nice and we liked the small dimly lit dining room. We ate a Becco on the same trip, which was nice also in a different way, and I could see why some might prefer, however,... more
I've just written two 5***** reviews for Butter and Cafe Boulud during R.W.This was the exact opposite experince. Pre-theater menu ,$45 Prixe Fixe,3 courses all not very good ,delivered by a surly waiter in an untimely fashion. 5:45 reservation, ordered by 6 pm sharp, and our entree was delivered approx 7:15....we're talking pasta and veal here, nothing fancy at all.Food was ok at... more

Don't waste your time or money to dine here (food and service wasn't great). more

The tilipa and the veal were outstanding. The apple tart dessart was definately the best. We got there at 6 and got... more
Owned by the same family that owns Rao’s which you cannot get a reservation in, the recipes and items are the same as what the Maitre D told us! We saw this place on the internet when doing searches about RAO’s so we were lucky enough that we were staying only a block away at a nice hotel. This allowed... more
