Very pleasant dining experience

My husband and I are in the 68-72 age range so this restaurant may be more geared for the "younger" and "hipper" crowd. Even saying that......we had a really special night and our server, Melissa, was absolutely the best. Both of us sampled the trio of tacos and found them interesting and... read more

Call me old but the DJ blasting was kind of a buzz kill (too loud!) Stopped in for an appetizer (try the vegas fries, not bad!) and a couple of cocktails. We were fortunate to get a seat that overlooked the street (shutters opened) and had a great time. Server was super friendly as was the bouncer. Cheers!

OMG!! The taco trio is incredible. I've been here twice and had the trio tacos (1 seared tuna, 1 short rib, 1 shrimp). THE BEST!!!!!!!

Three of us arrived with a 6pm reservation on a Saturday, eating prior to an 8:00 curtain a couple blocks away. Fewer than 1/2 the tables were occupied when we arrived, nearly all when we left 90 minutes later. Since the restaurant moved to this location a couple months ago, it's much more spacious, and the menu has changed. As... More

We discovered this place in 2004 when they were at their old location, and then came back again few years later. It had become a place to go when we'd come to NY. So, we were hoping that we'd come back and enjoy it as much as we did back then. What a disappointment it was... Food was mediocre at... More

Last year we dined at the original Hell's Kitchen for a special birthday and loved it. We returned again this year for my daughters 18th birthday, and it was unfortunately not the best experience. We were seated quickly, but left for maybe 15 minutes before someone dropped off drink menus and said " I will be right back", well 20... More

We were greeted right away with drink order taken swiftly. Two marguerites on the rocks took almost 15 minutes to arrive but we weren't in a rush so that was ok. Unfortunately , they came with giant ice cubes and were not as good as I recall from previous visit. Waiter took our food order which did not arrive for... More

Mexican food this evening. Smoked Margeritas, ceviche and tacos. The service was friendly. The food was good and the price reasonable. The area is splendid for different taste :-)

We went to Hell's Kitchen at the recommendation of someone I work with - looking for a casual pre theatre dinner on a Friday night. The decor is nice and the place was quite lively! Our server was fantastic. He was super friendly and helpful - he must have checked on us six times during our dinner. We ordered a... More

The ambiance is Mexican style and you have at the entrance a bar full of tequilas and a menu of them explaining different characteristics. BUT BUT BUT they did not what Sangrita is!!!! Not the waiter, not the bartender. I showed them an Internet page and recipe, but did have even the ingredients. The food and service are really good... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
