Across from where it was and a little different than before

This has been a go-to for me every June when I am in town. Was surprised to see it moved across the street. Bigger location, nicer décor. The food is a little less adventurous and more what-you-expect than before. A lot less "nuevo" cuisine than it was. That said, it was prepared well, and it still... read more

We were staying in the neighborhood and wandered around for an early dinner while waiting for our laundry to be finished. Pleasant, informal and airy atmosphere on the corner. Service was slow and a bit uncoordinated. We seemed to have four servers attending to the different aspects of our drinks and dinners.... each one assuring us that "everything " was... More

I've been eating here since 2012 and noticed that they recently moved up the block. I noticed they changed their look and I was a little concerned the menu had changed as well. Although they have a few menu changes, I was happy to see during my recent visit that they still had some of my favorite items, including the... More

If you are in NYC ITS well worth a walk to Hell's Kitchen to check out the great choice of bars and restaurants it has to offer. Where ever we went we were met with great friendly people who were only to happy to tell us about the best places to go. Give it a go.

Want to try some great Mexican food? This is the place. Try the simple things, Tacos, quesadillas, and chips and salsa, all outstanding! A very busy place so service wasn't at its best. Had to wait to get drinks, and order food. But all in all a must stop in the variety department. Mucho beuno!

It's interesting that this restaurant would be so unorganized. Service is mediocre. I think they must train new people. The food was good and reasonably priced. I'll try it one more time

This restaurant is in a very busy part of town and therefore it's busy and noisy inside; I also didn't care much about the layout which leaves no room for a private and peaceful conversation.Aside from this, food is very good and the presentation nice. Staff is friendly enough and service is fast considering the somewhat chaotic atmosphere.Dont know if... More

As a family group of eight we were pleased to find a table without a long wait. The service was pleasant and we didn't have to wait too long. Food and drinks were good. All in all a pleasant experience

HK has inside tables as well as sidewalk. Food quality overall was good for breakfast. Might take a look at the menu before going in, most of the items differ greatly from the standard breakfast fair. The Belgian waffle comes as three or four small discs on a platter. They are crispy and tasty, but hollow inside so not very... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
