Good quality food in central location

Not really fitting the Irish fare bill but the food is of a good quality served in decent surroundings. Bar is noisy but the restaurant area is a lot quieter. Burgers were of a good standard and portions more than enough to fill a hungry appetite.

We just loved the food - we were in New York for St. Patrick's Day and was disappointed that we could not go there for dinner in the evening till very late. So my husband took me there for our last lunch.

I'd been there on a weekend. Have lot of drinking options. Good service. Interactive wait staff. Though I couldn't find the options in food much. Opens until 4:00AM on weekends. Can't say on the weekdays. Live band performance starts at 22:00 hrs

In the theater district, this is a nice spot for a pre or post dinner, the food is good and the service attentive. The decor is welcoming with lots of wood. The Cobb salad and mussels were nice.

This was my second visit. It is near the Doubletree Suites at Times Square, and after arriving at 10pm from New Zealand it is great to have a place open so late (on a Monday night) and still serving food. I would hardly describe it as an Irish bar, but it does serve good food and beer, and the staff... More

Stopped by on a lark one Sunday night while driving through NYC, sat in the dining room in the back. Both our meals were good, and there was a fine selection of adult beverages. Just what we'd hoped it would be.

We happened into this bar because the Haven, next door, was closed. Big mistake. The floor was sticky, the drinks were watered down and disgusting, and the live music was really bad. We stayed for one drink and beat it out of there.

We had an early dinner on St. Patrick's Day in New York and wanted to experience an Irish bar/pub near Times Square. A concierge at the Marriott Marquis recommended Langan's and it was a great choice! The bar was packed as expected but once we made it to the hostess station we were pleasantly surprised to find that we could... More

This isn't no Irish bar!! Back home people would be ashamed to be Irish if this is how we are being portrayed to the snobs of NYC. Cant fault the food was gorgeous BUT can we fault the staff and clientele? OF COURSE WE CAN and why? The staff are rude, arrogant and obnoxious, The clientele, the same!! Décor DOESNT... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
