A nice pub to catch your breath

Located in the theatre district this is a pleasant pub. Traditional Irish pub decor, really pleasant bar servers and the music is not overly loud. Also great is they serve beer in a real pint glass unlike many of the pubs in NY that go with the "baby" pint glasses. The menu looks interesting... read more

We've eaten at this Irish Pub many, many times since we were introduced to it by my friend. The cobb salad has been excellent from the beginning, but doesn't seem to be as we remembered it.

My husband and myself visited Langan's twice whilst we were in New York for a weeks holiday. What can I say........ the food and service was brilliant. My husband would recommend the rack of ribs. It is a lively and friendly place to be, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We would recommend Langan's to anybody. Fiona &... More

We came across Langan's on a previous visit to New York and enjoyed a lunch there. On this visit we found ourselves in the Times Square area when the heavens opened, we ran round the corner and low and behold there was Langan's. We were lucky to get a table for lunch. The great things about this restaurant is the... More

We stopped in on our way from Rockefeller Center to Times Square (just steps away after lunch). the food was delicious (rated A by the Health Dept) and there was brunch as well as lunch choices. The Shepherd's Pie was reported as amazing and the sandwiches sure looked good. My cousin got the quiche from the brunch menu and received... More

Amazing Irish pub! It is very big inside, it goes far back & has a closed off fancier section. Beer wasn't the coldest but the food was delicious! I recommend the spicy breaded chicken sandwich with avocado! So yummy, comes with fries and a slice of pickle. Price was around 14-15$, beer was about 6$ for a pint of budwieser.... More

We ate at Langan's before going to a theatre. It has great Irish food. I got the Guinness stew. It was delicious. The service was fast and friendly.

Maybe be a nice place. Came in for beer, server handed me some else's tab. She never did get it right. So if you're from out of town watch your bill REALLY CLOSE.

After a long day of travel and waiting to check into the Sanctuary hotel, we wanted to stretch our legs. It was about lunchtime so we walked outside and found Langan's, almost next door. Food, drinks and service were terrific in this clean little pub. We were back on our last day before heading to the airport and had the... More

A few doors from our hotel Ordered steak in Guiness sauce which was ok but potatoes were under cooked. They were replaced but by the time that they took I had almost finished most of my dinner

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
