Love Theatre, Love Sardi's

We usually go to Sardi's at least once every time we go to N. Y. & this last time we booked for our Thanksgiving Dinner. We could have not been more pleased. As we love theatre what better to eat. We did not expect it to be as full as it was, thinking most New Yorkers would be at home... read more

When I lived in Manhattan Sardi's was always my pre theatre dinner choice, I mean this is the place you spotted celebrities plus dining/drinking surrounded by hundreds of Broadway & Politico framed caractures. This trip Victoria and I went for drinks after a show, Sardi's Little Bar. Perfectly named, cozy romantic and quite wonderful. The young handsome bartender in his... More

As always, we have to have lunch at Sardi's on our trips to NYC. Today, we arrived to NYC for our annual girls' trip, and it was awesome -as usual. I had the BLT Crabmeat sandwich and French fries. Wow! It was delicious! They have a wonderful Caesar salad. The tiramisu is amazing. Everyone is great, and Mike is the... More

Always a must for a first time visitor before the theatre. I was hosting my future daughter-in-law for a weekend of shopping and her first trip to NYC! Food is not really the attraction but the pre-theatre menu is good and the price is reasonable. Will go again for sure.

Went to Sardi's for what is turning into an annual visit. Service and food were excellent, though the matre d' seemed distracted with his PDA when we approached him. Had the Salmon pre-fix dinner which was excellent, as were the apps. Told the waiter we were in no rush and he was very accommodating with exceptional service. Will come again... More

I promised my sister that my husband and I would include a meal at Sardi's on whatever day or night we attended the theater on our trip to New York. We couldn't get a dinner reservation, so elected for an after theater experience. I was surprised to find the restaurant almost deserted when we arrived at 10:00 pm after our... More

When in New York, before or after watching a play, one should experience Sardi's. The environment is unique, and you learn a little bit of Broadway and its stars every time you go in there. The staff is always polite and efficient. I have tried different dishes in different occasions, every time very good, but their traditional cannelloni au gratin... More

Great food. We both ate for under $70, w/no drinks. Jumb Lump crab cakes were decent, as was the chicken scaloppini. Good atmosphere, great location, excellent service.

I found Sardi's to be perfectly middle-of-the-road... sleeping in mind of course that in Manhattan that road is very wide. I went based on its reputation and place in Broadway history. We were seated upstairs at a corner booth next to the window and found the ambiance charming. The staff were warm, friendly, and there when you needed them. An... More
