Classic Restaurant Experience

Recently visited Sardi's and was not disappointed. Service was top notch and we had the pleasure of being seated at a window Table. Restaurant has lots of atmosphere and we will return. Food was very good, not great. A bit pricey but this is a NYC/Close to Times Square restaurant

After the show the place was virtually empty. It was perfect for a light meal and drinks after the show. The meal was average, but we enjoyed the atmosphere!

My wife's uncle was a choreographer on Broadway and as a young man I can remember us joining him, his wife and cast members in a late "after show" dinner in the 1980s. The last time I was had dinner at Sardi's was about 1994. Well I took my daughter (she is now at NYU) for a pre- theater dinner... More

Food was just okey, white wine that should be medium dry, was terrible and left on the table. Service was not impressing either.

Keeping the tradition of 25 years plus alive, the Theatre and Sardi's!!! They go together and I cannot imagine Broadway without Sardi's. Food quite good...always an interesting daily menu, big wait staff that is very attentive...Karen was superb as has Thomas D. been. Very willing to go the extra mile for the customer. Such a New York tradition...worth trying..you will... More

I've been going to Sardi's since 1986 for the NIT basketball tournament final four. Wyoming ended up losing to Florida. I was in town on Thursday and and stopped in for a night cap. Lot's of theater going tourists go there. I just go for a drink. It's a bit pricey, but it's New York. Bar whiskey was $10 and... More

Located right in the middle of the theatre district, Saudi's has a legendary reputation. We enjoyed a before-theatre dinner with friends. The service was excellent but I suspect once served, there is an expectation you will pay your bill and move on so that they can turn the table over one more time. Sardi's is no longer for those who... More

We went to sardi's before our show because we had heard great things about it. I thought it was just ok. Definitely had much better food. We the prix fix dinner menu. Crab cakes were good but I've had better. Chocolate mousse for dessert was yummy. I guess it's worth a visit just to say you've been but with so... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
