Sardi's is one of those places that non-New Yorkers have heard about since they were kids, especially if you are a theater junkie. We came for Valentine's Day dinner and it did not disappoint. We each had the prix fixe and shared the different sides and desserts. My steak was over-done but I'm used to that when I leave the... More

I slept through the first Chicago because I had a drink before theatre so I'm always looking for good martini after theater and Sardi's serves up classic drink and food in an historic environment. Last night they also provided an excellently seasoned Caesar as well as a well made Beef Tartar. My partner opted for Sardi's Sautéed Shrimp with rice.... More

My husband and daughter had no problem deciding on what to eat. I couldn't make up my mind and the waiter offered a suggestion which ended up being the best thing I did. I started with a delicious salad with chunks of bleu cheese and walnuts, followed by a superb spinach cheese cannelloni. Although we all said we had no... More

Visited Sardi's prior to seeing Les Mis. Myself and 3 friends opted for the Prix Fixe menu for $55 a head - 3 courses and coffee. Staff were friendly and attentive and willing to offer alternative accompaniments to meals offered on menu.

My wife and I visit NYC 2-3 times a year to "play". We always hit Broadway and our favorite, Sardi's. As always, our recent trip was great. Sardi's has great food, great location, and most of all, a wonderful wait staff. Always a super evening!

Everyone who loves plays should go to Sardi's for lunch or dinner at least once. The food is good and the wait staff is excellent. Also, this restaurant is affordable with a variety of entrees, etc. from which to choose. Everytime we are in New York, we go to Sardi's.

We did a Sunday Bruch at Sardi's. Brunch work well with both our schedule and budget. It was not too crowded which was nice because we got good service. We had french toast and an omelet, Both were respectable. Because it was not too crowded we had time to look at all the pictures on the wall. Overall a good... More

We were supposed to eat at Junior's because it had great ratings, but we ran late in traffic and couldn't wait. Sardi's immediately seated us, which I appreciated. We had eaten there a couple of years before, and I knew the menu was limited, especially for vegetarians, but I was able to find something-the vegetable lasagna- which unfortunately tasted similar... Sardi's has been a fixture in the Times Square/Theater District for many, many years. Due to its past and its location, it is still a fixture. The "Good" - location on 44th just off Broadway; the ambience of a busy NY restaurant; a good wait staff in their traditional red jackets. The "Not So Good" - what comes out of... More

We enjoyed lunch here before the theatre as a table of 9. We sat at 12.15 and our waiter was quick to attend. We explained we had 2pm theatre tickets and hoped we had time for the full experience. Our waiter joked we were very early and he wasn't wrong. We enjoyed the full 3 courses and were in our... More
