This was our 2nd Italian dinner in Hells Kitchen and completely different than the first which was traditional & crowded (BECCO). This was modern & spacious. Again, if you can miss the theatre crowd then do so. It seems to depressurize everyone and becomes relaxed and focussed on quality. Bread & antipasto was good as was shared appetizers. Mains; Strozzapreti... More

Return here again and again. By far the best dish is the Casoncelli - raviolis shaped like pouches rather than flat squares, filled with veal, raisin, amaretto cookies , sage, butter and pancetta, with a tasty mild sage sauce. -- If you like eggplant, the cold, very thinly sliced appetizer is excellent. Also good as an appetizer is the side... More

Went here before seeing Jersey Boys and had a great experience. The swordfish was great and the waiter was always quick to refill our drinks. Great atmosphere and it was just a 2 minute walk to the theatre after. Would recommend to anyone for a great pre theatre meal!

This restaurant is very attractive, has great service and food, and is not overpriced, even though it is on the edge of the Theater District. Everyone who went loved their food, and we saw some old TV stars there too. A very good dining experience, and they will adjust for pre-theater schedules too.

A friend suggested Vice Versa as a nice place to go for freshly made pasta before seeing a show. We made a last minute reservation through Open Table. It's located on 51st St between 8th and 9th Ave, but the signage isn't big, so keep your eyes peeled. We walked by it the first time. The service was fine, the... More

We visited ViceVersa based on a recommendation from a friend. It lived up to his recommendation. We went without a reservation and get lucky, being seated right away. Service was fantastic and the restaurant was well decorated with an inviting bar. The lighting was perfect - giving it a nice soft glow, but enough that you could see your food.... More

This is a great restaurant with an excellent bar and very reasonably priced wine list and menu. I had the seafood pasta - excellent quality and flavor. service was excellent.

Get the "Casoncelli" dish! Excellent! Nice environment. Enjoyed sitting at the bar conversing with the bartender and locals. Very friendly!

Contrasts! Contrasts!! Warm friendly room, large for this neighborhood... but disco music didn't really seem right for the demographic I saw. Nice choice of wines by the glass, so why would the waiter whisk away the list after a customer made his first selection - a complete contrast to the rest of the attentive but not obtrusive service? The mozzarella... More
