If your looking for great Italian food, with ambience, in a nice modern setting check out ViceVersa. I had a selection of appetizers, Arancine - good basic (nothing special), fried squash blossoms (fabulous) and beef carpaccio with black summer truffle (have them hold the mayo/sauce) Good wine selection, good service

The concierge at my hotel set this up as a pre-theatre dinner venue. The blood orange cosmopolitans were amazing. The food fantastic and it was so good we were slightly late to the theatre. Service top-notch, highly recommend.

My wife and I had a terrific dinner at this Hell's Kitchen/theater District Italian restaurant. We each had a pasta dish, the Strozzapreti (duck ragout) and Casoncelli (veal, raisins). While very different, each was sensational. Wines by the glass were numerous and not overpriced. We had a babysitting gig so they served us promptly but did not rush us. We... More

For me it started with my $12 glass of valpolicella - it was so poor that i knew to lower my expectations. Next came the caprese salad. the mozzarella was good but there was barely any basil and the tomatoes weren't fresh and too cold so they had no taste. main meal of spaghetti and meatball was good. Service was... More

First of all I want to submit that I come from Gragnano (known as the european capital of the pasta), and seeing that they use the same way and the same ingredients to make it means a lot to me! Franco (the owner) is very friendly and he knows well the sense of the hospitality... That place is one of... More

Food was very good. Service was excellent. Forgot our digital tickets for Book of Mormon. They bailed us out: emailed to them and they printed. Would not take gratuity for this.

The pasta here is cooked perfectly and the preparations show imagination and a great understanding of tradition at the same time. The service was friendly and the atmosphere just delightful. I had a small stuffed pasta filled with veal, raisin, amaretto cookies and seasoned with sage, butter and pancetta. Out of this world. My friend had spaghetti with crab meat... More

We were introduced to Vice Versa by a friend who is a Manhattanite and we haven't been disappointed. Vice Versa is in the outskirts of the theater district so it seems to garner a more local crowd...not a lot of tourists. This last experience was positive again. I substituted for a friend at the last minute for "Wicked." (By the... More

Arrived in the middle of a huge thunderstorm and the restaurant was not crowded. We were placed in the corner next to the waiters station which suited my husband as we could look over the room but also had the waiters talking and placing their orders close to our table. So not a great start for me. We started with... More

Delicious meal in a lovely setting. Love that they have two sizes for all the pasta dishes. Get the small size and then there is still room to try some of the other selections. We were impressed with everything we ordered and will be back to try others. Service was friendly and efficient. Decor is simple but pleasant and there... More
