We discovered ViceVersa as a drop-in near our hotel, and have been going back at least twice every trip to New York. It's that good. This time I had Artic Char, prepared just right, almost undercooked. Calves liver was done just right, and very tender. The Papperdelle is one of the best pasta dishes I've had. This restaurant manages to... More

Our best meal during our stay in New York by far. I had one of their signature dishes, the ravoli stuffed with veal, raisins and amaretto which was absolutely devine. The Bourbon Pecan pie was very decent as a well for the dessert. I would thorough recommend eating there during a stay in New York.

This restaurant was charming and the food was decent. We selected this place for it's close location to a show. It was an easy walk to the theater district from the restaurant. But there was something that seemed lacking. The staff just seemed to be going through the motions. I felt disappointed in the overall experience without being able to... More

I did not choose Vice Versa for a pre-show dinner thinking it would be bad, I just didn't think it would be as good as it was. The vibe was cool in an area that isn't known for cool, and the food was very good in an area where too many restaurants are mediocre at best. Service was enthusiastic if... More

Italian restaurant, serving good pasta (homemade). If I was ranking only the food and the place, probably I would rate the restaurant as good (the rigatoni funghi porcini were very good). But the service was not in line: unfriendly and cold. Probably my 2 teens would agree with me: they ordered coke to drink and what they had was an... More

i needed to find a nice place to eat in the west 50's on short notice and used all the usual websites and was intrigued by ViceVersa. nyc is the city of 10,000 restaurants and there are always new and trendy places to go. this place is not new and trendy. but it is lovely. the entire staff, from the... We were recommended this restaurant by local New Yorkers so we didn't hesitate to make a reservation. It was also a 5 min walk to a Broadway show we we're headed to after dinner. The ambiance, service, food were all excellent. Probably the best lasagne i've ever had. The prices we're very reasonable and the service was extremely efficient but not... More

I love viceversa and have been here a few times over the years and never been disappointed. It's really nice that even over this time they seem to retain their staff and faces are familiar. The service is always great and it is the perfect restaurant for a pre- or post-theatre meal. The food is always tasty, they have a... More
