Thank-you reviewers, as I went here based on your recommendations. Was going to see Jersey Boys and this is very close to the theater. They do take reservations. They are very welcoming, interior is warm and inviting. Wait staff is very attentive. Tried several dishes. Yes, the dishes are not cheap or plentiful for the average person, but were very... More

We had a wonderful Italian meal pre-theater in New York, with probably the best Italian dish that I've ever had. Although the individual ingredients sounded odd as a combination, together, they blended into a magnificent "orchestra of flavor." It had casoncelli pasta, veal, golden raisins, amaretto cookies, sage, Grana Padano cheese, butter and pancetta. One of the restaurant owners told... More

My fiance and I had an excellent experience here on New Year's Eve. There was a prix fixe 4 course menu with the option of a wine pairing for a little more. We definitely went with the wine pairing and it was so worth it. The dinner stretched out from 9:30 to midnight, which was perfect, ending in a champagne... More

Came for lunch with my family. The lunch menu is delicious but my family thought it was limited. I really loved it.

Having heard good things about this place from a neighbor (and having read mostly good reviews on this and other sites), I brought a large group here for dinner. I had the mushroom pappardelle and it was just swimming in oil. It was hard to even eat it. The service and the atmosphere were just fine, if not worth writing... More

We discovered ViceVersa as a drop-in near our hotel, and have been going back at least twice every trip to New York. It's that good. This time I had Artic Char, prepared just right, almost undercooked. Calves liver was done just right, and very tender. The Papperdelle is one of the best pasta dishes I've had. This restaurant manages to... More

Our best meal during our stay in New York by far. I had one of their signature dishes, the ravoli stuffed with veal, raisins and amaretto which was absolutely devine. The Bourbon Pecan pie was very decent as a well for the dessert. I would thorough recommend eating there during a stay in New York.

This restaurant was charming and the food was decent. We selected this place for it's close location to a show. It was an easy walk to the theater district from the restaurant. But there was something that seemed lacking. The staff just seemed to be going through the motions. I felt disappointed in the overall experience without being able to... More

I did not choose Vice Versa for a pre-show dinner thinking it would be bad, I just didn't think it would be as good as it was. The vibe was cool in an area that isn't known for cool, and the food was very good in an area where too many restaurants are mediocre at best. Service was enthusiastic if... More

Italian restaurant, serving good pasta (homemade). If I was ranking only the food and the place, probably I would rate the restaurant as good (the rigatoni funghi porcini were very good). But the service was not in line: unfriendly and cold. Probably my 2 teens would agree with me: they ordered coke to drink and what they had was an... More
