Had a great meal here during our New York holiday. Booked a table and was surprised as couldn't get an early time - wanted 6pm but only 5.30 or 7.45 available. This is a great place for a pre theatre dinner in the north part of the theatre district. The room is pleasant and the tables are spaced well apart. The wine list was good with reasonable prices. there are many excellent restaurants in mid town - this is one of them, just off the center of the theater district. All the dishes the four of us had were truly great. Liquor was a bit expensive - a double Tanguaray gin was $20 and a double Bombay Sapphire was $30, but over all cost of food and drink... more

Went to ViceVersa on Friday night before going to a play. It is a very pretty restaurant. The service was good. The food was a little on the fancy side but delicious. We will go back again if we are seeing a play in that area. more

My husband and I had a lovely dinner at ViceVersa last night before going to see Wicked, which was just down the street. I had an excellent gnocchi and my husband had a lamb shank with polenta. It must have been good because he didn't offer to let me try it! Very nice atmosphere and overall a great find! more

We too visited VV prior to a night at the theater. In fact it is exactly half block from Wicked. Our reservation was slightly earlier than the dinner crowd but the place quickly filled by 7pm. Vice Versa on 51st is a great place for a nice dinner with sig other or as I dined, with girlfriends. The staff was attentive, but not overbearing and we could laugh and chat and enjoy the wonderful food at a great price.
