Excellent service and excellent food!

I never like scallops in a restaurant, I only like them when I sauté them. I keep trying and I'm always disappointed. They were cooked perfectly!! I ordered the Shrimp and Scallops and can't wait to go back!!! Everyone at the table was happy with their dinner!

We enjoyed our meal at St. Andrews. I had the ribs while my wife had a crab cake sandwich. The service was good and the ribs would fall right off the bone. I tried some of their selection of scotch however, some of them (in particular the worldwide section) were unavailable.

We came for apps and drinks after seeing a show. We had potstickers, ribs and soft pretzels. All were excellent. The waiter recommended a rum punch, and it's my new favorite drink. The live Celtic music was great, the atmosphere was warm, and service was great. We stayed right in Times Square, so a lot of the restaurants are touristy... More

Our party of eight arrived somewhat early for our reservation, yet the staff responded quickly to seat us within a few minutes. Upon entering, we discovered an extremely neat establishment with a decor that was well matched to the Scottish theme of the restaurant. Our table was part a smaller room and felt almost like a totally private room. When... More

Visited here recently just for drinks (pricey), the food here is supposed to be good. Live music playing and bartenders dressed in kilts. Large selection of whiskey and beers, however bartenders were blunt and miserable not even a smile. Probably wont go back again although the bar itself is in a good location and is great to look at

There have always been lots of Italian and French restaurants in Manhattan's vibrant theater district, but who would have thought of Scotland? But here on 46th Street just off Broadway sits St. Andrews offering a nice menu including a number of Scottish favorites (think haggis and bubble and sqweak!), plus a busy bar that offers a staggering variety of Scotch.... Capped off an evening out with my husband with a Scotch at St. Andrews. Great selection. Sean, the bartender, was friendly and knowledgeable. It was a Sunday night, so the bar was pretty quiet, which suited us.

Three of us had dinner here before the theater. We were very pleased. We all got grilled seafood and picked what 2 sides we wanted and had a choice on the type of sauce. The portions were just right and the food was excellently prepared and very good. Service was quick and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant when you... More

The atmoshpere here was quite vibrant and the bar staff friendly.. Sevice was good but the menu ( apart from the homemade haggis tatties and neeps) was the same as every Irish Pub (they all seem to be Irish Pubs - or at least an American version of an Irish Pub ) Prices were average. Liked tha fact that the... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
