A hearty Scottish meal before an 8 pm show seemed just the ticket on a January evening. The place was rather crowded downstairs but we did have a reservation and were ushered upstairs. The upstairs is cozy and rather lovely -- away from the bustle. The food did not disappoint though the service was rather slow (we had to ask... More

While we were out for our Sunday walk in mid-town (on a rainy cold day) and before seeing the matinee of You Can't Take it With You, we decided to stop into St. Andrews Pub for lunch. I've eaten there before, but the Mrs had not. I felt confident that it would end up being a good choice and that's... More

Although my girlfriend and I did not eat here, the bar selection and service was great and as an added bonus, the staff is mostly genuine Scottish! Had a great time here and the service was very good.

Eleven of us were walking, trying to find someplace for lunch and came across this pub. They set up for us in no time and we were seated quickly. Food was excellent from sandwiches to full entrees. Staff was very accommodating as well. Loved it!

the food was OK but the overall noise (music and guests) was so bad it was difficult to have a conversation with the person on your table.

We made reservation 2 weeks before 31.12.2014. We came all family to be in NYC for the new year. The restaurant confirm the reservation. 24 hours before they sent us a massage that they cancelled the reservation with stupid excuses that they have a mistake in the computer system. I don't believe them I am sure that they had a... More

I had lunch in St Andrews after a hard mornings shopping. The restaurant seemed buzzing and the food choice was vast. After finally settling on a burger, my food arrived quickly despite the busy rush and it was totally delicious. The staff were a pleasure and couldn't do enough if you asked for it. Would definitely recommend.

Stumbled on to this while walking in NYC. What a great find. Excellent service, excellent food. We had a young man who is very picky eater with us, they changed one of the menu items just for him. All the food was delicious. So glade we found this. The atmosphere was very traditional, wood floors, darker walls, with golfing photos.... More

We arrived a little early and went to the bar for a drink. They have an awesome single malt scotch menu! You'll be challenged to come up with something they don't have listed. We were promptly seated, but you're definitely packed in. Our food was good, but I've definitely eaten a better steak in New York city. They were super... More

This was a special meal we tumbled upon after touting all day. We had their ribs which melted off the bone. The other entree was their free range chicken with the best potatoes and spinach. The staff placed us away from the bar upstairs and it was quieter then the street level. Service was extremely attentive and price for four... More
