First took forever to get our orders.wife order the filet mignon and I ordered the sirloin both medium well... came medium rare.... waitress took for ever to check up on drinks. All of the sudden new waiter was sent to our table. Took forever to bring check. Was disappointed with food and service. Mind you food was expensive

We have eaten here before and really enjoy it. There are lots of Irish pubs in NYC but very few Scottish pubs. They have an excellent selection of single malt scotches and Scottish beers. The food is very good as is the service. We recommend it particularly if you are into single malts.

We made reservations online and when we walked into the place for lunch it was practically empty. That should have been our clue to turn around and go somewhere else. The first strike was that they were out of Bellhaven Scotch ale. It was the entire reason we went. It's their star beverage as they are a Scottish Pub and... More

We stopped in here for dinner before the theatre and loved it. Of course it's Midtown, and the prices were a little steep. But my son loved his ribs, and the chef came out to the table and proposed a vegetarian meal for me that turned out to be delicious! A very nice experience!

Excellent place for a dinner prior to an evening at the theater. Took my family, wife and 2 adult daughters on Tuesday March 10, 2015. Arrived for our 5 PM reservation about 10 minutes late due to train and rain delays. This was not a problem. Only problem was that I had reserved thru their online reservation service and the... Just round the corner from Times Square on 46th street I was attracted to this pub as I hadn't seen another Scottish themed pub in the various towns and cities I had visited in the USA. Pretty standard plastic interior with a long bar which the kilted barman seemed to favour at the opposite end to us, when I finally... More

After walking around Times Square the group I was with wanted to find a nice place to get a drink or two. I suggested Havana so we started down 46th Street. The group decided to hit St. Andrews which is almost across the street. The service was good - the atmosphere great. Who knew we would see kilted men in... More

Coming from the highlands of Scotland,I knew that there was a Scottish bar in NYC but didn't know where,I was actually looking for a recommended Irish bar when I stumbled across it. It was blizzard conditions outside with a wild chill of minus 20 but on entering was given a very warm welcome. We were taken to our seats straight... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
