We stopped here for drinks last Friday because we love Scotch and thought it would be fun. The prices are high..even for New York City. We had the choice of "tastings" or "drams" and we opted for the latter. The pours were not in authentic dram glasses which are very specific style and shape. Instead the bartender turned a brandy... Hi there, Thank you for the feedback. I'm sorry if you were disappointed with your experience. All our drams are 2oz. pours while a taster is a 1oz. pour. The glasses we order are true to these measurements. If you look at other scotch bars throughout NYC you will find our prices to be very competitive. We are particular with... More

Visited on the recommendation of our concierge. Hopping bar but the restaurant was terrible. Fried, fatty food. Everything I hate about Scotland. My dinner guest loved it -go figure, but he wasn't watching his figure and had low expectations. Save your money, buy from a street vendor and skip the Tums.

I am sorry you didn't enjoy your meal. Like many, we offer popular pub style dishes such as fish and chips, calamari, buffalo chicken wings and so on. However, we have never in the past had a complaint about our fried food. At St. Andrews we take pride as a Scottish restaurant in offering fresh, lean and nutritous food. Perhaps... More

Chose this restaurant to Meet some friends who were visiting from UK. Drinks and beer..lager choices were amazing! Given the dinner menu and asked for the pub menu. All meals were exceptional..filet mignon..sea bass...ribs...except mine..the grilled chicken on my salad was quite dry and flavorless. That is the reason for the 4 rating. Service was very good...open air seating was... More

My wife and I have eaten here a number of times, with and without friends, and it has become a favorite for food in the Times Square area. We've had the ribs (not overly sauced and fallilng off the bone), burgers, crab cake sandwhich, corned beef & cabbage, bangers & mash, and fish & chips. Except for the fish &... More

Thank you for your great review! I appreciate you taking the time to discuss the highlights of your dining experiences. As always the ribs are one of the most popular items on our menu and one of my own personal favorites! I do apologize if you are confused by the grill menu, I would like to explain that this menu... Amazing food, simply amazing. Great pub/restaurant atmosphere, awesome service. Haggis a bit under-spiced (prob to accomodate No American palates), but good. Grilled Cod special w/ lobster bisque as sauce was TO DIE FOR. Good live music after 9pm as well.

Stumbled upon this place by accident, as it was only 100 yards from hotel. What a pleasant change from Irish theme pubs!. It is basically a bar / restaurant transported from Scotland to NY. No over the top tartan, highland cows or haggis etc, just the kind of place you would actually find in Edinburgh. We ate here 3 times,... More

Was hungry for authentic fish and chips. It did not disappoint. It was just far enough away from the craziness of Times Square yet close enough to walk. Had a nice table overlooking 46th street. The salad was fresh. Bread was great. The fish and chips were outstanding. Great service. Would definitely recommend.

Great place to kick back and relax after a long day. The food is great and the service is even better! The waiting staff are all very friendly.
