Welcome to Da Rosina! Da Rosina, well established since 1993, is the premier Italian restaurant ideally located in the heart of the Theatre District. On Restaurant Row, Da Rosina is minutes from Times Square, the Lincoln Tunnel, and all major hotels. The room is invitingly decorated with a lovely mural and Roman columns. Tables are comfortably spaced allowing the waiters to serve you exquisite Italian fare at very moderate prices. Da Rosina is a theatre lover's dream. Because of the proximity to all the major theaters and our ability to prepare delicious Italian cuisine promptly before curtain time, Da Rosina is perfect for dining before attending the theater. Of course, if you prefer a more leisurely meal, please make your reservation during showtime or join us after the theater!

No show off but very good

After a show on Broadway you can go to this very traditional italian where you will be served very good pasta cooked al dente, very hot and not ruined by too much sauce. I have had better tiramisu but the pie with ricotta cheese is delicious. And in addition you have italian songs to listen to.

AMAZING food, friendly staff, easy to walk to from any midtown hotel, price was good... Would of paid more for this quality! Did not feel rushed even though we didn't sit down until 9:45pm, really nice atmosphere and would definitely recommend!

Lots of choices on Restaurant Row, but my recent visit was good enough to warrant a four star review. No, not the best, but certainly not the worst. Reasonable price, good servers, rather 50-ish Italian restaurant decor. But, hey, they will get you a meal with pasta al dente, a decent 3-course meal in time for theater or train. New... More

I don't expect too much from restaurants in Times Square. They have a built in pool of tourists to snare. So, with lowered expectations this is a fine restaurant to eat in after a show. The food was quite good. My lasagne was a little salty, but otherwise quite good. They feature a lot of sea food and the fish... More

Extremely unimpressive. While not terrible, the food was mediocre at best. Price fixe menu seems to be the attraction here and the average age of the patron is "way" older. Please don't be offended, but if your 55 and younger> avoid this one. Just out of date/time if you ask me. Also, way too many servers rushing you through dinner.... More

This is one of our favorite places for dinner, when we have been to the theater, or will be attending an evening performance, because it is in the theater district, and the service is good. I like a price fixed menu with numerous choices from the whole menu, which includes an appetizer, main course and dessert. The price is $32.00... More

I've been to Italy several times and this place is as good if not better than many restaurants there. It is a small family run business that is very convenient to Time Square and the theater district. 7 Of us all had different entrees and we enjoyed them all. Great, friendly service. Loved the food. Went back a second time... More

We stumbled upon Da Rosina when we were looking for a place for 7 to eat. We looked at several other small restaurants as we walked down the street and decided to give Da Rosina a try. It was small and cozy, but excellent food. At our table we ordered everything from the striped bass to gnocci to lasagna and... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
