Always Good

The most popular item is the paste di symphonie, three pastas, all you can eat. Homemade pasta, sauces, what's not to like? Always uniformly good.

Chef must be in love, otherwise you can not explain the amount of salt, lemon and vinegar that they put in the dishes- practically burned our tongues out! Sometimes more is less... Good service though.

Truly one of the best dining values in Manhattan without question. Becco has a full menu but the real value is the All-You-Can-Eat Pasta dinner that comes with salad. This isn't just spaghetti or fettuccine al fredo but beautifully prepared al dente pasta with quite a variety of sauces. Three are available nightly brought to your table by waiters carrying... Lunch was abundant. I had the 3 pasta special. Two were excellent and one was just O/K. My friend had a good tasting fish. The extra dishes were very good with wonderful olives. Seating can be very close for a table for 2. You are elbow to elbow with people at the next table. Service was excellent. I will return.

We love Lydia, so when we were planning our trip to NYC we knew a visit to one of her restaurants was in order. My coworker (who just happens to be Italian) lives 20 minutes out of the city and frequently eats at Becco when she sees a show. She told us it was THE must visit restaurant while we... More

The food and the feeling of being just a tourist (which I am not!) is not worth he cost. It is convenient to the theater district.

this is a great place for a tasty, reasonably priced, dinner before attending the theater. The tables are close together but the rooms are separated which helps with the noise level. I appreciated that they had a long list of wines that were all $29/bottle...takes the guesswork out of selecting wine with dinner. The pasta offerings change each day and... More

I have been to Becco several times. my most recent was a little disappointing. As the restaurant gains popularity the prices have gone up. The experience is still good and the staff is friendly

Went here with friends after new Larry David play. Birthday and anniversary celebrations . Love Lydia! So thrilled when I realized where our reservations were! The restaurant looks so small from website and street. It isn't. We walked through several areas before we were seated in the back. Staff was fabulous! Very helpful. Gave great recommendations. There were 3 couples.... More

This was the best food I ever had in my entire life! I might as well except that this food doesn't come from the kitchen, but straight from heaven! Definitely go for it!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
