The seafood at Becco is worth a try if you are a fan of Italian food. From the salad to dessert was impeccable and delicious. However, the dining area is super crowded and the services at the front door was awful (I stood there for ten minutes where nobody came up to me and later even ask myself to go... More

First time here, with my husband. Had made reservations on OpenTable that were honored on time with no issues. Upon arriving, the hostess verified if you had a show to get to and what time the show started; this was helpful also because our server was informed of this ahead of time. (Side note: it was PACKED on a Tuesday... More

Expensive but delicious. Late night meal after theatre. Service was fast & courteous. Spaghetti with truffle sauce was quite a splurge for the 3 of us to share, it was fabulous! Nice wine list.

Becco's (the english translation is beak) is truly one of the better restaurants in NY. It is located in the busy theater district in New York's restaurant row and distinguished by excellent food and service. My family has eaten here for many years and it never disappoints. The entrees are reasonably priced. Becco's is well known for its tableside pasta... More

I've been a fan of Becco for several years. It's a place that never fails to please. The pasta selections were trully wonderful but when the osso bucco arrived everyone seated near me leaned over and drooled. Since I was alone, I sat at the bar to eat. Very comfortable and very attentive bar staff. Yes the place can be... More

We have been going to Becco since they opened and had always made it one of our "must do's" when in NYC. Sadly, Becco has traded quality for quantity and has jammed as many tables and chairs as possible into a relatively small restaurant. If you are not comfortable in tight spaces, then stay away. Granted, our visit was Friday... More

We enjoyed the food. Had veal that was very very good. Gnocchi were like light pillows that melted in your mouth. The bolognese sauce was tasty, but skimpy on the meat. Spaghetti was al dente. Service was terrible to order a nice bottle of white wine and have it served at room temperature is disappointing. We were not offered the... More

We were in for a pre theater meal. The food was excellent, service impeccable. We were seated promptly, & we were not rushed. I had the unlimited house made pasta sampler. Each pasta was great. My favorite was the light as a cloud gnocchi bolognese. The steak was outstanding and the chicken was a winner as well. The wine list is... More

This restaurant was recommended, and I am passing along the recommendation. It was a very loud restaurant, but the food was very good, and their wine list at $25 a bottle beats ordering a glass of wine at the bar (which cost us $18 for 2 glasses before we realized we could buy bottle for $25). The wait staff was... More
