We were there for dinner that was included with our trip. Service was fine until the dessert was served. My daughter has a nut allergy & when we inquired about nut products as an ingredient, we were told," I don't think so," and didn't offer to find the answer to our question. The pasta was underdone & both of our... More

A large, beautifully decorated, space. The food is good (and plentiful) and the wait staff (especially Frank) are top notch.

Wonderful, authentic Italian food in Little Italy. We have dined here on several occasions and this trip lived up to our expectations. The food was delicious. They have a wonderful bread basket that gets the meal off to a great start. Our group of 3 choose gnocchi, risotto and chicken marsala. All were delicious, with large servings. The total was... Soo we went to Il Cortile (in Little Italy) since we had been there before for daughters birthday and liked the food..... Well that was then, and this is now!!! Let's start with the positive!!! They have an enclosed Atruim which is very festive!! Now for the negative!! When we sat down and looked at the menu, my husband said,... More

There are so many to chose from in Little Italy but we really enjoyed our lunch. I had clams and linguine and the linguine was fabulous. You could tell it was home made pasta. My husband had a veal dish with red sauce and peppers. Also very good.

My wife and I went to the Il Cortile the evening after Thanksgiving with a reservation for 7:30pm. Upon our arrival and being shown to our table, I asked the host if the sewage pipes had backed up? He shrugged his shoulders and looked at me the way most establishments who are riding their own coattails of past successes do... More

I'd been at this restaurant many years ago when limos were pulling up at its doors - no more. On a Sunday night, it was more than half empty and still, the wait staff were elusive. Typical to Little Italy, there is a "hawker" outside inventing passers by to come in. He introduces you to the maitre d' who then... More

I love this place! Walking lower Manhattan is a joy, but it builds the hunger. This is the spot for some fine Italian fare. Excellent service, a nice atmosphere, and part of the NYC experience, for sure! We sat in the atrium and it looks EXACTLY like the photo on their website. I think what I like most is that... More

We ordered an antipasto, small, simple medium goodness but overpriced, ok we order a spaghetti with the seefood in white and i think the fish was not fresh! I will never tell to go overthere.
