I went here twice and enjoyed the food in both occasions. First was for lunch and I had the Frisee salad with a poached egg, blue cheese, lardons and a bacon vinaigrette. You have the option to add grilled chicken and it was a huge portion of grilled chicken enough to make it an entree. It was good but I... More

If you want professional, friendly service, this restaurant can always be depended upon. I highly recommend their miniature freshly cooked doughnuts, with delicious dipping sauces of either maple or raspberry, Everything served is well priced and served in a sophisticated setting, at affordable prices. Suggest sitting outside when the weather is nice.

My husband and I dined here at the recommendation of our hotel concierge. We came because we were tired and hungry and didn't want to stray far from the hotel... we left satiated and happy for a meal that didn't break the bank (relative to other NYC restaurants). If the weather's nice, sit outside! You really get to experience the... More

What could be more welcoming (comforting) than bistro fare on a cold wet night? I had fresh cavatelli with broccoli rabe and pork sausage. Absolutely delicious. My partner had salmon, which actually appeared rare as he had requested. Warm, genial staff. Attentive but not obtrusive. Interesting wines to compliment the dinner. A great place!

I booked this place for a meeting involving a party of four. I had the New York Strip, two others had the chicken specialty and the fourth had the lamb. Overall the meals were okay but it was really nothing justifying a rating higher than average. The price point says prime but the meats spoke select not prime. The house... More

Ambiance was nostalgic romantic. We went at 11pm 1/1/15. Very slow of course. Service was excellent. Food was average. Bugatti carbanara was good. NY STRIP Steak was made to order. It was Good. French onion soup needed improvement. Overall it was enjoyable.. Like the romantic old nostalgic Ambiance.

This used to be a go to place for me, years ago when this place was more "in". I went in early (without a reservation) on a cold Saturday night. The decor was warm and inviting and the staff solicitous. I had steak frites au poivre and a cabernet. The steak was perfectly cooked. The service was excellent. It's not... More

My wife and I and our two college boys ate brunch here last week. Great food and service. Not cheap by any means, (I had two Coke's that i found out later was seven dollars a glass), but there really isn't cheap in the city. I might have water instead next time but will definitely go back. Awesome atmosphere and... More

We dined here after a long walk in the cold rain. It is a loud diner scene with basic drinks and staple food options. The lamb shank was one of the best we have had; the streak frites was solid as well. The service was excellent. Not sure I would go out of the way to dine here again, but... More
