Fresh ravioli

I went with my 15 year old son for dinner. He ordered the cheese ravioli with rosemary cream sauce and walnuts. He loved it. I just ordered a salad, and the waiter was clearly disappointed. The service was great, food delivered incredibly fast. Everyone seemed to be enjoying a lovely summer night... read more

Went with a friend and enjoyed the great service, food selection, quiet atmosphere. For dessert, we were shown a display of desserts available.

This place was recommended to us and we were looking forward to trying this place. When we arrived (approx 9.00pm on a Sunday), the staff didn't acknowledge us and beckoned a waiter from the restaurant next door who told us Pellegrings had stopped taking orders. We were a party of 6 forty year old males, well dressed who were not... More

Every time I go to New York, I make a pilgrimage to Pellegrini's in Little Italy. It's one of the few places where I can still find home made Italian fare, like the kind my Italian neighbor would make. The Braciola, when they have it, is simply amazing, and it takes me back to a different place and time. The... More

Great food & amazing service! Loved the stuffed artichokes and clams oreganata. You must try their tiramisu.

We went here for a birthday dinner and sat outside right in the heart of Little Italy in the summer...awesome. The sights and sounds are vibrant. The food was great. I had the Veal Marsala and it was melt in your mouth goodness and texture. Great meal. I will be back ..

With Italy being our favourite holiday destination and the love of good Italian food we felt we must go to Little Italy on Mulberry Street. The atmosphere in the street was lovely. After walking up and down the street we decided on Pelligrinos as it was busy and usually that's a good sign. We got a table outside and it... More

Had a nice late lunch for 4 on the weekend. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Good value. the veal parm was excellent. Sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere on Mulberry Street.

I'm really not a great fan of Italian food, but if more Italian places approached the great dishes offered by Pellegrino's, I'd be an Italian food lover! Service was top notch for the first and last third of the meal, but strangely absent in the middle third. I will definitely return!

This is a very good Italian Restaurant in the heart of NYC's Little Italy. We went there for lunch on a hot day and were able to sit inside where it was very cool. The 4 of us each had a main plus we shared two bottles of mineral water (too hot for alcohol, we needed hydration!). The food was... More

Staying in Little Italy

Neighborhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
