If you are only going to have one meal in Little Italy have it here. However if you plan on more than one make this your last since you will be disappointed with the others. Yes Little Italy is primarily a tourist trap but there are still several good places that avoid the touristy feel. Pellegrino's offers fine but casual... More

We were looking for somewhere special to eat for our last night in New York, this time round. Our concierge at Hotel Elysee recommended Pellegrino's amongst a few others for our Italian night. I glad we chose here as we loved it.The service, the food and the ambiance were exactly what we were looking for. A great option if your... More

Went to Pellegrino's at the suggestion of my cousin, who is a regular at this restaurant. The service was very attentive and the food was up to the prices they charged. I had the Linguine alla Sinatra which was served with an ample portion of seafood. Although the shrimp was a little tough, the meal was overall very nice. My... More

This was our second time here, the service was excellent, the wine list is very expensive, there was practically no wine under $40, the food was not actually excellent this time, although was good. The Veal Parmesan two of our group ordered was not that tasty, the calamari and shrimp with pasta was pretty good. This time our experience was... More

So.... Pellegrino's has a sign outside proudly touting it's Zagat rating of a 24 for food and 24 for service. That's a pretty darn good rating. Being a native New Yorker and having been to Little Italy, many. many times; the restaurants usually disappoint and are nothing more than hyped up over priced tourist traps. Pellegrino's is interesting. To get... More

We have been to Little Italy many times and weren't sure where we wanted to eat. We decided to stop into Pellegrino's and we are so glad we did. From the time we entered we were treated as expected guests, not customers. Our host was charming as were the wait staff. The food was everything we could want. Fresh pasta,... More

Happened upon this restaurant while walking through Little Italy. We were a group of 6 and they seated us right away. The service was attentive but no too much..the food was excellent, very flavorful. We had chicken, seafood, and pasta dishes as well as dessert and coffee and we enjoyed everything thoroughly. The only reason I am giving it a... More

My family ate at Pellegrio's this part weekend and had a great time. My son claimed it was the best pasta and vodka sauce he had ever had. I don't think he was to far off. All of our dinners; veal, ravioli and chicken rise to the same level. Food service was fast and friendly. Call ahead as you would... More

We walked around Little Italy and decided on Pellegrino's due to their marketing as the #1 ZAGAT rated restaurant in Little Italy. I was reticent initially as the atmosphere inside was I thought a "jam them in and take their money kind of feeling". I quickly got over that feeling and looked forward to enjoying an anniversary meal with my... More
