Was looking for a nice spot to have lunch in Little Italy with my 3 girlfriends. We decided to go into Pelligrino's and are so glad we did! I ordered the Shrimp Scampi over linguine and it was very tasty! All of the ladies enjoyed their entrees and the atmosphere. There service was outstanding!

We went into Little Italy to have lunch and to have the Italian dinning experience. Pellegrino's did not disappoint. The food was excellent and the service was impeccable. They made an off menu item that I wanted and did not hesitate. Now that's service at it's best.

We have never ventured into Little Italy when in NYC, this time we made time to head down there. You will be bombarded by many, many employees of the hundreds of restaurants in Little Italy. We took our time and walked, looked at menus etc. Don't let them talk you into going into a place you aren't sure of. Don't... More

I LOVE this place. Excellent food and service. I can't say enough about everything from the bread, the appetizers, the entries, the deserts and coffee, and the drinks. The people watching is wonderful. I just can't imagine how they could improve! We eat here each time we come.

This place is fantastic. The level of service we received was excellent. Felt tended to 100% of the time without our waiter being overbearing. He was willing to give us lunch size portions even if an item was not on the lunch menu, but on the dinner menu. Their seafood risotto with a lobster tail was worth the money. Their... More

The only place that doens't have some large Italian guy on the street telling you that he can get you outside seating with no waiting time, and that he is the only authentic Italian restaurant on the block. That was certainly the plus point. The menu is better than all the others we looked at (5+). The food was good.... More

I imagine there are several great restaurants in Little Italy, but I always seem to end up here...and influence my friends to join me there as well. The staff is friendly and helpful. Though the service could be a little faster... why? We are usually there to relax and rest up from walking the streets of NYC. I especially enjoy... More

We have been visiting NYC for about 25 years, and have eaten at several locations in Little Italy. I have to say this is probably the best Italian food I have ever eaten. The pasta was cooked to perfection. The bread was crispy and as light as air. The service was wonderful. My wife and I sat outside for a... More

as a resident of NJ, i have been frequenting NyC, as an adult for 25 years. There are some great places in NYC, not always in a tourist area. Little Italy is crowded, over priced and full of souvenir shops. Pellegrino's is one the the two reasons I even bother going to Little Italy. The food is amazing, the staff... More
