This place is fantastic. The level of service we received was excellent. Felt tended to 100% of the time without our waiter being overbearing. He was willing to give us lunch size portions even if an item was not on the lunch menu, but on the dinner menu. Their seafood risotto with a lobster tail was worth the money. Their... More

The only place that doens't have some large Italian guy on the street telling you that he can get you outside seating with no waiting time, and that he is the only authentic Italian restaurant on the block. That was certainly the plus point. The menu is better than all the others we looked at (5+). The food was good.... More

I imagine there are several great restaurants in Little Italy, but I always seem to end up here...and influence my friends to join me there as well. The staff is friendly and helpful. Though the service could be a little faster... why? We are usually there to relax and rest up from walking the streets of NYC. I especially enjoy... More

We have been visiting NYC for about 25 years, and have eaten at several locations in Little Italy. I have to say this is probably the best Italian food I have ever eaten. The pasta was cooked to perfection. The bread was crispy and as light as air. The service was wonderful. My wife and I sat outside for a... More

as a resident of NJ, i have been frequenting NyC, as an adult for 25 years. There are some great places in NYC, not always in a tourist area. Little Italy is crowded, over priced and full of souvenir shops. Pellegrino's is one the the two reasons I even bother going to Little Italy. The food is amazing, the staff... More

Well....you certainly have your choice of Italian restaurants in Little Italy!! We used good old Trip Advisor and chose Pellegrino's. It was a great choice. We both started with the Caesar Salad. And her is why I rate it Very Good and not Excellent. The description on the menu states that the Caesar Salad had anchovies, croutons, etc. That gave... More

Ate at Pellegrino's on a family day trip to NYC this weekend. We were hot and wanted an AC break, so we dined indoors. The outdoor seating looks great though! Service was fabulous. Portions are a little on the smaller side (for specials, at least.) The different bread varieties were delicious. My sister got gnocchi and we were a little... More

Looked at Trip Advisor reviews and made a reservation here and had a great evening. The service was about the best I've had in years at a restaurant...very attentive and clearly wanted to exceed our expectations. The food was great and I just wish I had left room for dessert. Highly recommend this as a great dining experience.

Very rich atmosphere. Service ok. Maybe the expensive restaurants spoiled me. This had an edge above other Italian restaurants. I will try a different one next time.
