My visits to NYC are never complete if I don't manage to get to Ecco for dinner or lunch. Ambiance is wonderful and it feels like a trip to Italy or Sicily. I prefer the old wood and leather booths as they feel cozy and private. I never eat pasta much anymore, but always do here as their Tortellini has... More

About a 15 minute walk from WTC, Ecco! doesn't look like much from the outside but offers a classic NY Italian feel inside. Excellent service that can actually take a little getting used to, Ecco offers an extensive and classic menu. They have HUGE portions so either come very hungry, be prepared to split a meal, or carry a doggie... More

Nice ambiance, good Italian food with a helpful variety on the menu, wine list is also reasonably prices for the NY area. The service is just okay, nothing outstanding but without issues either. It's worthy to try when you're in the area and need a table to have a small meeting.

I love this restaurant for the great italian food they serve. For me it is idealy located in lower Manhattan , just a couple of steps from my office. The pasta is just fantastic. Two things they should try to improve: 1. The so called specials are always the same. In my pov or they are true specials or you... More

Our salads, entrees were excellent. We did, however, have that, "you're not a regular" vibe from our server, and the tables (shaped like miniature ironing boards) were entirely inadequate for a party of 4. It may have been an off night, but we likely wouldn't return.

We ate the risotto and a vitela saltimbocca, with zucchini. We got as appetizer some free antipasti (olives, salami, cheese) and took 1 glas of cabernet and 2 bottles of sparkling water (san pelligrino). We paid 100 usd without tip. The portions were very great and although normally we have no problem with the quantity, there were many zucchini and... More

Excellent service and Italian food. Food quality is very consistent and service is always very good. I have ordered take out as well from Ecco and the food is always ready in about 20 minutes. Favorites include Hot Antipasto, Chicken Fiorentina and the Penne with broccoli rabe and sausage.

We loved this small, intimate Italian restaurant. My sister recommended the restaurant and we're glad we followed her advice. The menu is large and well organized and the specials board was loaded. The waitstaff were helpful, polite, and knowledgable. We ordered Caesar salads and a spinach salad with pancetta. Salads were crisp with flavorful dressings. We also ordered a very... More
