We ate the risotto and a vitela saltimbocca, with zucchini. We got as appetizer some free antipasti (olives, salami, cheese) and took 1 glas of cabernet and 2 bottles of sparkling water (san pelligrino). We paid 100 usd without tip. The portions were very great and although normally we have no problem with the quantity, there were many zucchini and... More

Excellent service and Italian food. Food quality is very consistent and service is always very good. I have ordered take out as well from Ecco and the food is always ready in about 20 minutes. Favorites include Hot Antipasto, Chicken Fiorentina and the Penne with broccoli rabe and sausage.

We loved this small, intimate Italian restaurant. My sister recommended the restaurant and we're glad we followed her advice. The menu is large and well organized and the specials board was loaded. The waitstaff were helpful, polite, and knowledgable. We ordered Caesar salads and a spinach salad with pancetta. Salads were crisp with flavorful dressings. We also ordered a very... More

Ecco is an old-time mainstay in Tribeca with a dining room and decor straight from the 1950s and over the top service right out of the Godfather. But, the food is just ok. The dishes are Italian classics; it's the execution that's lacking. My pasta was overcooked. My scampi, too. It's just not worth the price.

Love this little restaurant. I got introduced few years ago through a business lunch. Since then I have been going back for dinners. Dishes are well prepared and come with cordial service. The place is not big so it gets filled quick. It can gets noisy, but it is an Italian restaurant. Reservation is a good idea, or just walk... More

This is place just screams classic when you walk in the door. It's a bit older on the inside, but it also means the food and the service are top notch. Sat at the bar and ate with a friend of mine. It was noisy enough to create atmosphere, but perfect for conversation, as well. You're paying a bit of... More

We go for its pasta dishes and appetizers. The place is small but we consistently serves great dishes. They are not overly done but with right balance of flavors.

We had a wonderful time here. Had the Veal Parmesan, which was superb! Service is professional, and the ambiance is a top-notch NY-like experience. You'll easily drop $100 here for a couple, 150-200 with a bottle of wine. I've seen the comments about being rushed. We didn't feel this was the case, but there are so many servers that someone...
