Description: One of America’s most beloved restaurants, Gramercy Tavern has welcomed guests for close to two decades to enjoy seasonal American cuisine, warm hospitality and unparalleled service. The restaurant is perennially ranked at the top of Zagat Survey’s ‘Most Popular’ list, and has garnered eight James Beard Awards including ‘Outstanding Restaurant’ and ‘Best Chef: NYC’. Chef Michael Anthony’s highly seasonal menu consists of elegant dishes with a rustic influence that showcase the restaurant’s relationships with local farms and purveyors. The Main Dining Room serves prix-fixe menus starting at $92 for dinner and an a la carte menu for lunch, and accepts reservations 28 days in advance. The more casual Tavern serves an a la carte menu centered around the wood burning grill, and welcomes guests on a walk-in basis. The restaurant also features an acclaimed wine list, and thoughtfully selected beer and cocktail offerings.

I dont even know where to begin. From the moment we were seated at our table till the moment we left, we were treated so well by Marcello and his staff. From a congratulatory glass of champagne - our waiter made the experience so personal and intimate. He gave us wonderful and honest recommendations based on my food preferences. What... More

We reserved the back room for 20 people and Gramercy Tavern made the event and night something that no one will ever forget. We all traveled from Alabama for the weekend. The food, service, wine and atmosphere were terrific. Each course was explained as it was served. Each menu item was paired with a fantastic wine. We truly loved this... More

We had the sampler lunch menu ($58pp), which included 5 fairly small dishes. The food was excellent, I really liked four out of those five (marinated beets were plain and boring), although I (and some other people at the table) noticed that most dishes had a bit too much salt. The waitress was exceptional and overall the service is fantastic... More

There is no doubt in my mind that GT ranks as one of THE best restaurants in NYC. The menu, though limited, is exceptional... everything is prepared to absolute perfection. The drinks list goes on for pages... and yet there is always a drinks specialist who knows exactly what to "pair" with your meal. We have never, ever been disappointed... More

What a great restaurant! We went for dinner and were really impressed. Everything was delicious. Service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant. The only thing is that there was a little bit too much salt in my duck (main) but the rest was flawless. I would go back anytime!

The food was all very good. The service was great. The wines by glass/bottle were terrific. However, the portions were ridiculously small. The lamb entrée could not have had more then 4-5 ounces of lamb total prepared 3 ways. It was the size of a medium appetizer. We have been to many 1-3 star Michelin restaurants and honestly 92 dollars... More

A late lunch will generally last about 2 hours or more there and this time was no exception. Friendly staff, fine dining with highly accomplished wait staff. Yes, it is expensive but it is also a dining experience. Foodies must go!

After our hotel struggled to get a table for us on a Saturday night even though they tried to book. 28 days before, we had to go for a monday rather than our preferred Saturday night. To be honest I wasn't going to bother going as I thought it was going to be pretentious - what a mistake that would... More

My husband were in the city for only one night so I wanted to make sure our dining experience would be amazing - Gramercy Tavern was a great choice! We only wanted the Tavern as it was around 11pm and a Saturday night but when we arrived the hostess, Jasmine advised us there would be a wait. We compeltetly understood... More
