One of America’s most beloved restaurants, Gramercy Tavern has welcomed guests for close to two decades to enjoy seasonal American cuisine, warm hospitality and unparalleled service. The restaurant is perennially ranked at the top of Zagat Survey’s ‘Most Popular’ list, and has garnered eight James Beard Awards including ‘Outstanding Restaurant’ and ‘Best Chef: NYC’. Chef Michael Anthony’s highly seasonal menu consists of elegant dishes with a rustic influence that showcase the restaurant’s relationships with local farms and purveyors. The Main Dining Room serves prix-fixe menus starting at $92 for dinner and an a la carte menu for lunch, and accepts reservations 28 days in advance. The more casual Tavern serves an a la carte menu centered around the wood burning grill, and welcomes guests on a walk-in basis. The restaurant also features an acclaimed wine list, and thoughtfully selected beer and cocktail offerings.

One of the best restaurants I have ever been to! It had it all, superb food, fantastic atmosphere and wide range of drinks to choose from. The waiting staff were excellent and very knowledgeable of the food and drink they served. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a highlight of ours in NYC.

I am in the city on business and decided to go out to dinner and searched places I could walk to. I had certainly heard of the Gramercy Tavern so I decided to give it a try. There is the Tavern section and there is the restaurant section which has a fixed menu. I didn't have a reservation and arrived... More

The reviews don't lie. This is my husband and I favorite restaurant in NYC. We met on a date here 8 years agi and have been going back ever since. If it's a special occasion, we reserve at the restaurant. But many times, we eat at the bar and it's amazing. We have never had a bad experience with a... More

This was a 'special' birthday meal, and we went on the recommendation of a friend with out even consulting TA, and what a surprise, what a place, the restaurant is very nice, the service is excellent, and the food is fantastic, there is not a lot else to say really! When I am next back in NYC then I will... More

We had a fabulous evening here in this buzzy, young and friendly restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was great. It's not as high end as others we visited but is a great place for a relaxed evening out. Its the sort of place we'd all love to have near where we live.

The bar staff we exceptional, attentive to refills, remembering previous drinks and making top notch cocktails. The sommelier was very friendly and knew her stuff. Her recommendation was perfect for my taste and budget. The food wasn't as impressive as I'd hoped in particular the mains. Beautifully presented but lacking in flavour complexity and culinary prowess. The fact that a... More

My favorite New York restaurant nails it every time. We stopped in for cocktails and a snack late afternoon yesterday. The mixed cocktail menu was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed their choice. The sea bass was perfection, and the raw oysters hit the spot. The waiter was just charming, and the decor and vibe are always so satisfying. How do they make... More
