Ladies & Gentlemen, this is my 117th review and counting. I'm not sure why people are still lining up for getting some cake and coffee in that place, it is rather a poor service, the cakes are far too sweat and the environment could be far better. Those guys need a woman that can put some "love" into this place... More

I used to work at Beth Israel Med Ctr in the mid-80s and would go here all the time. It is still my go-to place for Italian pastries and cookies when I visit. We took out a box of cookies and pastries after a late meal around the block but the takeout counter still had a pretty lengthy line. The... More

A sight for sore travellers' eyes and a delight to the senses. The place was very busy later in the night. By the way, the coffee is good, too.

This has some of the best cakes in NYC. Try the strawberry shortcake and chocolate pinwheel cake, they are two of the best I believe. The selection though is wonderful and the smells delectable. If you're driving though, parking is an issue out here.

The strawberry cheesecake is amazing! Very creamy, light not too sweet and very tasty! The place has been there for more than 100 years, the owners are very nice too. If you are craving a real new york cheesecake thats the place to go!

This is a great late night place for a dessert. I tried the cheesecake, which was good, but the vanilla cannoli was to die for! I had good, quick service, and only had to wait about 5 minutes for table.

The hardest part of dining at Veniero's (pronounced like De Niro's but with a V) is deciding which of their hundreds of treats to try. On a quest to discover New York's finest cheesecake, I was lured to Veniero's by the promise of the Italian/Sicilian variety, which I had never tried before. Made with ricotta (and eggs) instead of cream... More

As a native New Yorker, Veniero's became THE place to bring visitors after dinner to enjoy Italian pastries and wonderful coffee. After being away from NYC for 10 years, I was very much looking forward to visiting again. It was disappointing: the pastries lacked flavor and tasted as though they had been in the case at least 3 days. The... More

Put this on your bucket list because this bakery is long established and you can wait and carryout or sit down in the inside cafe to experience really amazing baked goods. New York's finest!
