I heard so much about this place and I thought I would really enjoy it. Instead it was a fairly average experience and I don't see myself going back. I think it's either you love Italian pastries or you don't. I'm generally not crazy about them but some are still better than others... this was just OK. I tried cheesecake,... More

My friend swears this place has the best cannoli around. While I’m not an expert in cannoli, I have had my fair share of cream puffs and fruit tarts, and the ones here were delectable. It’s definitely worth the subway fare just to get some pastries to go.

I come here for the cannoli's mainly. Why mess around? Yes their other items are pretty top-notch, you have to get a cannoli or ten.

Came here one late night for some desserts with a group of my friends. We all had coffees, cappaccinos, espressos and desserts galore. The atmospher is very European and a great place to enjoy a nice sweet snack, relax with friends and catch up.

We wandered into Veniero"s while we were waiting to get into Momofuku's, which is right rough the corner. We stocked up on some pastries for breakfast, which were very good and a great alternative (i.e. much less expensive) to out hotel's continental breakfast. If you need a quick sugar fix, it is the place for you.

This pastry temple, in operation for more than 100 years, is a bakery with cafe. It supplies many uptown restaurants with deserts. Take-out is busy but efficient. The cafe can be crowded late night. The wait is always worth it, whether for butter cookies, gelato, cheesecake, any chocolate cake, canoli etc. Good coffee drinks too. Worth a detour! Take out... More

Ordered the chocolate raspberry truffle. It was so fabulous. I love chocolate and I love fruit layers too. Couldn't have picked a better choice. The service was excellent.

A four generations family owned/operated bakery, this is the place to go for dessert. Not only was the desserts wonderful, what is so great is that many of the desserts comes in two sizes, regular and mini. So for the calorie conscience people, you can still enjoy the desserts and not feel too guilty. Our favorite was the Triple Chocolate... More

I miss the old Veniero's, when most of the time a family member was behind the counter or serving you at the few tables against the right wall as you came in. The service is OK -- you don't feel pampered, as if you're visiting an Italian home, as you used to. The expanded section (which has been around for... More

This is my favorite place for NY cheesecake. I tried both the Italian and NY cheesecake but I preferred to NY Cheesecake. I also tried Two Little Hen and Eileens Special Cheesecake but this is still my favorite.
