Made reservations at this renowned NYC restaurant, arriving early and being told by the arrogant host "I don't think so!". The entry reminds me of an episode from the TV show Hoarders, and the interior of this very small two story NYC townhouse is eclectic with too many tables crammed together. Finally was seated upstairs only to wait for what... More

My friend and I came fore breakfast. We had the best time, we tried their famous frozen hot chocolate and we had a nice breakfast. There are bust boys and that just makes the waiter give an amazing personal service. Very recommended :)

My daughters and I absolutely adore this restaurant! Prior to our first visit we were warned by a friend that the wait was long. With this in mind we were prepared for a wait on a Saturday afternoon and did some window shopping around the area. We were told the wait would be 45 minutes, however it was at minimum... More

We went there and was told to come back after 1 1/2 hours. So we went to Bloomingdales first. My relative who lives in New York said we must try the this frozen hot chocolate and yes it was fantastic!!! Don't order the food there their service took long just order the ice cream. I ordered ravioli for my daughter... More

It all seemed a little down in the dumps. The lamps looked like they needed a good cleaning. The tables were crammed together to the point of being ridiculous. The portions of food were huge, but not particularly flavorful. No one at our table really enjoyed our meals. I'm not sure why this continues to be so popular. The service... More

You cannot book a table on line and when you call it's almost impossible to get an answer. So just go there and hope you won't have to wait for more then 30 minutes....! We waited on the bench outside while there were two more full benches and people waiting even occupied the stairs of nearby buildings..!!!! It's a charming... More

There is a longer story to this but not worth the effort in writing. Overall, the desserts were very good. Although, the much discussion of the frozen hot chocolate, which one patron described as a "Shake", is overhyped! Kind of disappointing...the service we had was below average. I would reconsider coming here again. Nice to experience once.

Serendipity 3 is known for having decadent desserts, some of the most expensive in the city, but I knew it from the movie 'Serendipity'. My husband and I stumbled across it walking around the city the first time we visited and I absolutely had to go in. We enjoyed our meal & dessert, so went back with our kids on... More

You can't visit New York without making time for Serendipity. I'm sure the hot food is good but you really can't beat a Serendipitous hot chocolate and an ice cream sundae. Ice cream comes in a dish large enough to keep goldfish and the hot chocolate has an array of toppings. The service is excellent and I don't think I've... More

I have been trying to get to Serendipity for a long time and made my husband take me when we were in New York City. The place is amazing and so much to look at. I had the Frozen Hot Chocolate and it was incredible. The menu has many items to choose from whether it is food or dessert. The... More
