Loved the vintage look. We had to wait a hour for a table we only went for the frozen hot chocolate and cheesecake. Tasty but far too much.

I know people say they had to wait to get in but we seemed to have struck it lucky, we go a table straight away, ordered our meals, pot pie (to share it was huge) , frozen hot chocolate, and sundaes (also needed to share). Loved the quirkiness of this place, the staff are busy and hard to chase down,... More

Walking there from time square plus waiting for 1-hour queue line before you can order is exhausting. But because the desserts were all so tasty and flavourful, it's worth the wait. I love the ambience. It's cozy. Im extremely delighted with the ice cream ive ordered.

My family and I were very much looking forward to visiting this place for dessert, the movie having an influence of course. We showed up and literally no one acknowledged that we were there. Two staff members were having a personal conversation of their own instead of tending to customers. When we had asked if we could have a table... More

Food was pretty good. You should have the frozen hot chocolate their claim to fame. It is a small place so count on a bit of a wait.

My wife wanted to go here because the place was in a movie. We waited for an hour which I can understand. They seat us and we looked at the menu. They had some real good looking items on it we wanted to try. We waited and waited and after 20 minutes no one took our order so we left.... More

Visited Serendipity in NY with my daughter in 2011. Loved the idea of the venue following the John Cusack movie and being a total romantic and eternal optimist, thought 'you never know' *lol* Found it easily, tucked neatly away down the trademark steps on East 60th Street and firstly was struck by the sheer volume of people. It was packed... More

The food is good- just not amazing... but the desserts make up for it! The frozen hot chocolate- especially the one with peanut butter - is like liquid heaven. It is a tradition for our family. One frozen hot chocolate is plenty for two (or 3) people - but they are by far worth the trip. Just make reservations!!!
