Food menu was a little different from what II expected, but nonetheless was a good choice. Portion size a little big, but great overall.

After having eaten twice at Pampano which apparently belongs to the same owner, we had high expectations. The place was horribly noisy (loud music and loud people trying to talk above the music). The waitress was very rude, she did not explain the set price system, she disappeared without a word when we asked her to return in 5 minutes... More

I am reviewing the "Bottomless Margarita Brunch" specifically here. This is one of the most amazing brunch deals in New York based on quality to cost ratio. As stated by others: although Mexican food and high end / quality may not be synonymous with each other, This place sets the mark. Richard Sandoval does it again with this "happening spot"... More

This was recommended to us by a New Yorker. As Texans we were a little hesitant to spend a NYC dining experience at a mexican restaurant---we were wrong! Service was excellent especially since we were in a time crunch before the theatre. Very creative dishes with superb margaritas! Would recommend to anyone.

Went here for lunch on a weekday. It was rather empty. The service is good and the wait staff polite and non-intrusive. They kept the water glasses full. The food is fair, nothing exceptional.

Finding myself alone but with an exceptional reason to celebrate recently while in the city I decided that I would treat myself to a margarita and lunch. A 3 second google search quickly informed me I was a mere 150 feet from "the best" margaritas in all of NYC so I made a bee-line directly to Maya- which was somewhat... More

We chose Maya because my wife had been there over 10 years ago and she said it was memorable. Well, that hasn't changed. We had a great meal starting with outstanding skinny margaritas and tasty guacamole. They were having a tamale festival so we ordered a sampler as an appetizer (highly recommended!). We each got a different entree: 2 steak... More

Getting good Mexican food in NYC is a challenge. Maya's food is good, but the noise level takes away some of the enjoyment.

I have been to this restaurant a few times and now make it my first stop for dinner when visiting NY. You will not be dissapointed. The service and the food are outstanding. This is not your standard Mexican fare by any means.
