Always great!!

This institution in my neighborhood underwent a transformation a few years ago: expanded, new tequila bar, improved menu. All these changes refreshed the place which had a great menu but needed some updating. I approve! The new menu has easy to share portions (for example 3 lovely fish tacos in a... read more

Was pleasantly surprised by this place. Had no idea what to expect from a Mexican style brunch but the incredible food was non-stop as were the bottomless breakfast cocktails. Quite expensive but worth every cent. I would definitely come back here and recommend to anyone looking for something different and off the NYC tourist scene!

The food was only ok. Not very flavorful, spicy or tasty. The service was decent but we also went on a slow night so they were able to pay attention to us.

Very nice place, good bar, good food. A little on the expensive side. Nice atmosphere, somewhat trendy. I live right near this place so will be back most likely. I wouldn't say go too far out of your way to go here, but if you are in the area, worth a stop in. The margaritas were really good, little pricey.... More

I would give this restaurant a 3.5, but rounded up out of generosity. The restaurant had a good ambience, but was too loud to carry on a conversation with the person across from me. It was like they had chosen a location with really good acoustics which is great for a concert, not so much for conversation in a restaurant.... More

I held a graduation dinner at Maya. Our group was 16 people. Our table was beautifully prepared and the service was excellent. The food was equally excellent and all of my family and guests raved about their meal. There wasn't any complaints. I would definitely return on my next visit to NYC.

Very cool place to meet up and have really good margaritas made from scratch. Guacamole was delicious. Tastes as good as my moms.

I was hesitant about a bottomless brunch with unlimited plates. I assumed that the food would be mass produced and pushed out in droves. I STAND CORRECTED. This place is fantastic! The food was great, hot and cooked to perfection each time. The drinks were tasty and plentiful. Our server was on point and never once seemed annoyed or overwhelmed.... More

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
