CAFÉ BOULUD features a French-American menu inspired by Chef Daniel Boulud's four culinary muses: la tradition, classic French cuisine; la saison, seasonal delicacies; le potager, the vegetable garden; and le voyage, the flavors of world cuisines. In addition to dinner seven nights, we feature a $37 two-course prix-fixe lunch six days a week, and brunch on Sundays. The restaurant is both a neighborhood gem and a destination for food lovers in search of casually elegant dining. Two private dining rooms seating 18 guest each are available for your private entertaining needs, and may be combined to accommodate 40. The restaurant's adjacent BAR PLEIADES serves inventive cocktails and a luxurious bar menu from 3 pm onwards. DANIEL • DB Bistro Moderne •Boulud Sud• Bar Boulud • DBGB Kitchen & Bar

Impeccable service to go with the creatively prepared French based food; bring your check though...the price puts it close to the priceless category.

We really enjoyed a lovely meal here. Excellent fish, cooked to perfection, with a great wine list. Not a cheap meal by any stretch of the imagination, but worth every penny.

The arrangement of Cafe Boulud, the quality of its food and its proximity to the Lincoln center make it our favorite place for dinner before going to the opera and concerts in the area. The Boulud quality of the ingredients and the cooking are wonderful.

This Michelin star restaurant gets 10 out of 10. Everything was just great. I had the Beef Wellington and my girlfriend had the Arctic Char they where both so good that I could not decide which one I liked best. The Service was outstanding as was the atmosphere. The sommelier was able to match a perfect French wine that went... More

I was indeed looking forward to Café Boulud in view of all of the recommendations. The room is relatively small, the tables crowded together, those for four are barely able to hold the service plates, glassware and dinnerware. Service is refined, knowledgeable and unobtrusive. Noise level is quite low for an NYC restaurant. We were able to talk at normal... More

I was a visiting Professor in NYC, and taken to dinner at Cafe Bolud. This restaurant was many years ago Daniels, and hadn't eaten here since then. The meal was magical. They had fresh truffles- I had the fresh pasta and the halibut with a mushroom sauce and black truffles. The meal was amazing, and the wine list extensive although... More

One of my favorite restaurants, always visit when in NYC. Great ambiance, attentive staff, great recommendations, prix fix menu is varied, great selections. It's always a 10! Had delicious lunch, a squach veloute that was to die for, followed by a brioche crusted sea bass prepared to perfection. Breads delicious, great wine selections to pair with your meal, what can... This is high class top notch french cuisine. I felt in the 30´s or 40´s, what an entrance... It is a power scene, striking place. You are watching you don't know who but there they are. There was a german shepherd dog in the entrance, incredible. The menu is to study it, it can be a bit difficult. I ate... More

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
