In addition to dinner seven nights, we feature a $37 two-course prix-fixe lunch six days a week, and brunch on Sundays. The restaurant is both a neighborhood gem and a destination for food lovers in search of casually elegant dining. Two private dining rooms seating 18 guest each are available for your private entertaining needs, and may be combined to accommodate 40. The restaurant's adjacent BAR PLEIADES serves inventive cocktails and a luxurious bar menu from 3 pm onwards. DANIEL • DB Bistro Moderne •Boulud Sud• Bar Boulud • DBGB Kitchen & Bar

If you are looking to try a world-class chef's restaurant at an affordable price, visit Daniel Boulud's, Cafe Boulud in Manhattan. Compared to his other fine dining establishments, like Daniel, also in Manhattan, this one is much more affordable. We went for lunch and had the Prix fixe lunch for $43 (app, entree, dessert). Bottles of wine were available for... More

This was my first stay at the Surrey and could not have been happier with my selection. The rooms were beautifully appointed with upgraded decor and technology. The service was superb and the food and beverage outstanding. The location on Madison and 76 was perfect for dining, shopping and walking in the city. I am excited to return and stay... More

Went to Cafe Boulud for a family dinner earlier this month and had an amazing time. The food was excellent, wine choices superb, and ambiance divine. Had the kale salad and the salmon. It was my aunt's birthday and the maître d' prepared a special dessert for her. My uncle, who is very difficult to please, was impressed by not... More

Ate here on weekend trip to New York City. The service on arrival, as you would expect at a michelin star restaurant was very good. The choice of dishes was large and the food we had was very nice. My only criticism is that we were sat on a table for 2 with tables either side only inches away so... More

Star studded on a Tuesday night - with both Woody Allen & Tim Curry flanking both my right & left wings. This place is the shiznet, and like one would expect, mega-pricey, but worth every penny. Great food & service. Lovely, intimate ambience.

We enjoyed the restaurant week lunch menu. The highlight of the meal is the really beautiful dining room and wonderful service at this well reviewed location. The food is wonderful and certainly a great value during this time of year. Enjoy this UES gem whenever you can.

Daniel Boulud should be severely punished for serving the mushroom-barley soup the Café Boulud provided in February 2014, and the severe punishment I recommend is to be required to consume it. Yes, a whole bowl-full! No one at our table snagged even a part of a mushroom, and the absence of cries of joy suggest that no one in the... More

An exciting menu. Not overwhelming, slightly understated both the food and service but enjoyable and comforting in an elegant surrounding

Colleagues and I had a business dinner here. The food and the service are in general over the top. I had the endive salad with a very delicate mixture of blue cheese and walnuts at first and then the duck breast, which was done to perfection. The wine suggestion - a red wine from Oregon - was excellent. In terms... More
