Description: Aureole, New York is the flagship showcase for Charlie Palmer's unabashed, energetic signature Progressive American cuisine. Now under the culinary leadership of Executive Chef Marcus Gleadow-Ware, who learned the importance of the classics at London's world-renowned Savoy Hotel, the kitchen turns out elegant, simple dishes with sharply focused flavors like Wagyu Beef Carpaccio with crispy shiitake, scallions, taro root, ponzu and lavash cracker. Aureole is located within the spectacular Bank of America Tower at One Bryant Park, the most environmentally advanced skyscraper in the world. Offering a range of dining options, the Liberty Room is smart and casual with walnut-topped tables and a back-lit, etched glass front bar with polished natural zinc top surface, the intimate Dining Room is designed in both lighting and texture to give off a golden glow, and The Halo Private Dining Room is wrapped with fabric panel and silver leaf walls, dotted with sculptural back-lit flame sconces. Now in its 25th year, Aureole is contemporary urban elegance.

You will not regret this tremendous experience. Charlie Palmer excellence. Well prepared and impeccably presented. Staff was excellent. Seated at 5 pm, easily walked to our show at 8 pm. at the Booth. Bubbly and wines were VERY well priced.

We booked our reservation through our hotel and the food was exquisite. The service was excellent. We had the tasting menu which was amazing, the presentation and execution of all the dishes was gorgeous. The staff were very attentive and the service was second to none. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would definitely return, not really the place... More

We came to NYC for a show and dinner. We were lucky to come across this Michelin rated (one star) restaurant close to Times Square. We were able to eat in the main dining room without a reservation, so walk-ins sometimes catch a break to eat at such a quality place. The food was superb. Each course's presentation was exquisite.... More

We ate at this restaurant based on a recommendation from our hotel. We were going to see "On The Town" which is about a block away. We were seated promptly and asked if we were going to a play and what time did it begin. We were assured that we would have plenty of time to enjoy our meal. We... More

We did not have plans for dinner but really wanted something good to eat. Jessica at The Library Hotel recommended Aureole. We arrived pretty early before our show. Once seated our waiter asked if we were going to a show and reassured us that we would not be rushed and we would have plenty of time. The autumn tyme cocktail... More

Was at the old Aureole years ago and was very happy to find the wonderful service and elegant ambiance still intact. From the maître d' to the wait staff to the sommelier, they could not have been nicer or more accommodating and all extremely knowledgeable. The price fixed menus, although not cheap, are good values relative to many other restaurants... More

Excellent food in a lovely room with wonderful service and very convenient to the theater. Pricey, yes, but what isn't. We are in the liberty room (a la carte menu). We will be back!

This used to be an elegant restaurant in a lovely location with excellent food and great service. Now it is on 42nd Street. I repeat, 42nd Street. Adjacent to Times Square. Ok, so that's where it is, and we knew that when making the reservation. Next, because of this vile location there are huge lit up advertising signs that flash... More

We had a great evening in this restaurant! Food was perfect! Service was ok. The restaurant is beautiful and the chef really understands his work! It was very quiet this evening, only 30% of the restaurant was booked at this saturdaynight. But it was a very nice experience!
