This is relaxed neighborhoody spot to enjoy a decent meal and some nice jazz. Nothing fancy here. If it was spectacular jazz, I'm not sure if know the difference, so it was just right for me. We split the chicken kabob and the eggplant salad. The portions weren't huge, but after overindulging all day, they were just right. I imagine... More

After a whole day of walking around the city we were in need of a nice simple dinner. So we entered Cleopatra's needle and the waiter showed us our table. We first ordered some garlic bread. Service was fast and we had the garlic bread very soon, but it didnt have a taste of garlic at all. Then we ordered... More

Food was tasty although not adventurous or a standout, service was efficient, and prices quite reasonable in context of UWS Manhattan. This is not a destination restaurant, but a nice place if you're in the neighborhood and want some good, honest food without a lot of "scene" b.s.

The first time I came here was to kill time before meeting friends for dinner nearby and to try their happy hour. I was really happy with what I found inside. The happy hour (until 7pm) is pretty good they make a great Dirty Martini and the wine selection is OK. I found out whole I was there that they... More

Nice experience, good atmosphere, food good and staff friendly. We were on honeymoon and had already penned this as one to go when we were researching our trip. We stayed longer than we planned once we had finished our meal as there is a large bar area so we stayed and listened to the wonderful jazz - lovely, relaxing evening.

This restaurant was close to the hotel we staying at and we chose to go into it as it had a welcoming exterior and someone was singing inside. Our meals were very good and the service was quick and efficient. However I think that we had turned up on Karaoke night at the singing continued non stop and the abilities... More

This small bar and restaurant was a pleasant surprise. There is live jazz most nights which you can enjoy from a table that affords a view of Broadway so you can people-watch. The food was very well prepared and reasonably priced, and the service was both friendly and competent.

Been here several times on trips to New York for drinks and the jazz. This time, we had dinner, too. The jazz is great and there is no cover, just a minimum charge for food/drinks, which I believe was reasonable. The meal was okay as far as quality, taste, and all- I wouldn't complain about it, but it wasn't inovative... More

We enjoyed 2 meals here. Service was excellent. Meals good, but overpriced for what you get: not highly technical cooking involved...so you are really paying for the live music, which is fair enough. Good atmosphere. You can sit at the bar or at the dining tables. Big screen TV to watch the sport if the music is not on and... More
