Six plump LI Bluepoint oysters for $5. You just can't beat that deal! Catch is you must eat in the bar area. That's okay, because that same platter would be $18. in the main dining room. The full menu is available as well.

Recently visited NYC and decided to host a dinner for my NYC relatives. We had 18 people (including 2 toddlers) and had reserved the private room for the evening. Because of some comments of other reviewers, we worried about how salty some of the dishes would be and had requested them to hold the salt. They were perfect! In addition... More

This restaurant was excellent, from the service, to the quality and presentation of food plus reasonable prices, considering it's NYC. We would return

We had dinner reservations elsewhere before a show at the Beacon, so we stopped in for cocktails. The bar was crowded but we were able to squeeze in and ordered the BEST cocktail for a summer evening---Lemoncello Martinis. We could only stay for one round, but decided we will be back for dinner with the husbands on another night.

Four of us ordered four different appetizers and four different entrees. All dishes were great. There were few specials offered but the regular menu was fine. The decor is very nice and the staff very friendly albeit the service was somewhat uncoordinated. Not all entrees were served simultaneously and we asked for bread and beverages more than once. Great UWS... More

Came upon this restaurant before a concert at the Beekman theater. Our group had various entrees ranging from strip steak to sea scallops. Each exceeded our expectations. Don't miss the Tuscan fries as a side. Going back soon for the raw bar & daily cocktails. Our waitress Erica was great

A little pricey but worth it! The appetizers are outstanding and the kale and marscapone raviollinis were delicous

I have eaten at Cesca several times in the past and always had a good meal, but the dinner I had ether last week was truly exceptional. I went with 3 other people and we all had outstanding dishes. My brother and I each had the macaroni carbonara, which was perfectly prepared and mouth-watering with every bite. My wife raved... More

I meant to review this restaurant the minute we left so that I could detail certain dishes that we ate but unfortunately I waited too long to recall exact dishes. My friend made the reservations and we had no idea what to expect. Were seated at large round booth like table that I loved Half booth half table with chairs.... More

We made a reservation for 6:00 PM so that we could make an 8:00 PM show at the Beacon Theater about 2 blocks away. We were seated immediately at a wonderful table. The bread came out with a wonderful tapenade. We ordered three appetizers for four people. A wonderful cauliflower deep fried and served in a bucket (fantastic!) a warm... More
