Raku is not high-end sushi. It's a nice neighborhood spot (with the usual Americanized rolls) and a very low-key atmosphere. The fish is of good quality - this won't be the most amazing stuff you've ever tasted, but it has always been fresh and a good value. The Yellow Black Dragon roll is one of our favorites, and they have... More

It's below street level and has a smell of mold. We didn't like the smell, but the food was good. The sushi was especially good, compared with others. My 8 year old liked the sushi a lot. The noodle soup was disappointing though. The menu doesn't really explain what each food really is. Be aware if you are not familiar... More

Great food, very efficient delivery service and pleasant staff! Fresh vegetables, great sauces. Inside is bustling, efficient and well managed. No mistakes at the table despite a large order. Brilliant!

On our way to Gari, we spotted this hidden restaurant and popped in and were impressed so we stayed!. The sushi & Sashimi are really fresh, the staff all appeared to be Japanese and the waiter discussed the menu and our likes with us before we ordered. The food was excellent. We went back two days later, different food still... More

Sashimis were really awful, one fish had a taste of disinfectant, the other was almost not defrost and spongy, water was coming out of it... Though we were not sick later on, we just thought food was to disgust from Japanese cuisine !!

This cute little downstairs restaurant is great for lunch or dinner. The sushi is excellent (my personal favorite is their "sakura roll," with shrimp tempura and spicy salmon in a marbled seaweed wrap), and always artfully and decoratively served. There is also a specials menu, usually written on the chalkboard next to the sushi bar. Tables are all booth-style, polished... More
