Ate here at 2:00 on Saturday. Very quaint local place with a well rounded Italian food and wine menu. Had some specials for the day which we liked. It was a leisure time for us and for the restaurant. We were not hurried but the waiter was attentive and friendly. Love to go back.

We stumbled into this great restaurant on our first day in the city when we were walking to the Natural History Museum and decided that the line at Shake Shack was too long. We were so glad to find this spot! It was very quiet at lunch time and we were immediately seated at a table for 4 by the... More

I really enjoyed our meal here, good value for a restaraunt in New York. The food was absolutely delicious, I had heard the garlic bread was great so my husband even joined me on the gluten free menu and said it was excellent. if I didn't live so far away I'd eat here all the time. Definitely make a reservation... More

If you just want a nice dish of pasta with a glass of wine, it's great. Not expensive at all, friendly staff and lots of locals. At night, it's a little loud, but it's just friends having a good time.

The seven of us ate here and were blown away by the excellent appetizers, pasta and deserts. The fig, goat cheese and prosciutto bruschetta were sublime. I had a wonderful lobster ravioli. The clam linguini in pomodoro was delicious. The pappardela buttera was spicy and delicious. We also had chocolate flourless cake, tiramisu and gelato, all were incredible. We left... More

Noisy and jammed on a weekend night..sevice pleasant but slow, but that was fine for us, but don't expect really relaxed conversation. Tables close together and large groups of women tourists were very boisterous. Pasta dishes fairly priced but other dishes a bit on the high side. I agree with other reviewers that the food is overcooked and that clams... More

We had lunch at Pappardella and it was, good, but not great. The price was great for NYC. We had a Prix Fix lunch for $15.95, which included an appetizer, entree and dessert and ended up taking some home. The food, service and atmosphere were fine, but nothing to get excited about. We'll probably go back when we want a quick... More

I found the Pappardella while walking on Columbus a Saturday afternoon. I had a vegetable panino and a glass of red wine, both were excellent, delicious and a good value. This is one of those small neighborhood restaurants that often surprise you positively in Manhattan. I sat at an outside table, the autumn weather was perfect. I recommend this restaurant... More
