When we were looking at places to eat near Central Park we ran across a deal for a picnic meal for two that you could pick up from Pappardella. I'm so glad we decided to purchase the picnic! We submitted the request for our picnic online the day before through their website. When we arrived the picnic was ready to... More

They put together a multi-course packed picnic lunch that can be picked up and enjoyed in Central Park. Everything was delicious and it was so easy and enjoyable. We especially enjoyed the chocolate cake/brownie dessert (we even asked for and received the recipe so we could make it when we got back home)

We found ourselves in the area around lunchtime, so tried unsuccessfully to get into another restaurant. We weren't really feeling strongly enough to wait that long for a table, so we walked on down the street and found Pappardella. Our service was very good. We had carpaccio d'manzo and insalata riviera for starters. The salad was really tasty, with generous... More

Had a travelzoo voucher for brunch for 2. Staff was very nice. Had a separate voucher menu. Had a mimosas followed by the farmers omelette with croissants and bread. The omelette was one of best I've had. Filled with goat cheese, spinach and tomatoes, it was cooked to perfection and served with a side salad. The only downside was the... More

We sat at the small patio outside. The tables were squeezed tight together and the waiters had to make a real effort to walk between the tables without brushing against us. The service was very professional and attentive. We also liked that the tables had table clothes- that was a classy and welcome touch. However, we thought that the prices... More

We had a 1pm brunch res for this cute little bistro type place. They have a small patio as well as a well packed(being sarcastic) dining room. We had a a travel zoo voucher for two people for brunch menu. This included 2 drinks- we had one mimosa and one bloody mary. The drinks were fine. Then we had a... More

I wanted to enjoy my dining experience at Pappardella's this week and am sorry that it didn't measure up. When I ordered the branzino I requested the fish whole, specifically telling the waiter that I enjoy filleting it myself. Because of the spirit of the gathering and not wishing to make a scene, I accepted the filleted fish without comment.... More

We had a delicious meal in this really quaint restaurant in the Upper West Side. They offer gluten free items. The GF pasta and bread were among the best we have tasted. We also had regular pasta dishes and a chicken dish - all excellent. We had dessert -- and the chocolate cake dessert was amazing. Their hot chocolate is... More

My wife and I got the prosciutto picnic basket. It was a great variety of food, all of it delicious. We took it to Strawberry Fields in Central Park, which was just over a block away. I can't imagine a better way to eat lunch in Central Park.

We got great gluten free pizza here to takeout for our lunch in Central Park. Great service and lovely pizza. Had a sangria while waiting and that was delicious too.
