I've eaten at Pappardella for many years. This last time, I met with my son and his 'serious' girlfriend. It was the perfect place to meet her and spend time chatting. The food was excellent as always and the wine list very impressive. Pricing is very reasonable and the location is great for Lincoln or Natural History Museum among other... More

We went for dinner on a Saturday night to this restaurant with some family members because we had a 30% discount coupon--without that coupon I would have never gone because this place is not worth the regular prices. But even with another discount coupon, I would never go back. The tables are extremely close together, the place is very noisy,... More

This restaurant is a neighborhood place for us, so we were really disappointed when we ate there roughly eight months ago. The food was not fresh, wilted salad, just bland. We returned about two months ago to give it another try and something great had happened. It looked like the place pulled itself together. I ate one of the best... More

I had the Eggplant Parmegian appetizer, the Veal Parmegian main course, and this incredible custard like with Strawberries dessert. It was really really good.

Despite a very friendly service, I was put off by spelling mistakes in the menu (which for me are an indicator of the restaurant's quality). The food was good, but not necessarily authentic. The pasta special was good and original (crab), but the tiramisù was too creamy.

WOW! We came here as a last minute Saturday night guess. We are so glad we did. After a long day touring NYC's UWS we were treated to some excellent authentic Italian NYC food. Food: Excellent food! Not a dish was off par. The bread was classic NYC. The pasta and sauce was perfectly prepared and served! Location: A corner... More

I've eaten at Pappardella on several previous occasions while visiting New York. I've never been disappointed. The food is great and the service is impeccable. My companion and I split a kale salad. She had linguini integrali and I had pappardella buttera. The food was great. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant.

This is an Upper West Side neighborhood restaurant that deserves to be a "destination" dining experience. Warm friendly service, quick seating, a great table wait staff, an excellent kitchen, a very good wine list and a pleasant ambiance. It's not inexpensive, but is a good value. Highly recommended for all of the right reasons.

Did a quick scan of restaurants near the Beacon and this was one of the choices - we happened to park right nearby and I'm so glad we did! What a great find - the food was fabulous (tomato & mozzarella appetizer, chicken milanese, linguini w/ seafood - yum!), the service impeccable (I dropped my knife - it had barely... More
