We went on the word of a gluten free blogger, and we were not disappointed. The gluten free garlic bread is oustanding (I'm not the gluten free one), and the pasta good. It's a small trattoria and reservations are recommended. I had a spaghetti dish with roasted brussels sprouts, garlic and broccolini. Very good. The house montepulciano was very good... More

No complaints about this Italian Restaurant. The food is excellent, the service is fine, the menu is varied from pasta and pizza to salads and fish. The prices are ok for Columbus Ave and NYC in general. It's a good neighborhood place, Tourists won't be disappointed.

Wife is gluten free so it can be hard to find good places to eat. Pappardella was an excellent choice. It's a short walk from Museum of Natural History or NY Historical Society Museum. We had a late lunch around 2pm and the food was excellent. Wife had sandwhich on gluten free ciabatta buns and said it was excellent. I... More

Nice place, cozy and charming. Excellent and rich food. The raviolis with lobster are the king of the rest. Definitely I want to come back.

I rated this restaurant as poor because of the almost-hostile waiter. Had he, and others, been pleasant and welcoming, I would have rated this establishment as average. We passed Pappardella a few months ago when people were seated outside and the place looked charming. When it came time to make plans for lunch after the parade, I made a reservation... More

This is a very good, neighborhood Italian restaurant in the upper west side of Manhattan. They have a terrific selection of food on the menu, including an entire gluten free menu. The only downside about the restaurant is the slow service, but if that is due to the focus put on each meal then it is worth it.

I was a walk- in at 6:00 and was immediately seated. A noisy crowd that night but my spaghetti a la carbonara was very good.

This restaurant never disappoints - food is great, service is quick and attentive, nice outdoor seating, really good drinks. Once you find it, you keep coming back.

We arrive on time for a 7:30 reservation and were told it would be 15-20 minutes wait. When we protested there was an apology but no offer of anything to make the wait more pleasant. We asked for a manager and she was no more helpful. Offering a glass of wine would have gone a long way. Instead we were... More

Whilst looking for a restaurant near the Beacon Hotel we came across this restaurant. We ate inside and the ambience was very pleasant and the hanger steak and pasta vongole were excellent. It was a good choice and we enjoyed our evening here.
