Great restaurant in Soho New York, The staff is friendly and attentive. There is a nice size party room on the lower level for those that have a small event to hold. Atmosphere is lovely, tables are close to each other, no wonder...lots of patrons, the food is fantastic. We ordered the Toasted Ricotta Gnocchi, wow they just melt in... More

Superb Sicilian baked eggs, fresh bread basket (sourdough, cranberry, multi-grain), and tasty white sangria. Our server was on point, didn't hover, but didn't make us wait. The ambiance was nice. We had a back-corner two-top, and could look out over the whole restaurant. The cherry blossom branches, dotting the restaurant, were spectacular and in full bloom. My date wasn't bad... More

We were late in making a mother's day reservation but were able to secure a table at Jane. The waitresses were very pleasant and eager to make suggestions on the menu when asked. My daughter had the Vanilla Bean French Toast which was excellent. They have multiple variations of Egg's benedict. My wife had the John Benedict with sausage and... More

This place is always packed so make sure you make reservations ahead of time. We went here for lunch on a Saturday. It was packed! I had the Jane burger it was really good but the french fries were AMAZING. One of the best fries I have had while dining out. My friends got the chicken with waffles. They were... More

Wandered in to Jane on a cold wet Monday evening, without a booking. Stylish but unpretentious, a buzzing room. No table available, but invited to belly up on a bar stool. Order was taken quickly and cheerfully by the lady behind the bar. While waiting I watched the wait team work. Speedy, witty, efficient, & I hardly ever saw them... More

My wife and I ate dinner here on a recent trip to New York for our 10 year wedding anniversary. The meal and service were both outstanding! I had the fish and chips and my wife had the Salmon and risotto and both were delicious. However, the stars of the meal were the Potato Gnocchi (featured on Food Network) and... More

Great place for lunch or brunch before shopping in Soho. The waitress was friendly and attentive. We shared the vanilla bean french toast (three large pieces) with warm maple syrup and fresh strawberries and banana. We also had a big mediterranean salad with a light vinaigrette dressing. The food was delicious and the service was fabulous.

One of my co-workers had been here before and told me their weekend brunch was amazing, so of course I had to give it a try. You definitely have to make reservations; we made one for 11am on a Saturday, and were surprised when we got there that the restaurant was not that crowded. However, by 11:30am it was packed... Staying in Greenwich Village

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighborhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
