The toasted ricotta gnocchi is all it's cracked up to be

We stopped in for the gnocchi and a few drinks with a friend, thanks to Food Network's "best thing I ever ate" highlighting it. Was not disappointed. Also the place has a great atmosphere, but the bathroom was neglected, and this was on a Saturday mid-afternoon. Staff was pleasant and the rest of... read more

One of my co-workers had been here before and told me their weekend brunch was amazing, so of course I had to give it a try. You definitely have to make reservations; we made one for 11am on a Saturday, and were surprised when we got there that the restaurant was not that crowded. However, by 11:30am it was packed... Amazing Saturday Brunch!! Our server was helpful and friendly, and she gave us great suggestions. The food was delicious. I loved the Sicilian baked eggs - what a wonderful mix of flavors and seasonings. My friend loved her Benedict Johnny. The brunch cocktails were also tasty - I recommend either the White Peach Bellini or the Apple Champagne Cocktail. The... More

Wouldn't find their food to be so amazing but it was ok. Tuna tartare was lol so small. I was like what is that? The big pot clams is generous. The steak salad is just ok.

Very busy place!!! A delicious brunch - large portions - great service. Simple review - because I would go back. Something for everyone on the menu.

Based on the reviews I was expecting an amazing brunch. My experience was just ok. I had the lobster Benedict. My friend had the filet mignon Benedict. The former was fair, although the lobster seemed to be pre-cooked and kept in refrigerator before use.The filet mignon was chewy and way too salty. The server was friendly and fairly attentive, until... More

One great thing about Jane is that they are one of the few fabulous restaurants for brunch that also take reservations. We were seated quickly and enjoyed delicious eggs Benedict and a tasty Bloody Mary. The breads and pastries were also delicious. I will definitely return!

Decent breakfast food but nothing amazing. The server was really nice and they moved us to a table by the window when we asked to get away from the crunched two top in the corner. Honestly, the food reminds me of it's sister restaurant The Smith: safe. They don't take too many chances.

We had dinner there, I can tell it was of one most delicious we had in NY. The main dishes are most between $20-30. Service is really good, nice music, Jane has a rather romantic atmosphere. Starters and wine glass a bit pricey, but it seems to be anywhere in NY.

Had Saturday brunch here recently. The food is excellent, service is very good - no complaints there. However, it's a very loud space when crowded (which it was) (main floor) and even though we had a reservation (and we arrived on time), we were seated about 25 minutes late. Not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things, but... More

Staying in Greenwich Village

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighborhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
