a find!

This place is quite a find - great ambiance, terrific service and delicious food. They knock it out of the park with veggies!

I had dinner and drinks here. There are some very interesting combinations of cocktails and I'm a big fan! Dinner was good too. Yes I would eat here again for sure, but mainly for the cocktails!

We were splurging so we started with the $25 cocktails, which were really good! A hot chocolate & a hot cider. Then we had crostini & chicken liver mousse. Both very nice, especially the mousse. Next we had the cauliflower entree (i wanted to try a veggie entree) & double cut pork chop, skip the cauliflower unless you're a vegetarian,... More

We went here specifically for the raspberry beignets ($14) as they came highly recommended and they were delicious! As you enter from street level, you have to make a quick right turn and head downstairs to Butter. We entered and walked thru a glass door straight ahead which led into a hotel, thankfully, the hotel staff was accustomed to this... More

Dropped in with my wife for dessert and drinks. The cheesecake was perhaps the best I've ever had. Staff was friendly and helpful. We'll come back for dinner next time!

I booked this for a friends birthday and was not disappointed. I am a bit of a foodie and wine snob and was very impressed, thank you Alex Guarnaschelli! We started with the homemade ricotta and ricotta crispy brussel sprouts crostini - amazing flavors. Our entrees were even better than the starter, two of us had the pork chop, at... More

I normally could not afford some of the restaurants I have visited this trip, but since it is Restaurant Week, many have a 3 course prix-fixe menu. This made Butter very affordable. I am a big fan of Alex G's and have always wanted to eat here. I started off with Butternut Squash soup which was to die for! My... More

This is the best tasting food I've simply ever had. We had beautiful cocktails, along with wine. We then had an amazing waiter who was very helpful explaining the menu and what he thought we should have. The food really was second to none. A must go to if your visiting newyork! Thank you

I have been lucky enough to visit some really great restaurants over the years, and this meal was up there with the greatest. Our party consist of two rampant carnivores and two vegetarians, and eac one of us was bowled over by our menu choices. Rather than ramble on, I'm just going to say IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT (our...
