The atomosphere was elegant. The staff was attentive and knowledgable. The food was the best. Very creative starters. The main dish was to die for. Adequate beer selection as well
I recently dined with my brother at Butter, a restaurant I've been wanting to try for quite some time. I know Alex Guarnaschelli has made a decent name for herself in the Food Network realm as of late, but I was curious to taste her cuisine. Truth be told, I wasn't disappointed. The ambiance was gorgeous - perfect for any... More
I came here for restaurant week and had a pretty good dining experience! My main issue was with the table itself that we were sat at. I did not mind being downstairs at all- I DID mind that our booth was pretty much a disaster though. When my party sat down, the centers of the two pieces that created the... More
Went on an Iron chef tour this weekend and tried Butter to taste Guarnaschelli's food. The high note of the meal was the perfect Scallop appetizer which was bar none the best scallop dish I have ever tried. The rest of the meal however was uninspired and seemed liked it had been phoned in. We can get better meals in... More
Walked by this restsurant many times, knowing that it is Alex Guarnaschelli's restaurant. Mixed reviews prevented us from going there, but restaurant week gave us an excuse to try it. Not bad, food was very flavorful, we had salad, mussels, salmon and short rib, deserts were delicious, good value wine special, the downside were the mussels, not the same type... More
This is a quirky and intriguing restaurant in NoHo. The menu was varied and reasonably priced. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the service was exceptional.
Montreal Native, my best friend and I were on a mission to check out the best of the best new york city had to offer. We checked out many great places however, Butter was certainly not one of them. We made reservations approximately 2 months in advance to secure our place. We heard the likes of Paris Hilton, Jayz and... More
We love to experience the fine dining opportunities whilst in New York. A certifiable celebrity chef groupie, I drag my indulgent spouse to their restaurants around the country in search of foodie nirvana. We visited Butter during the summer Restaurant Week. We had late (10 pm) reservations, and arrived early. While waiting we sampled the bar's offerings. My beloved had... More
We went to Butter after looking up some TV Chefs and decided to try Chef Guarnaschelli's spot. Like her on Chopped and the food didn't disappoint. Food was excellent and full of flavor, staff was great and drinks were strong. All around a great experience!
