Sunday brunch!

Sunday morning patio brunch was excellent on a warm day. We opted for the patio as the inside is very noisy. The seating is a bit tight on the patio but the food more than makes up for it. The kale salad ia amazing and non dairy. The chicken with it is equally amazing. I had the salmon benedict... read more

Went for brunch on Saturday. Ordered a bloody mary and the eggs benidicts. It was simply amazing!! They smoke all thier own meats and the ham was simply delicious. Made from scratch biscuits. Home fries were also a savory treat. Finished our meal with a shot and a fresh pressed juice chaser. Also went to the high line location the... More

This feels like a very crowded place and you're quite squashed in, but the food is amazing, so it's worth it - I guess it added to the overall atmosphere. Good selection on the menu for brunch and despite it being a little slow to have our order taken (it WAS very busy), the service after the food arrived was... More

I went to Bubby's Tribeca years ago when my kids were still kids. Great Mac n, Cheese, great Fried Chicken, homey setting. Bubby's has changed a bit over the years, but still is holding on to it's homestyle menu. Yes, it's more pricey, and yes, the new branch is in the trendy MeatPacking District, but it's still relatively unpretentious. You... More

Great vibe, eclectic menu. The best granola, yogurt and fruit bowl I have ever had. 6 different fruits, nuts and delicious homemade granola. The smoked salmon was amazing as well.

My guess is people go here for the locally raised, high quality meats. A group of us gorged on every manner of meat, chicken brisket, ribs and the like. All of that was very high-quality and extremely delicious. Hate to say it but the accompanying sides were somewhat undistinguished with the exception of the coleslaw. Although the drink menu was... Pleasant bustling restaurant with good breakfast and lunch items. Attentive and efficient service. A good choice if you're in the neighborhood.

Visited for a second time and it did not disappoint! Had French Toast, Bubbys Breakfast and Ranchos Breakfast, all was great! The root beer is also fantastic!

Homemade root beer Is incredible! Love the huge portion of cheesy grits. The Bubby's breakfast is more than I could finish. Cute atmosphere.

While not the best meal or the most memorable you'll have in New York, it will certainly be decent. Perfect spot if you're in the area to hop in with kids. The portions are generous, except for items in kids menu which are sized accordingly. The kale salad (chicken added) was really good. The big hit and big surprise with... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
