We went for a late lunch/early dinner craving mussels and pomme frittes. They were sorely short on attentive service. Most everyone in there was getting ready for New Year's Eve (the day we went) blowing up balloons and cleaning glasses....or they wre eating their own meals. For $25 - three course meal is well worth it. Great mussles with many delicious sauces, frites, great deserts (almond and pear tart was wonderful). Many beer choices. more

the Cafe was great, beer was excellent, owner and wait staff were extremely attentive and made sure we were taken care of. Everyone seemed to be having a good time and the food was delicious - the fries! the mussels! and the seafood plate I ordered with cod, scallops, and shrimp under a mushroom sauce!! Would definately recommend. more

I went to Cafe de Bruxelles nearly two years ago for the first time, and I am eagerly awaiting my next trip to NYC this fall so that I can visit them again. I've never seen so many choices of mussels on one menu in my life. The never ending pomme frittes are dangerous...eat with caution! Before you realize it,... more
