Totally unexpected we found this belgian bistro with a very good ratio food and price. A very nice choice of typically belgian cuisine accompanied with an excellent range of belgian beers. As belgians we were happy to eat some excellent plates after one week of american food.

I went to have dinner with a friend on a Thursday night. I had asked for a quiet table when I made my reservation. We were stuck in the furthest corner of the restaurant by the kitchen. Even there, the noise level was almost unbearable and we had to scream at each other the entire night to hear each other... More

Nothing especially great or wrong. Average meal. One positive is the outdoor seating option. Otherwise I wasn't blown away by the food. Would go back, but will likely opt to try nearby places before re-visiting.

Friends and I went for lunch and two of us ordered the tuna Niçoise salad. Expecting the usual presentation of lettuce, topped with green beans, hard boiled egg, etc. I was thrilled to see a very different version. The potatoes, greens, and haricot vert were chopped and arranged into a molded ring, topped with sliced egg, slices of seared tuna,... More

On a warm June evening, we walked to this Chelsea establishment on 6th Avenue across from Trader Joes. The front windows of the establishment were open, and a wonderful breeze drifted throughout the establishment! We had reservations for 8:30 PM, but arrived an hour earlier and were promptly seated. There were other tables open, and a variety of casual diners... More

As a Bzlgian, normally I hate going to Belgian places when travelling. This place however has real good food, a great vibe and you can sit outside to enjoy city atmosphere. The food actually really resembles the food back home. Highly recommended.

I've been there twice; once at the bar and once for dinner. The Belgian beer is excellent and the variety wonderful. The bar is busy but the patrons relaxed and not pretentious yuppie (still a word?). They are there for great beer and conversation. The beef stew (can't recall name) was great, tasty and filling. Mussels are above average if... More

Lots of Belgian beers. Specialty is Moules (mussels). We had oysters on half shell and then a pasta and seafood dish and dessert. Cost was high but then most meals in NYC are

Excellent food and very relaxed atmosphere. Waffle was "the lightest waffle ever", eggs florentine were great, potato pancake with onions fabulous, and croque Monsieur / Madam were very authentic. We were there on one of the first beautiful spring days and the doors were open which was lovely.
