Good breakfast

Went last year and my bf said it was THE best Bloody Mary of his life. Super impressive coming from him. Breakfast and brunch are yummy- had the breakfast bruschetta w goat cheese, scrambled eggs and pesto. Still craving more. Home fries were deliciously seasoned. Extra sides of bacon or sausage were $6.5 tho - a bit steep to me.... More

We found this place whilst wondering around the village, really enjoyed the food, drinks and service. A nice variety of food.

Almost every time I travel to Manhattan I try to eat at Noho Star. I love their eclectic menu and especially that along with the regular stuff, they also have an Asian section. Something for everyone. They're dinner size salads are all very good but this time I split the Singapore noodles with my daughter. Wonderful. I look forward to... More

Simply terrific food. I was in NYC on business and on my way to the first meeting of the day I noted a charming sidewalk cafe set up and noted this would be a great dinner spot. A couple days later on a Saturday evening when part of my business was completed I was walking back to my hotel and... More

NoHo Star has easy access to the 6, D, B, F, M, R & N subway lines. It has been a comfortable, casual neighborhood restaurant for 30 years. It has large windows which are fun for watching the masses stream by & an outdoor eating area in warmer weather. The menu is diverse- which makes it an excellent spot (breakfast,... More

With friends, we have season tickets to the Public Theater. We try lots of the small restaurants that keep popping up in the area, but we do seem to keep coming back to what I consider our "old reliable". The food is not spectacular, but always good. I am especially fond of the calamari salad. Burgers with fries are always... More

I came with a New York friend who said she'd walked past it countless times but never tried it. Maybe it was our scintillating conversation or the red wine but we both liked it. They have a pretty short menu. This is usually a good sign; few places can cook lots of dishes well. They also have, besides the usual... More

A friend recommended the Noho Star and I went there on Monday night. I have never eaten a pork belly sandwich and ordered that. What a great sandwich! The pork belly was mild and chewy. It blended perfectly with the crunchiness if the veggies sandwiched together. The side of pickled zucchini round it out perfectly. I am going back to... More

This place is perfectly located outside the subway, so no too much walk if it's too cold. The place is very nice and cozy with a classic touch. I ordered the huevos (eggs) rancheros which were ok, I like spicy food and the menu said they were spicy and they were quite mild ... The only observation. Friendly staff.

My wife and I were looking for a diner or cafe near the Public Theater for a quick bite before a show we were going to see. Noho Star was recommended to us. Got there around 5:30 for a 7:00 show. Place was fairly empty, very quite and welcoming. Service is good and food is decent. We were out in... More
