We booked well in advance all the way from Australia. Lucky we did, it was fully booked at 6.30pm already. We LOVE nice food and wine and we were not disappointed - one of our best meals in NYC. Food was amazing, great wine list and our waiter was very good with his wine recommendation. Not cheap but well worth... More

My daughter picked this restaurant for dinner 4/12/2014, we had a reservation for 4 at 6pm. We arrived a bit early and were seated immediately. The decor is charming, unfortunately, one cannot dine on decor and ambiance. The pressure to purchase wine was irratating and the reaction to our saying no to wine was unsavory. The Burrata plate looked lovely,... More

This was our last meal in NY before catching a flight and our hotel on the Bowery recommended it. First of all the room is lovely- the tables are very generously spaced and the decor is charming and attractive. A very comfortable space. Our waiter was charming and knowledgeable - his food recommendations spot on. Food was as Italian should... More

This place is awesome, it looks amazing and has amazingly friendly and knowledgable staff. All the food is superb and wine also!! We had a cheese board for desert which had a home made licL honey which was delicious, we were then given local whiskey with the same honey contained within it because we showed an interest - perfect night!!

Recently ate at Il Buco with my wife. We had a very nice time. We got there early so we had a drink at the bar. LIst of wines by the glass was a bit limited. We were seated early and offered our choice of 2 tables. We sat a table with 6 others. I like the fact that i... More

IL Buco, Alimentari and Vineria in NOHO requires a reservation. Casual, community seating and plan to share dishes with your friends. House wine is excellent, service very attentive and a wide variety of very creative dishes. Do the short ribs for two, saving room for some fine desserts.

I recently took my girlfriend on a romantic dinner to Il Buco. We were fortunate enough to be seated in the cellar, it truly was a memorable evening. Aside from the food being phenomenal, the atmosphere is quite unique for NYC. We felt like we were somewhere in the hills of tuscany thousands of miles away from the hustle and... More

Perfect genuine Italian taste of thin pizza base, was very fast service. Served on wooden boards. It's BYO and they don't charge for corkage. Deffs try it!

Was in NY over Thanksgiving week and a friend who is a big foodie suggested this restaurant. I loved the rustic charm, the food was excellent and service was too. If you want to try authentic Italian dining, this is your place.
