Solid Choice

Great service, delicious food, nice wine selection. Go early and sit at the bar if you can't get a table. Pay for the bread - it's worth it!

From service to food, well worth the visit to this superb NoHo spot. Heard about this from friends and would come back in a nano. Slightly loud but buzzing. My server was excellent!

I am writing this review right outside the restaurant because I didn't want time to dull how enraged I was at the service we just received. I am in town for a friend's birthday and we wanted to go to an authentic Italian restaurant for dinner. The food was very good, the setting in the downstairs section was excellent, but... More

Tried and true, year after year we have satisfying meals at Il Buco. We love the pastas and salads. Good wine list and desserts too. Make reservations if you care to go. It's always busy. I'm just writing this now after spending a month in NYC on the same block with this restaurant - but have been eating here for... More

I brought a friend who isn't from the city here because I love this place. The service and food are always great and this would basically be a neighborhood spot if it wasn't so popular with the world:). We arrived - had to wait a few minutes, were offered bar seating or table seating, tried some light summer wines at... More

We stopped in at the recommendation of a New York friend. Reservations are a must as it looked to be filling up not long after we arrived and we ate early starting at 5:30. Appetizers were sautéed arichokes and then baby chicken and lasagnette for dinner. Nice atmosphere reminicscent of old Tuscany. I peaked downstairs at the wine cellar room... More

We visited the place twice in two weeks. It was just addicting and I just had to eat here over and over until the last day before we had to fly back home. This will be an all time favourite. Food (kale salad, fish, salted caramel ice cream etc) and service was beyond excellent. The place had had a rustic... More

Great food and wine! Non touristy place. A bit loud for deep conversation - but charming and authentic. Hard to get a reservation so book early or persistent. Shout out to Bot in reservations for getting us in after 4 calls....:) Good service and very accommodating. Would go back anytime I can.

From the fresh bread, pasta and right down to the desserts, this place is delicious. One of my all time favorites in NYC. Tough to get a reservation though so plan ahead!
