il Buco is located on a quiet street away from the hustle of the City but the food will get your attention. The restaurant is beautiful, small, rustic, and romantic. You could easily stare into the eyes of your date or gaze longingly into the beautiful food set before you. The menu is broken up with a lengthy list of... More

Difficult to have a table. But I understand why. Very authentic Italian food, simple menu , but of impeccable quality. The service is great. The wine list is great. My pasta dish was amazing ..and It read like Spaghetti, Green peas, and Peccorino, crab meat , olive oil.. But it was AMAZING ..

Seems like an eternity this place has been going. With a lively bar scene too and bookings recommended (although walk-ups didn't seem to have to wait toolong mid-week), this efficiently run old skool Italian is highly dependble with selections in all categories: meat, fish, veg and pasta all looking and tasting(I tasted everybody else's!) well prepared. The astonishing wine list... More

I haven't been here for a couple of years and for a while it seemed eclipsed by its younger close by sibling, Alimanteri Il Buco. Four of us went for lunch last Friday Pro's * Very high quality food. * Large selection of highly seasonal appetizers and pasta plates. * Perfect for sharing * Exceptional Salumi, made in house. *... Last night, I ate at il Buco with a couple of friends I hadn't seen in a long time. We had reservations at 9:15, which I thought might be a little late. We arrived on time and we're seated right away. While the restaurant was crowded, it wasn't overly noisy. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and has wonderful ambience.... More

Had brunch here recently with a friend and was impressed with the great service (despite the fact that it was Easter and they were packed with large parties). The menu has a mix of recognizable and more eccentric choices, which all sounded delicious. Because I wasn't very hungry, I went for the chia seed pudding with honey and fresh strawberries... More

With a friend, I visited Il Buco on a busy evening when the restaurant was full. We came in without reservations but rather than just turning us away, they were very kind and managed to accommodate us at the mezzanine bar. It was perfect, we were able to converse easily and the food was delicious and well prepared. I liked... More

Walk into a bit of country. From the minute you step into this delightful space you will be tantalized. From the unusual drinks to the most delicious and fresh ingredients used. The soups are fabulous, the pastas will make you swoon and the main dishes are all excellent. What a fabulous experience!!! Enjoy
