We have not been back to this restaurant in many years. We were there last night July 19th and while the food is still very good and I gave the very good rating because of the food only I feel that this restaurant needs a total overhaul from the entrance to the back dining room. I suppose they have not... More

I hadn't gone to this restaurant in many, many years. I believe they only take cash. Appetizers came free of charge. The meal was very good, the service was good, the decor pleasant, a nice quite place (when we were there), perhaps a throw-back to a different time, but surprisingly still reliably good. If you are looking for a trendy,... More

This is a place that my family has been coming to for a long time and is a true gem. The food is amazing and you get plenty of it. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. The decor has been the same for ages and some may say needs to be updated but that's what gives this... More

we dropped in at lunch time and had some small paltes (tapas style) sitting at the bar and wow did i feel like we had stepped back in time to 1950s spain. the food tasted very good and was a defintie bargain price; the service was fast and efficient; I would say worth stopping by if you in the neighbourhood... If you like Spanish food and basic ambiance and a definite NYC bargain this is the place for you. The prices are very reasonable and the food was quite good with very generous portions. There is a "back in the day" feel to the restaurant - no fancy decor, and business-like older men waiters. They serve tapas for free in... More

I have eaten here for the last 30 years. As soon as you sit down they start feeding you. The sangria is delicious and so is the food.

Truly unbelievable value for what you get. Almost too good to believe. Don't be scared off when the waiter puts a salad and 3-4 appetizers on your table almost immediately after you sit down and you are not charged for them. Atmosphere feels and looks like it has not change or been updated since the place opened but the food... More

We arrived around 10 pm on a Friday night. The front room consisting of a bar and dining tables was packed with a happy crowd. We passed small dining areas on the way to the dining room in the back which wasn't crowded. I loved the atmosphere - a great combination of old and newer decorations. The waiter brought 3... More

I've been going to this intimate restaurant for many years and it has never failed to delight me and whomever I am dining with. I've dined with family, friends and co-workers and have always heard rave reviews. It starts wonderfully when, before you even order, plates of lamb, mussels and sliced sausage along with salad are delivered to your table.... More

The place is not fancy, and is very casual. But the sangria is the best I've had in a long time, and the food is good. In spite of the large portions, the prices are affordable. The only turn off for us was a grouchy old man that was very unpleasant when we arrived and wouldn't let us sit inside... More
