Spain has been in business more than 50 years. Here 'a why they have been successful. They serve delicious Spanish style cuisine and plenty of it. We sat down and immediately they gave us fresh bread, mussels with cerviche, fried chorizo, and a salad. We ordered four dishes for four people, which turned out to be too much. We had... More

This restaurant has been around for 40 plus years and it shows. The restaurant is very tired looking. The food is OK. The tapas that they give you before your food is the best thing you can eat there. Do not think I would eat there again.

I have been invited to dine here for years, I finally had the pleasure over the weekend. To sum it up, I had an outstanding meal. Apps arrive along with bread the moment you are seated. Good variety, the chorizo and mini lamb chops stood out. The Paella Valenciana was simply OUTSTANDING! Large portion with generous amount of seafood. The... More

A good friend was in town over the weekend and invited me to dinner. When I found out I was dining at Spain I was really excited. I have another friend, and Spain is her go to resturant. Some how I never did make it there until the other night. Well let me tell you it did not disappoint! When... More

Went there while on a business trip, was traveling with a coworker who said hes been going there for years. If I was traveling alone and passed by the place I probably wouldn't have went in there. The view of the place wasn't that attractive. I can say however I will go back again if I'm in the area. The... More

We have not been back to this restaurant in many years. We were there last night July 19th and while the food is still very good and I gave the very good rating because of the food only I feel that this restaurant needs a total overhaul from the entrance to the back dining room. I suppose they have not... More

I hadn't gone to this restaurant in many, many years. I believe they only take cash. Appetizers came free of charge. The meal was very good, the service was good, the decor pleasant, a nice quite place (when we were there), perhaps a throw-back to a different time, but surprisingly still reliably good. If you are looking for a trendy,... More

This is a place that my family has been coming to for a long time and is a true gem. The food is amazing and you get plenty of it. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. The decor has been the same for ages and some may say needs to be updated but that's what gives this... More

we dropped in at lunch time and had some small paltes (tapas style) sitting at the bar and wow did i feel like we had stepped back in time to 1950s spain. the food tasted very good and was a defintie bargain price; the service was fast and efficient; I would say worth stopping by if you in the neighbourhood... If you like Spanish food and basic ambiance and a definite NYC bargain this is the place for you. The prices are very reasonable and the food was quite good with very generous portions. There is a "back in the day" feel to the restaurant - no fancy decor, and business-like older men waiters. They serve tapas for free in... More
